Hello All,
Am pretty new to Jira, exploring various options. I'm currently using Jira ticket to track issues and raise new tickets for developments. I would like to have a ticket id without hyphens "-". Example :
Current Ticket Format: INC-0123456
Required Format : INC0123456
Is there any option to get this done?
Background:
I'm using Cloud hosted Jira (Free plan)
Hi @Hari Shankar ,
welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I don't think so. It is possible change the project key format on server, but not the issue key pattern the way you want it (exclude the hyphen) - see here.
So I don't expect to be possible, when you're on cloud.
Not on Cloud, the ability to change the pattern was removed to prevent people using ones that break things

Thankyou @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- and @Hana Kučerová for the answer. I had been searching for this everywhere and learnt that couldn't be done.
