Hi @Mickaël ORSOLINO Most likely it is a problem with the create transition in your workflow. Check the validators that might be from an app that didn't get upgraded properly after the upgrade. You can test by removing those validators and publishing the workflow. This page has some details as well. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Arthur S There are few ways of doing it. The snippet below has a method which I use a lot for date calculation. def duration = TimeCategory.minus( new Date(), issue.created ) However the script on the page match closely to your requirements. Ravi

Hi @Abhishek Srivastava Where are you looking? In the backlog where issues (stories, tasks etc) are shown or in the collapsible panel on the left where Epics and Versions are listed? Ravi
-
Nice list, I like the banner images.
-
This was very much needed. Thanks for the update.
-
Hi @Leon Nabuurs Are you on Confluence server or Cloud? Well you will have to get a custom interface developed to achieve that rely on Confluence and Wordpress REST API to update the page. Ravi
-
What is the error? What is in your JSON body for the REST call?

Hi @Kaïs Albassir Let me give you some ideas. * Each project has its own unique portal for the customers to raise tickets * Each project can have different issue types which are further mapped to request types that are exposed on the portal. You can have multiple processes within same project * As @Jack Brickey mentioned…

Hi @Soham Das As @Joe Pitt mentioned first make sure there are not many admins and set a change control process and for automating creation of these configurations as @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- mentioned you can use ScriptRunner for Jira. If you are looking for some working examples then you might find this video useful…
-
Hi @Ben Weisman Jira keep's track of the old keys and will perform the redirect for you. So old url will stay valid. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hello @Emanuel Paquetelima Thanks. So what you can do is to make sure that email is being sent. You can find a simple working example here. Once that works then fetch the custom field value (if it is filled in) and use that in your code. Ravi
-
Hi @Priya Mitthankhediwale Yes you can do that using this end point. /rest/api/3/issue/sd-1/transitions You need to pass the applicable transition id in your JSON body like this. { "transition": { "id": "871" } } To learn how to do it you can watch this video I made, where I explained how to find the transitions as well. I…

Hi @David Dvorak I think there are two parts. For reporting you can create a simple dashboard to display filter results where your source filter can be based on a JQL like the one below. issuetype = "New Feature" ORDER BY votes desc Add more sub query to narrow down results to issues selected for development. For hiding…

Hi @Felix Brinadze Make sure that initiative issue type is in the project(s) used in your Advanced Roadmaps source configuration. I guess you configured the issue type in the hierarchy, right? Ravi
-
Hi @Shanmuka I would keep my test instance with same configurations as production. Except file storage, you may not want to keep all the attachments from production. Ravi
-
Hi @Emanuel Paquetelima Were you able to send an email when you hard code the email address? It would be a good idea to try that first. What is the type of your custom field? Ravi
-
Hi @jeanne_higgins Advanced Roadmaps comes with the premium plan. You can check the pricing yourself at https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing for the number of users in your Jira instance. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Jennifer Blanco You need to use Automation to do that. * Trigger the rule from parent issue is transitioned * Use branch rule to fetch that parent's sub tasks * Use Edit issue fields action, where you will find an option to copy field values from parent I recently covered exactly this in this video. As @Chris…
-
Hi @Kazumi Kerr I learned this the hard way that reverting changes can be a big hassle, so what I started doing I always add a new label like "2021-12-05_bulk-change" to those issues (or couple of more labels). If you are doing the bulk change using a script then fetching the change history for recent changes can also work…
-
Hi @Brian Bishop To do this automatically on transition you can use the "Send web request" action in your rule to create a Confluence page. This page has information about Confluence REST end point. I have shown how to make REST calls here. To fetch the content from the issue you need to use the Smart Values. I hope it…
-
What? Really? This is amazing and great news :)
-
Hi @Sahish Sure, please find the details here in this link. Ravi
-
Hi @Sahish Well there are few things you can do. * Symlink attachments directory to somewhere else like a dedicated file storage. * Set a limit on the attachment size, I am sure you have it already, just review it. * Do regular audit of your Jira instance to find out issues with big attachment sizes. I have seen instances…
-
Hi @Fariz Aliverdiyev You can use Automation rules to do that but why do you want to copy field from parent to child issues? Can you elaborate your use case? Ravi
-
Hi @John Braeger Well there are few things you can do. * Create a common dashboard with various gadgets * Use Kanban board * Use Automation rules to roll up some information * Ideally look at Advanced Roamaps to plan and track work across various projects, it will let you create your own hierarchy and much more * Try apps…
-
Hi @Alexandre ANTOINE Well there is not feature in Jira to do that. Since you are on server you can always modify the velocity templates (.vm) files but that is not recommended and risky as well. There is an like IssueLayout that you can try to change issue layout. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @John Barnett To access Jira they would need rights. There are other ways like using an app as @Leo Diaz - Deiser suggested. I have done this in the past using eazyBI as well where dashboard can be mailed to people or use other reporting tools like Power BI. You can also try to create a dashboard in Confluence and…
-
Hi @atarab As @John Funk mentioned you need to have premium, do you have the list of requirements related to road maps? I guess the in built roadmap is not sufficient for your requirements. There are other apps like Structure, BigPicture that might be helpful. Do take a look at these apps from the marketplace. Ravi
-
Hi @Ngai Chee Weng These templates are nothing but configurations consisting of mostly issue types, workflows, fields, screen, permissions and notifications. The purpose is to guide new Jira users get started quickly but you can always change these later on if you want. Scrum and Kanban boards can also be created or…

Hi @Adela Tataru It is a common requirement. Here is what you can do. * Let customers raise tickets in JSM * Have a status in your workflow to escalate or send issue to 3rd party * When issue is escalate, create a linked issue in another project like Software project Do not move tickets from JSM to Software. Linking is a…
