Scriptrunner IntelliJ Idea Certificate Issues

I'm trying to open Scriptrunner in IntelliJ Idea unsuccessfully for the last 2 weeks.

1. Installed IntelliJ Idea Community edition and Adaptavist plugin successfully

2. I see the Idea icon in Scriptrunner and went past the accept certificate and connected to localhost page successfully


After this step, I click on Idea icon and everytime it says "Editor reported a failure... please check IDEA logs.". 


This is the error reported in the Idea log file: "Caused by: Received fatal alert: certificate_unknown".


Please help me in launching scriptrunner successfully in IntelliJ Idea.

Integration is currently broken for versions 5.6.6 and above as noted here:

The workaround is to downgrade to ScriptRunner for Jira 8 or 5.5.9 for Jira 7.

Out of curiosity did you try to bypass the SSL error?

Is your instance behind an SSL?


It has been working on mine out of the box, the instance I have has SSL though.

Yes I bypassed the SSL error in Chrome.

Also Yes my instance is behind an SSL.

I would assume your OS is windows, I tried to integrate it with Ubuntu once and the IntelliJ plugin is not compatible.

@brbojorque Thank you for the responses. I tried enabling the dark features and pretty much followed the entire articles you posted, still no success!


I'm still having the same issues. Not able to go past that error.
