I don't have any pets right now, but here's one of my favorite animal pics. @Chris Lutz and I rode mules to the EL Limon Waterfalls, in the Dominican Republic, in 2013. And of course, I have my Summit 2013 shirt on. ;) Fun day.

What a great post! I'm smiling from looking at all these great pics. In Virginia, you can bring your dog into the pet store and that's about it. In Florida, dogs are part of the family and they are welcome in stores and restaurants. I love that! Thanks for sharing everyone. :)

Thanks for all the great photos!! I was previously a dog person but then I inherited a cat. He was with me for 13 years and now I'm firmly BOTH a cat and dog person. :) Have any of you done a cat DNA test? It might sound silly, but as my cat was getting older, I wanted to find out everything about him that I could. There…

Thank you so much for this wonderful information @Bryan Trummer - ReleaseTEAM !! I feel like I have a game plan now, and won't just be wandering aimlessly like a tourist. :) I'm a foodie so I'll definitely try your idea of sampling snacks from all the country areas. Thanks again!

@Karen O'Keefe , I think you have a great attitude. Like attracts like! A great VP at an IT company once said to me "make sure you're always running towards something instead of away from something". I appreciated his wisdom and haven't forgotten it. When I graduated from college, a Student Services Administrator gave me a…

@Bryan Trummer - ReleaseTEAM - How was your Epcot experience? I'd like to go in a couple weeks. Any tips or "don't miss" things for adults to do (or eat) there?

Hi again @Marc Colangelo , we were all new once, and there's always multiple ways to accomplish things, so ask away! Hopefully others will chime in too so you get some additional ideas. I don't think Atlassian has built a specific solution for this (beyond Jira Service Desk) of course. Their in-house apps are…

@Chris Lutz makes the "spinning teacups" ride at Disney into "EXTREME spinning teacups"! ;) I thought he was going to break the ride... https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/magic-kingdom/mad-tea-party/

Does the lazy river at a water park count? First place: Atlantis, Nassau Bahamas - "The Current" I rode this all day! It's really long, full of large waves, and there are additional water conveyor belts that take you to slides without needing to leave your inner tube. Laziness at its finest!…

Hi @Marc Colangelo , you can certainly handle approvals and change management in regular Jira, which is what all of us did before Jira Service Desk was around! :) It will of course look and function differently however. For example, there won't be the same dedicated "Approvals" section like in your third screenshot. The…
-
Hi @Feda hamad , it is possible to display the "Introduction" gadget twice on the same dashboard. Both content blocks will have the same content however, so that isn't useful. Instead, since you have Jira Server, how about you create your own content block with the "Text" gadget? You can include HTML, CSS, and even…

Hi @FRANK OKONKWO and welcome to the Community! There's a lot to learn about Jira. I've been using it since 2011 and learn new things all the time. :) I'd start with the resources listed at: https://www.atlassian.com/university. There are lots of free videos and tutorials.…

Hi @Luca Andreatta , yes, I frequently encountered your skipped email message problem and was always frustrated by it. The only other thing I can think of is to query the mailbox's message subjects, search for a corresponding Jira issue with the same summary, and create a report of any that don't appear for further manual…

Thanks @carolyn french . I'm trying out https://www.timeshifter.com/ on my next trip. I'll report back if I like its advice. :)

Thanks @Inna Gordin ! I'm trying your Kayak and translated website tip out right now. :)

Hi @Inna Gordin - That happened to me once. I booked a flight through a third party (Google, Expedia, etc) on an airline I hadn't traveled with before. No pre-check privileges were present on my boarding pass. Solutions: 1. I gave my TSA number to the rep at the airline's ticket counter at the airport. They reprinted the…

AWESOME! I had no idea you could do this! Thanks for the great tip @Bridget Sauer

I love cruises when I need to get away but don't want to plan the details. This way, my only responsibility is not to miss the boat! Has anyone tried solo cruises? I've done 2 or 3. Some cruise lines offer solo cabins with special pricing. Works perfectly when I want to travel and "The Boss", as you called it @Mike…

Surprise travel: I read a great article on surprise travel the other day. You answer some questions, an agency plans everything, and you find out where you're going and what you're doing on the day you leave! Sounds super fun and easy if you're overwhelmed by planning. I'd love to do this someday!…

Thanks @vania and all!

Thanks for tagging me @Meg Holbrook :) Here's my answer: The best part of my job is combining my two favorite things: travel and Jira. When I was growing up, the message was: work hard in school, get a degree, get married, buy a house, have kids, accumulate a garage/basement/attic full of "stuff", work your way up the…

Great post @Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ ! I'm in the introvert club with you. There's nothing I love more than Summit (seriously, nothing) but I agree that it can be exhausting if you don't take care of yourself. Thanks for posting this. I'll retreat back to my Jira cave now...

Sadly, the pirate show at Treasure Island was shut down. It's a shame; it was one of my favorite free attractions. What ever will we do in Vegas instead???
-
Hi @Kyle Leavitt and welcome to the Community! I bet you've seen a lot of interesting things in your Jira instance! ;) I'm sure you'll be able to help a lot of people avoid some of the issues we all experience with large applications. Glad you've joined us! Rachel Wright

Hi @Shannon Jackson , I checked and I don't see any active groups currently in your state. I'm so glad to hear you want to start one! The user groups are such a GREAT program to be part of! If you haven't seen it already, there's info about starting (or joining) user groups here: https://aug.atlassian.com/ You can apply by…

Hi @AlishStrong , I can't answer your question, but I found a little bit of information that might help on this page: https://www.atlassian.com/company Scroll to the bottom, under the header "A brief history". There's a cool timeline feature to the right. It sure sounds like Scott and Mike created it together and hired…

Hi @Аркадий Сараян, good news! Time tracking is listed as "Coming Soon" in the "Next-gen roadmap for Jira Software Cloud." You can follow the new features added and available soon from this page: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/jira-software Hope this helps, Rachel Wright Author, Jira Strategy Admin Workbook

Hi @Anca Mosoiu, as you've discovered, the "share" feature is more about ability to view a dashboard, than alerting someone to it's existence. Luckily, each dashboard has a unique ID and you can share that URL with others so they can bookmark it. To get the ID of your dashboard, go to a different dashboard and then back to…

@Jeff Tillett - I had no idea there was White Castle in Vegas! Thanks for that great tip! #hungry

Ha! The Summit challenge badge reminds me of the Luxor. I wonder if Mandalay Bay will be jealous? I have #vegasbrain.
