we have a configured Jira in such a way when filling a mandatory field it creates child issue automatically(EX: filling two options in a issue create two child issue to a parent issue). this process works normally when you do edit items individually

But when you do Bulk edit and add one more option /existing option in the issue to the same issue it removes old child link and creates new link. so we are losing the date that are available in the child issue.

Any suggestions how to avoid this?
