As Thiago suggested: Try asking the developer community.

The only solution I know & what my company is using, is the iFinder for Confluence app from the marketplace. This solution uses an external search server (Right now ElasticSearch, but switching to OpenSearch soon). Excellent search experience & results. We plan to integrate Jira & our file server into this solution.

I would join as a taster... 😜

Hi, I would prefer my AUG account.

Debi, did you notice the difference between the quicksearch (start typing into the search field instantly displays result based on page & attachment titles) or the full search which opens when you press return in the search field: This search allows searching the page / attachment contents etc. The result is sorted by…

David, great idea. I’ll try your editor tomorrow, while I’m using an external editor when editing for now. What about some articles, explaining what can be done with User Macros. Some ideas: * Simple attachment list which links the file name to the preview and/or download option. We use this inside page property macros to…

I gave some feedback already, but it might be a good idea to discuss one pretty annoying issue for me: As soon as I click into the quicksearch field the new search opens. I would have expected the the current behaviour just displaying the last viewed pages would be preserved, but maybe with a later version it'll work like…

Formatting didn't quite fit on 6.6 but still working...

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- I knew that one, but it's slightly outdated... I just wanted to bring up the topic into focus, because there are so many things one do. Any more examples of Scriptrunner macros collected somewhere?!? ;-)

Check the CONFLUENCE_INST/conf/server.xml file. If a reverse proxy is used, there should be some reference to it in the connector section. In our case, we use an AJP connector for Confluence & a HTML reverse proxy for the Synchrony part: <Connector protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol" port="8080"…

There is only one blog per space. But yo can tag the blog posts with a label & generate a blog report listing only blog post of a specified label: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/blog-posts-macro-139470.html

Did you try login.action instead of dologin.action? What is the actual error message you get?

The mails are related to attachments added/updated to a Confluence page. We had that problem in our company. I solved it by switching off the notification modules in a Confluence system addon related to attachments. There is a bug that the minor editing flag (Which, when set should suppress mails being send) doesn‘t seem…

You are using a page property report macro. This macro lists pages containing a page property macro with an embedded 2 column table. The first column contains the report table headers, the second column the values displayed in the report for that page. Additionally the pages displayed in the report must have a common label…

Belgian monastery’s beers are outstanding, but hard to get over here. A friend invited me to a Belgian beer tasting & brought some bottles of a beer one can only buy directly at the monastery. Delicious! But I skip on Belgian beers with fruit taste 😜

Server or Cloud? For server we use Scroll Viewport addon to modify Confluence to our needs.

Don’t know how to use CQL in a content by label macro, but searching for pages with title not containing Completed would be: title !~ “completed” I would restrict the search to a space or a parent page to not get too many results.

I don’t know of any addon providing the suggested function, however, what could work for you: Create a table, one column should to, and add a row per Jira issue you want to create, just write down the issue title in every row. Save the page. Mark the text in the first row. Move the mouse pointer over the marked text, the…

You have to configure the connector to listen on the AJP port 8009. Are you using the mod_proxy or mod_ajp module on the Apache server? I can asure you that Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket & Fisheye are working behind a single Apache server terminating SSL using AJP protocol.

Confluence server We use mainly global templates to get a common look & feel of our pages. We skipped the usage of instruction text or variables as the current implementation is not user friendly: The instruction text distracts users when editing the page, the variable selection page distracts user because they want to…

I have no favorite beer: Different occasions, seasons, food demand for different beers. I would go for a light citrus tasting beer in summer, but just now (Snowing outside in Germany) I just opened a Schneider Aventinus Eisbock, strong malty tasty with lots of rpm...
