Watch your most important items
In Trello, you can watch boards, lists, and cards to receive notifications when that item changes. With watching, you can receive notifications only for the activity that interests you.
馃憠For example: You'll get an email when a user adds a new comment to a card if you鈥檝e watched that card.

How do you know what you鈥檙e watching?
From the board view, look for the eye icons to see which items you鈥檙e watching. You can always stop watching an item.

When does Trello notify you?
When you watch an item, you'll get notifications for specific actions.
馃憞Click the tabs below to learn what you'll be notified about.
When watching a board, Trello will notify you when:
- A new member is added
- New lists or cards are added
- Lists or cards are archived
You can check your notifications in Trello by clicking Notifications (represented by a bell icon) in your top navigation bar.
Trello will also send you email notifications. You can change email frequency from the Notifications menu, by clicking More actions (represented by 路路路). You can also enable desktop notifications.

- Choose a list. In one of your boards find a list you would like to watch.
- Open the list actions menu. Select the three dots in the top right of the list.
- Watch the list. Select Watch.
