Hi @[deleted] Have you tried creating a variable? Ravi
-
Hi @lester Kacprzak You can do that easily using ScriptRunner for Jira. You can LoginManager to get this information. ComponentAccessor.getComponent(LoginManager) Ravi
-
Hi @Anil You can create an escalation service under jobs to achieve that but adding a comment on the issue or create a custom scheduled job to send an email. You can find sample code here: https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/send-custom-email I hope it helps. Ravi
-
You will have to write a custom script for that.

Hi @Sai Praveen Aminigadda You can create an issue using a post function or a listener. To get started you can take a look at this script here. Hopefully it will give you some ideas. Ravi

Hi @Leo Epstein You can create a transition from Status 2 to Status 1 or do you want the issue to stay at the same status but want to display a transition screen to capture additional information from the user? Ravi
-
Hi @dmitry_maslov You need to create a permission scheme with Browse project permission given to a specific role, you can call it "Read only" group. Also in your permission scheme make sure this role doesn't have any edit permission. Are you on free plan? You need paid plan to create own permission schemes. Ravi
-
Hi @Jeanne Higgins No. There is a no way to copy a plan. However you can recreate tasks with relevant links. The hierarchy is based on issue links, parent id or sub-tasks. You can prepare a csv and import it in your Jira instance. Then create a plan based on those newly imported issues. For importing csv import with links…

Hi @Seán Curran It seems like it because of the type of the field. Try this. {{GoLiveDate.toDate.minusDays(3)}} Let me know if this works. Ravi
-
Comment this line in your code. def issue = ComponentAccessor.issueManager.getIssueByCurrentKey(issue.key)
-
Hi @Lara Arthur In your post function you already have issue as a binding variable. So try the post function again by commenting that line. Ravi
-
Hi @Humberto Gomes Two things - yes you can update issues that are linked to each other based on a transition, second for appending values I believe you should be able to use smart values along with updating fields using JSON. Have you tried creating an automation rule? Ravi
-
Hi @Kyle Quevillon @Kian Stack Mumo Systems I can also confirm that {{issue.project.lead}} is indeed null. If this is blocking you then while Atlassian fixes it may be use this method to get the lead using REST API. Send a web request. JIRAURL/rest/api/3/project/{{issue.project.key}} Make sure to check "Delay execution of…
-
Hi @Valter Jakovlev If I understand correctly you need to configure the "Browse users and groups" under the global permissions. Thanks, Ravi
-
Wow, thank for explaining this so nicely :) Let me check and get back to you.

Hi @David Rodríguez Jara What exactly didn't work? Were you able to install fresh Jira instance on your target new server? If you Jira instance is not huge then restore from the XML backup, otherwise use native method of restoring the home directory and database. Both the methods are listed here. Ravi

Hi @Hemal Ambasana Most likely you will have to follow this path (from my memory). 6.0.3 > 6.4.14 > 7.0.11 > 7.13.13 > 8.15.0 > Cloud For each version you will have to ensure the platform is support as well - mainly Java and Database. You can find this information for 8.15 here. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @David Thomas There is no feature to create CPR unless you use an app or Advanced Roadmaps. However with some automation you can achieve few things like creating a release in another project with same name and release date. Take a look at this rule below to get some ideas. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Akshin Mustafayev Share your script and let us see why it is not working. You can also take a look at this script and this one as well to get some some examples. Ravi
-
Hi @Madhu There is a script post function to send a notification. Have you tried using it? Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] You need to look in the database and run a query like this. select * from searchrequest where reqcontent like '%issueFunction%' Since you have ScriptRunner then you can also go to the ScriptRunner | Resources | Create Resources I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Dawn Fama Notifications schemes are separate from Automation. If you think your rules are sending duplicate notifications then modify your notification scheme. Notification scheme are usually shared with other projects so just be careful about it. Ravi
