Hi @Alan Schunemann, Welcome to Atlassian Community! This is a question for your Atlassian admin, they may have created/updated a Mobile app policy that requires Android 14 in order to access Jira. These policies is something that is controlled by customers, it not something that Atlassian controls.
-
Currently it is not possible but there is a suggestion to add access to Teams from within an automation, see AUTO-1732. In the comments you will see a link to a Loom video showing a workaround using the Teams API to get all the team members.

Hi @Derrick Mainor, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You probably ended up here because Wayfair is using Atlassian products and you clicked on help. This is a public forum and is mainly made up of Atlassian customers and as such we do not have access to other customers instances. You should contact your IT Helpdesk and they…

If you can upload but not delete attachments it means that the permission scheme for that project is not allowing you do delete your own attachments. If you have project admin permission you can look and see who have permission to delete by going to Project settings > Permissions.
-
Hi @kimberly.lowe, Welcome to Atlassian Commuity! Contact support and use the Account Login and Email Issues and they should be able to help you get admin access for your site.
-
Yes, Portal Customers is the same thing as Service Desk Customers. Anyone that is assigned Jira Service Management - Customer App access are considered to be a customer and can only access the project via the four channels that can be enabled for the project; Portal, Chat, Email and Widget.
-
@JZD you just have to set that user as the owner of the automation, you do not have to be logged in as that user and create the automation.
-
Hi @Samantha Concepcion Welcome to Atlassian Community! Just to add to @Trudy P Claspill answer, if you happen to have JSM then this can be solved by using Assets. You could then use object lookup in the automation to fill out the fields.
-
Okay, so either before the branch or within the branch add the Re-fetch component, that way the automation will get latest state of the work item including changes made within the rule.
-
The checklist is coming from the app Checklist for Jira, it is not a native feature in Jira. In most cases you cannot control for which work items the app is shown for, it is usually an all or nothing deal. There are apps that allows you to control on the project level if they should be available or not, and in some cases…
-
Hi Cody, Are the two custom date fields set by the automation that is also sending the email? If that is the case you have to add a Re-fetch component before sending the email. The automation will only have the data about the work item when the automation triggers.
-
You would always get notified in the app even if you turn off all email notifications in your personal settings.
-
The difference is that the notification scheme is for the whole project, and your personal settings control if you want go receive those notification emails or not. For example, if your personal settings is set to receive emails when you are the reporter, but the notification scheme for a project has removed that…

If you need to use the field in an automation it has to be on the screen/layout. Any fields that are not on the screen/layout are not available in an automation.
-
Hi @mstein, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You have to add a re-fetch component after you assign the story. When the automation triggers the assignee is empty and that is why the sub-task is unassigned. Even if you make changes to the work item in the automation you have to re-fetch the data in order to use it on related…

Hi @karljohanreite, Welcome to Atlassian Community! I have notified the Atlassian support team that is on here and they will reach out to you within 2 business days to get this resolved.

I just tested it and what you do is once your sandbox is created, go to admin.atlassian.com > Apps > Sandbox and you should see an Add button next to the instance which allows you to add Confluence to it.
-
Hi @sammy.tleis, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You get the error because it is trying to create a separate URL for you Confluence sandbox instead of reusing the one you have. Have you tried enabling Confluence on your existing sandbox by going to admin.atlassian.com and then your sandbox instance? I believe all you have…

Hi @Elia Kouruklis, Welcome to Atlassian Community! As far as I am aware the traffic light apps in the Marketplace adds a custom field on the work item so you can use that to report on their status, the quick search I did didn't result in a gadget. What you could do is using the Activity stream gadget and a filter that…

Currently as you have noticed it is not possible to assign to a team. There is a suggestion to be able to do this, check out JSDCLOUD-106. At my previous job we used the on-call schedule in Operations to assign tickets to our agents, which I wrote about in this article. Trundl makes an app that is similar in…
-
@Marc Cote It is probably called out in the license agreement. The subscription plan is on the app level, the the cost is based on the number of users you have. You can check out the Licensing FAQ here.
-
Task and story has always been on the same level in the default hierarchy unless you used a custom hierarchy were story was on the sam level as epic.
-
Hi @Stephanie Koukas, Welcome to Atlassian Community! You can still link tasks and stories, you do that by using the Link work item feature.
-
Hi @Ken Jones, Welcome to Atlassian Community! The Approvals screen in the Portal is based on if your name is in the Approvers field, so for canceled requests you would have to clear out the approvers field. You could do that either via an automation or have a post function on the decline transition that clears the field.
-
You could do it using the Automation API, there is an endpoint to enable/disable rules.
-
Hi @Jennifer Hofreither, Welcome to Atlassian Community! When you changed the permission scheme for the single project, did you also change the permission scheme for all your other projects? If not that would be the first thing you should look at. In order to allow external users to access a single project you have to make…
-
Hi @Nicole Bartel, Welcome to Atlassian Community! The short answer is no, you cannot get the app for free just because you pay for PowerBI and Jira. The app vendor is separate from Microsoft and Atlassian, so you would still have to purchase a license for the app.
-
My guess it that you have a property on the transition that makes the work item read-only and that is why your automation is failing, so your only option if you want to go the automation route is to do a manual trigger that sets the status first and then transition it to closed.
-
@Ulrik Schoth Yes, epic status is a locked custom field, but it is one of the fields that you can update as part of a post function
-
Yes, that looks correct!
