How Can Linked Checklist Templates Help With a Jira Audit?
Businesses often have numerous recurring procedures demanding precise and meticulous execution. The Finance team must adhere to specific steps during payroll to ensure compliance with regulations. Support agents are tasked with collecting pertinent details for each client-submitted issue. IT faces multiple security,…

Improve support response time with mandatory checklist items
People often believe that things that are obvious to them are as obvious to others. This is one of the reasons why first-line support agents often receive support requests with barebones information (or worse yet, without a description whatsoever 😨). Escalating a ticket like that, even by accident, won’t do anyone any…

Why (and how) cultivate a knowledge transferring culture with Jira?
All you need to do is ask, they say. But why would you, really? Think about it - asking a question may have its uses for an individual, but it isn’t scalable for a company. The people with all the answers - your experts, top performers, and knowledge holders typically have enough on their plate as is. Therefore I believe…

Lesser-Known Jira Add-Ons That Actually Save You Precious Time [2023]
People love writing about grandiose stuff. There’s always a larger-than-life new product that’s destined to disrupt, change, and revolutionize everything it touches. I, on the other hand, find much more pleasure in little, yet tangible things. Products that affect you every day without you even noticing it are my forte. I…

Smart Checklist is quite friendly when it comes to migration. We support a nice selection of migration options like migration from CSV,…

Add-ons not showing on the iOS app
Hey, everyone! Does anybody know why some third-party add-ons (e.g checklist apps, LastLog, etc) don't show up in the Jira Server/DC iOS app? The custom fields, if any, are well displayed though. Is the Server/DC mobile app so limited? If so, why? Can something be done? Maybe you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Migrating from My To Do
My To Do checklist app is no longer available on the Atlassian Marketplace as part of Atlassian’s commitment to stand with Ukraine. This means that My to Do users are no longer able to renew their subscription. Our support team has received several requests regarding assistance with migration and we have developed a script…

How do you use checklists in Jira?
Our team at Railsware uses checklists quite heavily in a variety of cases. For example, we use them to automatically add the Definition of Done to ensure that the engineering team knows about the criteria they aim to meet at all times. Alternatively, we use them to make the Acceptance Criteria much more defined and…

Best practices for using checklists in and outside of Jira
A checklist is a deceptively simple tool that can yield exceptional results when used wisely. However, not all of them are made equal. A poorly planned out #ToDo won’t bring you the levity of following clear steps toward getting the job done. Moreover, a bad checklist can be downright harmful to the processes you’ve…
