import project using one add on tool and import using a different add on

Question

One part of our company uses configuration manager and we use project configurator.

I am trying to import the xml file given by them in my server . Will one add on be able to import a file exported using another add on?

Of course I got errors and want to eliminate this question before I go checking each error.

No.  The files exported by each App are totally different to the other one.  They are not in the slightest bit compatible
