@yurikudin the idea is that you don't need to link stories to Release Epics - you use a separate Release Management project with Epics aka releases, and you treat them only as releases. At the same time your Epic-release can be linked to the stories through the issue linking (if needed), or simpler through the release…

Hi @yurikudin the idea in our case that Epic is the release in a separate project which stores releases only. Everything what happens underneath the release (everything Independent, Valuable, Estimable, Testable and ... bringing business value) sits within the other projects in Jira - usual software development projects…

@Dave Mathijs stay tuned, and we will get you there :)
-
@Ivan Andrieiev yes, as I mentioned we already have an app for Jira Server version, and currently completing Cloud version of the app.
-
@Ivan Andrieiev we are currently developing a connector between Telegram and Jira for Cloud. We do have Server app version, and Cloud version is coming soon - around quarter 1 next year, if you are interested in.

Hi Dirk, Thanks for your comments! If you’d like to filter the groups, there are couple of options: * Using Assets (Insight) based custom field as you described - absolutely great workaround, as filtering is just there. However with the Assets you may get some limitations with the reports - Asset objects are not…

@Alexander Shilin we use bot commands to create tasks from Telegram, does it sound like what you need? We have this functionality in the existing versions, and this will be available in the Cloud version of plugin as well.
-
Hi @James Wicks thanks for the detailed explanation and just to confirm - we do understand how it works. The issue is though - even if you have fields required in the field configuration scheme for the issue type connected to the request type, you still can proceed with empty required fields and create the issue from…

@Alexander Shilin we have a free app for server and working on cloud version (planning to release it till the end of the year) - this may help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218556/telegram-integration-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=server
-
@Saqib Dar we have a free app which can help you with the customer permissions and visibility of particular projects in service portal: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218115/helpcenter-corrector?tab=overview This one is for server, however we are planning to submit DC version soon. Hope this may help?

There are still issues with the new create issue screen - any fields mandatory in the request type are not considered as mandatory, more over any fields mandatory on the field configuration getting skipped as well. Can you please fix that as well - it will be very much appreciated! Just for case, the bug for that was…

Hi Nick! We have a connector for Jira server: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218556/telegram-integration-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=server We are currently working on the Cloud version of the app, so please watch out for updates :) Pretty sure there may be other apps already available for Cloud. Thanks, Nadia

@Vishal that's really seems to be the only 'out-of-the-box' option. Otherwise you may research Marketplace apps, there are plenty which can do customised emails.

Hello! Do you know why users can star some boards but not the others? Is there any restriction in the permissions?
-
@John Funk it doesn't work at all. If you use quick filters on the board based on Epic Color - clicking on this quick filter returns you 0 results. There are issues returned by usual filter though, so I believe it is just doesn't work with boards. Do you know if that's going to be working for boards in future? Found this…

That's cool, was looking for a way to make that happen too

Hello! You should be able to link any issue from Jira, which you are allowed to see. Can you try exact issue key, like ABC-123? It should do the trick for you. Let us know if that works.
-
Hi Sai, can you please add a bit more details on your need to create issues? Why do you need to use CSV for that? Is it like you do planning in excel and then need to do some bulk import, or do you want to automatically populate the tasks from another system into Jira? As you may know, Jira has API which could be a good…

Hi @Chris DeGidio am I correct that even with JSM Premium we don't have this functionality and still have to integrate both?
-
@Dan Brockwell hey, hope all is good! Can you please let us know if you have any updates on the upcoming JQL-powered queue for major incidents in JSM Cloud? Would be good to know the actual status of this :)

Hi there! So there is NO way to do nice monthly reports out of the box, right? I have tried with filters and gadgets and it is not very accurate unfortunately, and leaving us with excel again... Do you have any plans on adding timesheet reports or smth like that in Cloud Jira?
-
@Anastasia Semenko got you, thanks! (still on a learning curve with Atlassian license management)
-
@Anastasia Semenko can you please advise if this is still applicable for Cloud sites? "Your Atlassian cloud site is billed as one subscription, either on a monthly or an annual basis, and the bill includes all applications and add-ons running on your instance. It is also worth mentioning that the user tier of the add-ons…
