Hi Maxim, Thanks for reporting that. It's a bug; we'll get it fixed. Alastair

The new UI is now back! Thanks for your patience.

Hi Sébastien, The option to use the new UI will be back soon -- sorry for the inconvenience! Alastair

Hi y'all, We're working on some other improvements right now, but tasks are close to the top of the backlog. Stay tuned. The ability to resolve comments is a great idea that we're considering for the future. Thanks, Alastair

Hi @Tjerk W, I see. Thanks for the extra info. We are working on improving that. Alastair

Hi Georgios, Thanks for your question. This refresh primarily concerns updating the user experience of the pull request page itself, so those features are not considered part of this project. That said, both are important improvements in our broader project backlog. Thanks, Alastair

Hi Francois, We're planning to add support for external integrations in an upcoming update, but I don't have an ETA right now. Yes, it'll use the same locations as the classic UI for consistency. I'd love to discuss what you're building! Shoot me an email if you're interested in chatting about it (awilkes at atlassian dot…

Hi Jon, Thanks for your feedback! Remembering this setting across page refreshes is in our backlog. Alastair

Hi Jon, Sorry for the issue; we're working on fixing this. Alastair

Thanks both for the additional feedback. We're continuing to iterate on the file tree experience, so this feedback is helpful.
-
FYI: this UX improvement has shipped along with some other improvements to expand/collapse behavior. Thanks!
-
Hi @Tjerk W, if excluded files isn't working for you, give our support team a shout so we can take a look: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud. Thanks!
-
Hi Jon -- thanks for the feedback. We're continuing to iterate on the activity feed and plan to add that improvement in a future update.
-
FYI: this feature shipped a while back, but I neglected to update this thread. Thanks!
-
Quick update: code context on outdated comments was added a little while ago. Thanks!

Hi Jeremie, Thanks for trying out the new UI and for letting us know your feedback! Quick question: what do you mean by "loads the unloaded files and teleports me"? We've hearing a lot of requests for file-level reviews, and it's something we're considering (along with other workflow improvements) for the future once the…
-
Hi Srirang, Thanks for outlining your workflow! It helps us understand how we can improve. Does your team use pull request tasks? Tasks let reviewers call out specific changes they expect PR authors to make, which alleviates the need to go through every single comment in the activity feed and the need to reply to comments…

Thanks Jesse -- we'll check it out.

Hi Joao, Thanks for your question. The definition of "most" features is going to depend on the team using them, because different teams use different features :) From our perspective, while we've added back most of the major features, we still have a few major ones left, notably * Word diff * Likes * Tasks * Merge…

Hi Sean, Thanks for trying out the new experience! We plan to add support for tasks in the near future, but at this time we can't share a specific date. We have a few other things to get through first, then we will add tasks. Alastair Bitbucket PM

Hi Krzysiek, Thanks for your question. Have you already enabled two-step verification? You'll need to enable 2SV for use with your authenticator app (TOTP) before you can add your U2F key. If you have enabled 2SV already, what do you see on the 2SV config page? Alastair
-
Hi Dave, Thanks for your question. No, the new pull request experience does not feature syntax highlighting in diffs, but we do plan to add this in the future. Thanks, Alastair Bitbucket PM
-
Thanks for the screenshots @Manish Maharjan! I understand what you are referring to, now. When you said file list, I thought you were referring to the (new) file tree (which you can view by clicking on the "141 files" card in the right sidebar), not the list of diffs itself. But the good news is that we do plan to add the…
-
Hi @Manish Maharjan Thanks for your reply! I have a couple of clarifying questions: Can you elaborate on what makes the old file list more skimmable than the new file tree? Is it the lack of the full file paths? The indentation? Or is the UX issue that the file tree is in the sidebar and not in the center column? If so,…
-
The 100 file limit has now been lifted. On a related note, we are aware of some performance issues with large diffs and are working to resolve them.
-
Hi Manish, The file tree in the sidebar is intended to replace the file list from the old experience. Does that not serve the same purpose for you? Let me know! Also - if filenames are cut off, you can click and drag the edge of the sidebar to expand it, or you can hover over a filename to view a tooltip of the full…

A bit late, but still worth following up: in January, we shipped the ability to exclude paths from the new PR experience. Learn more here: https://bitbucket.org/blog/exclude-files-from-the-new-pull-request-experience
-
Feature toggles that do nothing should maybe not exist? ;) Yep! We'll fix that.
-
Hi Kevin, I'm glad you're excited to try out excluded files! Sorry about the issues getting the new PR experience enabled. I do have one question: are you enabling the feature toggle on your own account (here) or are you enabling it on your team's account? I ask because right now, the toggle only takes effect for your own…
