Dear @PJ Wysota, Thank you for your quick reply. Here are the needed info * Jira custom field (text or select list, I can change it to Insight CF or other if needed) * No * No I will do that now and get back to you * No, because first I need the used (customer) to pick a value in field 'Application'. So post-function won't…

Hi @Patryk, Absolutely certain. Because before doing that I have clicked on Grant Permissions and confirmed for several times and the issue was the same as described. Then I added the API permissions and it worked. Let me know if you need more info or screenshots. best regards

Hi, The issue has been resolved now and here is how: * Upgrade to crowd 3.2.2 as it fixes this bug * Documentation is a 'bit' wrong, especially here 5. Configure permissions for the native application to allow Crowd to validate user credentials: - Click your native application. - Click Settings - In the API ACCESS section,…

Thank you vm @Craig Castle-Mead. It's finally working. The key takeaway point is using the ALB. It really changed everything. I had to rebuild a big portion of my infrastructure as I was mainly relying on Nginx to do what I'm now doing with the ALB. Really thank you vm for everything. Are you using a WAF with your…

Thank you vm for sharing all these info. I'm wondering what are you using as a 'proxyName' in the 'server.xml'. Are you using jira.example.org? or jira-elb.example.org? kind regards

Just for followup, it is impossible to generate SSL certificate using letsencrypt for ec2-XX-XX-XXX-XXX.XX-XX-X.compute.amazonaws.com !!
-
Just to follow up and share some information that i've just got from Amazon support: the ssl check I did was apparently the wrong one. I had to use the EC2 custom domain name (ec2-XX-XX-XXX-XXX.XX-XX-X.compute.amazonaws.com)and not my custom domain name (xxx.mydomainname.com). So I'm now wondering if I have to generate a…

Hey @Craig Castle-Mead, Actually the misconfiguration was in the Nginx side + AWS (NACL, SG and EC2 /etc/hotsts). Ok I will describe the misconfiguration in a later post. MKA

Thank you for your reply @Craig Castle-Mead. Let me give you come more details about the infrastructure I'm managing: * Cloudfront * Origin: EC2 Instance in a public Subnet* NACL & SG (allowing only 80/443) + will add the lambda function (thanks ;) ) * Nginx (reverse Proxy): forwarding 80(http)->443(https) + SSL + ... etc…

Thank you vm @Craig Castle-Mead for the post. Tried to do the samething but I'm wondering how would I disable any traffic not getting from the cloudfront distribution? In my case I'm using an EC2 instance with a reverse-proxy sending traffic to Jira & Confluence. thanks MKA

After submitting the case to Atlassian Support team, they found that the issue was coming from an outdated jar of Jira Software. Although Jira was displaying that the Jira Software was up to date, the jar was not really up to date. The upgrade process that my team followed was not good. great work Atlassian support team.…

Yes you're right @Manon Soubies-Camy. Haven't noticed that it was about the Cloud Version. Thank you.

Hi @Caroline Worsley, Welcome to the Atlassian community. Yes you can do what you want but you will need Automation lite for Jira. Here are the steps to follow : * Create an issue security scheme and within it create as many security levels as you want (for example: SECURITY_LEVEL1 for agents who have to have access to…

Hi @Jens Kisters __SeibertSolutions, Have you checked that your project is using the wanted 'priority scheme' where you have set the default value of the priority field? if no, you can do that by following these steps (if you are using the server version of Jira): * Go to "Projects > Choose your project" * Click the admin…

Hi @olivierdemey, Welcome to the Atlassian Community. Your guess is totally right :). In fact your filter does not include the epics but only the user stories linked to those epics. In order to solve your problem just add the following at the end of your query (but before the 'order by' of course) : OR issue in (CFE-625,…

Managed to solve this by using this plugin, for example (AM Utils or Jira Workflow Toolbox) and its JQL Validator with this JQL "development[pullrequests].open > 1" cheers

To give you a detailed answer will all the steps, I need to know how do you identify the cloned issue : * Do you keep 'clone' in the summary? * Do you have an issue link 'clones' (for example) between the original issue and the cloned issue Because Jira does not fire an event when an issue is cloned. Once we know how you…

Hi, I can advise a solution using a plugin but I will need more information : * What is a program? is it an issue? * you say that "Now we would like to perform a sum of a custom field (numeric) in projects" : Have you added a custom field to the project using a plugin? Can you please give detailed info (or a use case)?…

By a special I mean 'dedicated' (i.e another). Because requests are not like issue when it comes to "security". Issues do have security scheme but requests do not.

Hi @Manish Wani Welcome to the Atlasssian community. Can you try this : link Are you using tempo? hope it helps?

Hi @Adam Ward I would suggest two solutions : * Yes you can make a field mandatory upon a transition and here is how : link (you will need an add-on. Please note that there are other add-ons that can do the same thing) * I would recommend to use an automation in order to automatically fill the custom field on transition…

Hi @Printbag Embalagens LTDA, Welcome to the Atlasssian Community. If my understanding is correct, I would advise the following : * Create a special Service Desk and (for example) name "Employee Demission" * Create your request "Demission" for example, in this newly created Service Desk project * You may disable request…

Hi @Maura Kelly Welcome to the Atlasssian Community Can you ask you Jira Admin to check : * If there is a post-function in the transition of 'create issue' which assigne the issue to the reporter * If there is an automation rule (or other plugin) reassigning the issue after its creation to the reporter Feel free to share…
