How to hide issuetype in view screen

Hi,

with the help of scriptrunner I managed to hide certain screen elements and panels. I just don't know how to hide the field (issue)type in the view screen.

Ideas anyone? Thanks!

Hi Berry,

to my knowledge as per today there is no option. I even came across a requirement to hide "Comments" on View Screen per Script Runner Behaviours. While this works perfectly on an Edit Screen for the View Screen this is a different story ... unfortunately.

While I am not per 100% sure hiding "Issue Type" system field is also covered by ...
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-20138

... I would proceed there. Please leave a vote in case you suspect this to be a fit.
You also could add a comment over there to signalize you are interested and describe your use case so that responsible staff is able to identify what is behind it.

Sorry I could not bring better news to you.

Cheers,
Daniel
