Hi @Guy Renko You can create a filter based on some criteria and then configure Filter Subscription which will send the list of issues sent out via email. Will that work? Ravi
-
Hi @Casper You can't do that with the native in built reports in Jira reports. It is a common question but if you are using Jira Software with SCRUM board then stick to using story points at the story level. You can always use apps like eazyBI to create a custom report or do some automation to roll up estimates from…

Hi @prakhar Tiwari Interesting question. I understand what you are trying to do here, this can be done by parsing the comments body for date and doing some automation but this approach is a bit fragile. Basically you want someone to take some action by a particular date. It would be better to just create a sub-task with…

Hi @Brian Hunsdon You can definitely add a custom field with various options and make that field appear on a transition screen and possibly use a validator to check if the field was updated. Ravi
-
Hi @Bhavik Chauhan What have you tried so far? Some of your requirements if not all can be achieved using JQL, filter subscriptions and automation rules. For sending emails based on specific measures (like 75%) you would need to ScriptRunner. What are you using for SMS alerts? Ravi

Hi @[deleted] Most likely you need to add that user or whatever bot you are using to a group to give more permissions. For instance if a user has Jira administration right then it doesn't mean that user also has rights to perform edit, also check your permission schemes which is applicable on those issues/projects. I hope…

Hi @Ambreen Aslam Good questions. Epics are usually technical work or implementation of a requirement. Sometimes it is important to detach an actual requirement from the technical work. My recommendation would be use something like "Requirement" and use other fields to categorise it further. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @chelladurai You will have to use combine statuses in your JQL. Ravi
-
Hi @Adriel_Werlich Are those images stored on the issue or link to an external image. I understand bigger images could take few seconds to load. May be try by reducing image file sizes? Is it only for you or other users as well? Ravi
-
Hi @Sara Omar On your Jira Software Backlog view Epics appears on the left hand side. You can add stories from your backlog to those epic by drag and drop. Epics have colours which is displayed on the stories as well. On your active sprint view you can configure your swimlanes based on Epics. I hope it helps. Ravi

I suggest you raise a support request. May be your instance was deactivated.

Hi @Steven Janvrin Adding additional attributes is not possible without using any app for Fix Versions. What kind of additional information do you want to store with your Releases? Ravi
-
Hi @Fabian H You will have to use Advanced Roadmaps to create hierarchies and plan. However Epics > Story > Sub Task is fixed and you can add more levels on top of Epics. I can recommend something like Goal/Capability/Outcome > Initiative/Feature > Epic hierarchy. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Tobias Check for issues resolved using Resolution and check the Sprint field. If the issue is moved from one sprint to another then check the latest sprint name. Also when issue is reopened clear the Resolution. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Yufang Vangaasbeek Let me try to help. * First check in Admin | System | Advanced settings, you might be able to change the date format but it is system wide. * You don't need to have a custom field to get progress. The definition of progress in Jira could be based on number of issues resolved or number of stories…

Hi @Parveen Vats There are plenty of resources online. If you have specific question then you can ask here. Are you planning to get a job or add a new skillset or want to use Jira to manage projects? Ravi
-
Hi @Chris Hodges How have you built the hierarchy? The estimates are not rolled up automatically? If you are using Advanced Roadmaps then it does give you a rolled up view and it works nicely. Ravi
-
Hi @Jason Chayer Interesting question. Just wondering why you named your issue link type as "Bug/Improvement". Issue link type should be named based on the relationship between issues like relates, duplicate of, blocks, etc. Ravi
-
Hi @Crispin Unfortunately the pricing works on the number of active users. What is that functionality you are looking for? Ravi
-
Hi @Tomas Bayryakov Are you looking for a visual report or a way to plan based on milestones in general or both? You can do this within Jira using issues with duedates and label them as milestones. So you can filter them and show somewhere else. For reporting you can try eazyBI to create a custom roadmap based on this…
-
Hi @Oussama Chaouche Did you check the log for more details? Usually you will have more details there to help you troubleshoot. Ravi
-
Hi @Judy Those options are not configurable on the native charts. I use eazyBI quite a lot and it does offer some of those customisations. Ravi
-
No, there is no permission on the attachment field. If the person has access to the issue then they can access all the fields. Since you are on Jira DC you might be able to do something with ScriptRunner for Jira. Ravi
-
Hi @Abhishek Have you tried the inbuilt roadmap in your project? The most important thing is to have a start and end date and then visualise it somewhere. I would say start with the project roadmap which only works for issues from one project. For doing that across projects you would need Advanced Roadmaps or some app. Ravi
-
Hi @Ashley O'Reilly It is possible. Use a field configuration and make one of the field required for that issue type. However this will get slightly annoying for the end user but you will get that pop up. I guess you want to show it get capture some important fields. Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] Do you want the SCRUM master to get some notifications/email? Actually there are plenty of reports within a project like Sprint report, Velocity Chart etc that you manager can take a look at to understand more about the Sprints. You can also configure an automation rule to send an email to people on Sprint…
-
Hi @Ntamen kamogne harry Michel Need to understand a bit more about your requirements but did you consider setting up a JSM project? Ravi
-
Hi @Julius Liljeberg It is indeed the issue linking. What is the type of the issue link? When you do it from the roadmap view the issue link type is "blocks". Regards, Ravi
-
Hi @Irene Thanks for the update. Will there be any notification to the site admins before this is rolled out? Ravi
-
Hi @mayurpandya1993 Do you have any specific reporting requirements? Could you please elaborate on trigger report? JSM has inbuilt simple reports that you can look at and you can also create your own reports and dashboard. Reporting can also be done in Confluence page. Some apps like eazyBI can be use to create advanced…
