Hi @Sybil, Welcome to Atlassian Community! When you create the new space one of the options when you create a company managed project is that you can share settings with an existing project. This will share all the settings with the existing project, except adding users to the new project or creating the boards. If you are…

If you go into Space settings > Access > Space permissions there is a permission helper that will tell you what permissions a user is missing, pick one of the permissions under Issue Permissions, Edit Issues is a good one to start with.

Hi @Sotiria Roumania Welcome to Atlassian Community! You should contact Atlassian Support regarding this, it sounds like the user in question has ended up on the email suppression list. This happens when emails sent to an address bounces for various reasons.

Hi @mubashirhussan93, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You cannot currently hide of limit who can create Teams, please see this KB,Create and manage an Atlassian team for more information. Teams were added so that anyone with access to the instance could create cross-organizational teams to quickly be able to assign and…

Hi @Barbara Homer, Welcome to Atlassian Community! Not in native Jira, you would need an app in order to do that. I know Tempo Timesheets have a calendar view that you can add your time to for each work item, but I know other apps in the Marketplace can do that too.

One thing to check is if the users in question have been granted access to the project, and that they have the right permissions. You should also check to make sure that they have a Jira license.

@Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ I like the idea of using the API to change it, the only downside is that you would have to keep track of your automations that are using tokens. And correct me if I am wrong, but if you are hiding the header this would not work correct?

At a previous job we created a JSM portal in Confluence with the help of some marketplace apps. This was before you could create landing pages in JSM and CSM. The reasoning was that we have all the KBs in Confluence and the way the JSM portal works didn't do a good job for self serve. By doing it in Confluence we could…

Currently it is not possible to extend the token past the 1 year expiration, and there is currently no way of updating them centrally. There is a suggestion to add a secret store that you can vote and follow, see AUTO-1365. One option that I looked at was to store the token as a project property, but the downside of that…

You can definitely create a dedicated account that is using a distribution list/shared account email address, there is nothing in automations or Atlassian that prevent this. That is how we currently do it, and how I have done it in the past. The downside is that depending on the number of automation failures, your admins…

I wanted to be an air traffic controller, but a school nurse said I was color blind and put a stop to that idea (which is not the case, it was my astigmatism that made me fail the test, you know the one with colored dots and find the shape or number). In high school I was doing accounting and was planning continue doing…

Ever since Atlassian made an internal change to automations I have noticed that you have to use two variables when using regex or any of the format text strings, so that is the way I have dealt with it for the past 6 months or so.

To add more columns in a Kanban board, just highlight it on the left-hand side to see the three dot menu and select Board settings. From here go to Layout > Columns and from here you can add more columns. Note that in order to move a work item to a column you have to link it with one or more statuses in your workflow.
-
Hi @Neil Tuffs _private_, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You can do this by using the Get project versions paginated endpoint and you can use a query or return versions based on its status.
-
The work items in canceled status are moved to the next sprint because you are not setting the resolution, either manually or via a workflow rule. If the resolution is set then Jira consider the work item as resolved.

Hi @Olatoye Damilola, Welcome to Atlassian Community! Depending on how long it was since your instance was deactivated your data may have been deleted. Deactivation happens after 120 days of inactivity and then the data is retained for another 60 days before deleted.
-
Hi @David Sloan, Welcome to Atlassian Community! Completed sprints can be accessed if you go to Reports > Sprint Report, from here you can see all your completed sprints and reopen them as well. The report will show all completed work items linked to that sprint and also incomplete work items (those that belong to multiple…

If you look under Templates in Automations there is one under ITSM called "When a customer comments on a closed request → then reopen the request" that you can use as starting point.
-
Hi @bennyn, Welcome to Atlassian Community! Send an email to abuse@atlassian.com with the information and that team will deal with it. Please note that you will not get a response back, but they will investigate.
-
The reopening is handled by an automation, so you need to check the audit log for that automation to determine why the ticket is not reopened when a comment is added.
-
Hi @Emond_Papegaaij, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You need to contact your Jira admin at Redhat, this community is made up of mainly Atlassian Customers and as such we do not have access to other customers instances. Based on the error you do not have create work item permissions in the space you are trying to create…

Before I changed to a mesh network a couple of years ago my guest network was Password is gullible Now it is named Birk as a nod to Astrid Lindgren and Ronja, the Robber’s daughter.
-
That’s correct, currently that is not possible.
-
Hi @Mart Prins, Welcome to Atlassian Community! JSM is different in that normally tickets are created from the Portal/email/chat/widget, and not via the internal create button. So what you see is expected, mainly because JSM is using a request form that can be different from what you see when using the internal Create+.

Currently you cannot trigger automations with Gitlab actions unless you are using an incoming webhook and you are calling it from an automation in Gitlab. The status change can be triggered by a workflow trigger, have a look at Configure workflow triggers.
