Hi @Tushar Kamble Interesting use case. I don't think there is any out of the box automation. May be there is a app that can do this. Do you know if a VDI can be created using REST API? If yes then you can use automation to make a REST call. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Carmen Nadeau What are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to create some report based on request type and some custom fields? Ravi
-
Hi @Narsha Bac You can do transitions using automation rules. You don't need ScriptRunner for that. My first question is why do you want to do this automation? Do you have PM/SCRUM Masters managing this sprints and ensuring that the statuses are up to date? Ravi

Hi @Phil Bustin What blank rows are you referring to? - Issue are cards and vice versa - If you are to the test issues in the Other Issues then those are also cards/issue but without subtasks. Ravi

Hi @Jason Lansdowne Since you are on Confluence DC (looking at your tag), you can query database to fetch some useful information. These links could help. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-view-a-list-of-all-space-creators-and-administrators-for-all-spaces-346325879.html…

Hi @Olivier Rabeyrolles That's a good point but there is no way to change this behaviour. Ravi
-
Hi @Hemanthkumar.Harikrishna , I think the resolution screen is missing from the transition. Contact your Jira Admin to fix this. Ravi
-
Hi @Alexander Wildes Jr You would need ScriptRunner to copy the attachments. You can also do that from outside Jira using your own script like simple shell scripts by utilising the REST API. Ravi

Hi @102_Miguel What is launching a task means? Do you want people to work on those tasks in a specific order? If you are using Jira Software then: * You can use Ranking (just order the issues) * For dependencies you can link to issue using "Blocks" link type. These will appear on a timeline as well. For automatic assign,…
-
Hi @Alexandra Dima Jira Software roadmap is simple but easy to use. What you can do it - to create separate tasks/stories for these activities, so these appear under a epic on your timeline. Regards, Ravi
-
Hi @Ivan Andrieiev You can do that using Automation Rules. Use trigger When: Value changes for Labels. and then check if Labels contains that specific label. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Ravikanth Chinthakuntla If you are referring to the hierarchy then yes you can fetch it from Jira. Epic Link: Used on Stories/Task to find the Epic Parent Link: Used on Epic and other issue types to find the parents as per the hierarchy defined in your Jira instance. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Zak Fareed I don't think so. May be raise a feature request for Atlassian? Ravi

Hi @Raghavender M Jira best practices is a wide topic. There is already plenty of material online available (Just Google it). If are a new Jira Admin then start by understanding standardisation of schemes, how not to mess up Jira, optimisation of various configurations, roles vs groups, custom fields etc. You can also…

Or you can use an if condition. Labels "contains none of" blocked
-
Hi @Елена Елена You can create a rule on Field value changed with change type "Value deleted". Then you can fetch issue's labels using the following SmartValue. {{#issue.labels}}"{{.}}", {{/}} You can search in this if the blocked label is there or not and then take some action on that. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Adam Taylor It is not possible and frustrating as well. Since you are on premium you can try to create a plan to list all the epics and see the ones without any issues under it. You can also create a simple report using eazyBI which is another app for reporting. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Spruha Shah You can do that by creating a column in your csv called Parent Id along with Issue Id and use any unique number for your issue and use it to create parent and sub task together. Refer to this page for more details. I have videos and sample csv files on this topic. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Gulam Mohammed No. It is okay to see the sprints on other board (after issue added to it) but use one board to manage the sprints. Do you want to manage sprints from multiple board or just want to see them? However you can use Advanced Roadmaps for managing work across multiple board/teams. Ravi
-
Hi @Remya Ramakrishnan Each project has inbuilt time tracking report which can be use. I agree the in built reports are basic. You can always dump information to an Excel sheet/CSV for advanced reporting or use any other external reporting app. This is what lot of people do. I hope it helps, Ravi
-
Hi @Maria Roquet Guàrdia There are few ways of doing it and it would also depend on the type of project. Have you tried using Field Configurations. You can make the fields required for all/some issue types and those fields will be required throughout the project. Ravi
-
Hi @N McMahon You have too many ANDs and your query might not be returning issues from that project. Do you see the issues when you run this JQL? Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] Is your Initiative set up in your Hierarchy?
-
Hi @Dom Bush Field has to be in the edit screen to appear in the list view for you to edit. Ravi
-
Hi @k.kawalec Share the screenshots. You must be looking at different type of projects in Jira. Ravi
-
Hi @Shannon Mollenhauer_ PMP_ CSM Yes you can keep it in the backlog if you want for all the requirements/epics to keep things simple. Or you can use a separate Kanban board to track all the new requirement with columns like Open > In Review > Approved > Ready for Development Now your main SCRUM board could be used for…
-
Hi @Jessica Dahm Are there any issues that are assigned to the sprint (using a sprint field) but are not included in the Board scope (using the board filter)? Also check your last column in the board. Ravi
-
Hi @Michal Shlomy You can't do that at individual level using Advanced Roadmaps also there is no more the option to manage the skills, it was a feature in the old version of Advanced Roadmaps called Portfolio but not anymore. Take a look at Tempo Planner app instead. I hope it helps, Ravi
-
Hi @Torres, Rodolfo (R.) Check Time scale, Refine report (Columns, Quickl Filters). Ravi
-
Hi @Sandra Carrillo You would need to use REST API for that. This is the end point to delete a specific worklog. "https://JIRAURL/rest/api/latest/issue/SD-26/worklog/10118 You would need to write a script to do it for multiple worklogs. I hope it helps. Ravi
