For a table on how to send SMS via email for most US carriers, see this page (table is halfway down the page). If the carrier doesn't accept messages via API or email, you could always make use of a service like Twilio (they charge a tiny fee per message - less than 1¢ USD per message).

The Table Plus macro in Bob Swift's Advanced Tables for Confluence plugin can do this. Add the macro to the page, put your table inside the macro, and then put 2 in the heading rows option. For more on the capabilities, see the plugin's documentation here.

Hi Shafi, I wasn't totally sure from your question - are you asking about reorganizing pages in Confluence? If so, check out the Atlassian documentation on using the Reorder tool which I think will do what you're asking.

Hi Eduardo, JIRA doesn't officially support encrypted databases - that is, Atlassian Support can't help if you experience configuration issues with encrypted fields. Some folks are definitely doing it. A couple items came to mind: * Since you're on 6.2, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-23255 for a…

I recall seeing headers in answers during the beta, but there were problems using them. Based on the known issues thread listing that the header bug is still open, it's probably just disabled entirely on answers until the bugs are fixed.

Hi Ray! If you found Josh's answer to be what you needed, can you consider clicking the checkbox next to to the upvote to accept as the answer? It looks like you already upvoted his answer, so thanks for that! I know the little button is subtle, but it definitely helps us keep on top of questions that still need answering.…

Hi Viktar, :8443 is being displayed because that's the port that Tomcat is serving Confluence over. There are security concerns with Tomcat serving over the standard port 443 for HTTPS, so you should consider using a reverse proxy intstead. As a rule of thumb, it's easier to manage SSL certificates through a reverse proxy…

I definitely understand that - privacy is important! The privacy policy linked above is written in a non-legalise manner that I'm finding easy to understand. It's definitely not lawyer jargon. I'd suggest giving it a read to help address your particular concerns. The policy will do a more thorough job of explaining things…

Hi Josh, It doesn't look like Trello is currently HIPAA compliant, but it does adhere to the US-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework. You can read more about Trello's privacy policy and compliances here: https://trello.com/privacy

Hi Earl, When pushing this out to your production instance, you'll want to get a certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority such as Verisign, GeoTrust, Comodo, etc. These providers charge a fee for their service. When you purchase a certificate through a Certificate Authority, you can choose what length of time the…

While you're looking at the courses, mousing over a particular course should show a Buy button. This will add courses to a shopping cart that you can add more courses to and get a total on pricing before purchasing.

Hi Amit! First, let's make sure your modifying the property in the right spot. JIRA stores its regular timeout value (what you get if you don't check the "Remember my login on this computer" box during login) at <install-path>/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/web.xml in the session-timeout property. By default, this line reads:…

Nice! The Table Filter and Charts plugin can provide this functionality as well as more gravy, but this is a great example of doing something with a user macro. There's a lot of possibilities without having to develop an entire plugin!

Hi Venkateswara, You'll want to subscribe to a search filter. Check out this Atlassian-provided documentation with screenshots: * Creating a search filter * Subscribing to a filter (sends results via email)

Hi Tuyen, You probably saw the API calls for getting all statuses in JIRA and statuses that apply to a particular project. You probably also saw how to get all the available transitions for a particular issue (the results show what statuses the issue could wind up in). The answer you linked to gives an example of code you…

Hi Remo, What version of Confluence are you on? According to this ticket, the archive functionality was added to Confluence in 4.3 which also hides activity from the dashboards on archived spaces. It doesn't sound like you have a Confluence that old, but it's worth knowing for troubleshooting purposes. What happens when…

Hi Ralston, The cost of training from Atlassian University depends on how many hours of training you're looking at doing and which topics you'd like to cover. There are several courses for JIRA covering Dashboards, Getting Started, Administration, etc. You can view them all here along with the pricing information. You'll…

Hi Ray, There are two types of login tokens: * Default tokens - session set to 30 minutes by default (will log you out if there's no activity in 30 minutes). From my experience, these do clear out at application restart. * "Remember me" tokens (set when the user clicks "remember me" at login) - by default these are valid…

Atlassian routinely comments that they do not publish details about product roadmaps. However, it's safe to assume that realtime editing will be part of the next major release (6.0), as also confirmed by Sherif Mansour. It also looks like Atlassian is bringing realtime editing to Cloud very soon, and could be releasing 6.0…

You can either copy/paste from the example (this is what I did) or create a new table in the editor. The Table insert lets you choose how many rows/columns to start with: image2015-7-14 7:39:3.png

Hi Lee, Check out the documentation for the Chart macro for more details: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Chart+Macro#ChartMacro-GanttChart Here's a quick-start: * Start typing { and then the macro name you want to use in the editor. It will auto-complete the macro name for you. image2015-7-13 8:47:28.png *…

Yes, it will still work. One consideration is that Confluence needs to trust SharePoint's SSL certificate. If you're using a self-signed certificate for SharePoint (hopefully not!), this definitely has to be added to Confluence's keystore. Instructions for doing that on Linux are…

Hi Hitesh, Have you looked into Amazon Snowball? Amazon will load the data onto a device they ship to you and you can attach it to your local network. There is a cost for this service, but it's an option to look at if you're not having luck with rsync. https://aws.amazon.com/importexport/

Hi Radhika, Since Resolution doesn't provide documentation for setting up Shibboleth (only configuring with ADFS is listed on their site), I recommend opening a support ticket directly with them: https://resolution.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/user/login?destination=portal%2F1 Best, Daniel

Hi Buonaidea, The column widths are resizable. When you mouse over the column dividers in the editor, the cursor changes to a resize tool that you can use to change the column widths. For your even better auto resizing widths, you can use Responsive widths. With your cursor inside the table (to get the table tools…in Hello, how can I make the width of the column equal? For example, I have 4 columns, and the 4th one is much more narrow than the others. I want this 4 columns to be of same width, or would be even better if their width will depend on their content.Th Comment by Daniel Eads {unmonitored account} December 2016

Second on this. We use nginx in our environment (and Apache before that) and the setup is pretty straightforward.

Hi Robert, Looks like you might have a typo. The option for sslProtocol can't have an 's' at the end. See https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/http.html for confirmation of valid options. Additionally, the all option is a shortcut for "TLSv1+TLSv1.1+TLSv1.2". Looks like you could swap out your TLS versions with…

Yes it is! From your Administration section, click on Space Permissions on the sidebar (or append /admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action to your base URL) and look at the Default Space Permissions section at the top. You can use that big Edit Permissions button to add the users or groups you want to the…

If possible, I would highly recommend running Confluence behind a reverse proxy like Apache or nginx. My organization is using nginx (installed directly from the nginx repo as we are on CentOS 6), but as you're on CentOS 7 you could make use of Apache 2.4 if you wanted. SSL termination is much much easier in Apache or…

Is the reason behind importing the certificate so you can run Confluence on HTTPS?
