Does it matter which JSON validator I use when implementing my descriptor and connector app?

@Info Dimention @mention  All you experts out there, please comment with any suggestions, also!  I'm trying to build a connector app and a descriptor app that I will be using.  The language specifications that are listed in the documentation are curl, python, java, php and one more that slips my mind.  Those are the ones in the Atlassian developer documentation.  Does it matter which one I use?
