That's at least some progress! Do you have access to your application logs?

Hi Julio, sometimes you can also trick the Plugin Manager by feeding it a marketplace URL. Since you're asking about 7.3.0 (although 7.3.8 is out, not sure if you meant that instead?), here's the URL: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/download/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.jira-software-application/version/703000 You can also…

Hi Sandra, There are a couple ways of doing this. From the web interface, the quickest is to find the user in the User browser from Administration and select View Project Roles from the action menu: This will give you a matrix of all the projects and what roles the user is associated with. There are of course a couple…

Hi Luis, I'm not totally clear on what you're trying to do. If you'd like to be notified about changes you make, the most straightforward way is enabling the "Notify me" on "My changes" option in your profile. Nevertheless, here is a JQL query that will show all changes (not just the ones you make) to all tickets you're…

Just following up on this for people arriving here from Googling. JSD-270 has been addressed (thanks for linking it Tolu!) and you can configure your service desk to let anyone in an organization (see documentation about organizations) see issues opened by other people in the organization. I agree that it's a bummer that…

Hi Katerina, If you have JIRA Server (not Cloud), you can use the free Delete All Attachments plugin which lets you delete all the attachments at once on issues. If you are on Cloud, unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. There are tickets open with Atlassian for implementing something like what you asked in your…

There's not documentation that I'm aware of, usually the modules have a short description so you can either search or hopefully read through and make semi-educated guesses about them. What precisely do you need to disable?
-
Hi Jigar, Just to make sure, you're getting other emails from Confluence right? A misconfigured mail server will result in these not sending even if the plugin is enabled. Now, for the actual plugin itself. I believe it's enabled by default so if it's not working, likely someone manually disabled it. Here's how to check: *…

Hi Rob, That's the right file in the documentation you linked to. Here's a couple troubleshooting steps: * Open the file again to double-check that the changes were saved * Restart JIRA (settings from in files on the filesystem are loaded at startup, so this has to happen if you make changes in files)

To follow up on Nic's answer, there is a plugin called Delegated Project Admin Pro for JIRA that takes steps towards providing what is described. Check it out!
-
Hi Kyle, We use the Dynamic Forms plugin for this. There may be other plugins that also provide the same functionality, but Dynamic Forms does a great job!

Hi Joe! It's really cool that you're developing a macro! You might not be aware, but there's a separate developer-focused community at community.developer.atlassian.com where more developers and add-on vendors hang out. They'll be able to more quickly and readily answer your question.

Hi Rosy, I saw this and your other question asking about capturing the Add Attachment event on an issue. These are good questions! However, they are more advanced / out of the answering capabilities of most people on the general community. There is a fully-dedicated Developer community separate from this one and I'd…

Hi Dan, This is not "officially" supported and doesn't appear in the published API documentation. However, there are a couple workarounds: * You can retrieve watchers for a page based on its ID (just tested this on 6.2.1): <your_confluence_url>/json/listwatchers.action?pageId=<pageID> - easy to just pull this up in your…

Hi Daniel! In JIRA, there's a setting for "dinging" the HipChat room when notifications are sent. Just make sure the box is checked - it's the very bottom option when you're configuring that particular notification.

Hi Abel, Check out these sizing guides from Atlassian's documentation: * JIRA * Confluence * Crowd - doesn't require a lot of resources and happily runs on an instance at the "smallest" JIRA size * Crucible (see Hardware Requirements section) * Fisheye (see Hardware Requirements section) * Bitbucket Server Those are all…

+1 to Rachel's comment. Autowatch is very important!

We are currently working to make that timeout longer to alleviate the problem further

Do we know the mechanics behind this and is it possible for the spam filter to reject these sooner? For instance, I was unable to post just a picture as a response in a previous discussion because it was being flagged as spam.

I also think it would be great if questions could have an (optional) "Affects Version/s" field in the style of JIRA, but I think it would take a lot of community effort to get it accurately populated. Hearing the same feedback from another AUG leader about answers/versioning. I haven't seen this really solved in any other…

To be fair, these usually get sorted out by the helpful contributors on here, but it does take effort that feels a bit unnecessary. Totally agreed - I think I spend more time doing this than actually answering questions.

Hi Seongyong, Is this a question about Trello? How can we help? 안녕하세요, 이것은 Trello에 관한 질문입니까? 어떻게 도와 드릴까요?

Hi Gopal, I don't have experience personally with the SOAP API as Atlassian depreciated SOAP some time ago and has been trying to get everyone to switch over to REST. While SOAP still works (but is depreciated), it soon will be removed from Confluence. I'd suggest switching over to the REST API. This will hopefully get you…

Sorry Jeff - looks like I am eating crow! This feature is Server-only. I don't understand why it wasn't implemented in Cloud, but it looks like that's how it shook out. The Copy Page Tree plugin does support Cloud however, so it looks like that's the way to go for now. There is an open ticket to get this in Confluence…

Yes, you can do this out-of-the-box in Cloud.

Yes, that sounds right. After reading up a little about MySQL encryption, it seems like you would want to enlist the help of a DBA who has used it before. A few posts noted that you'll take a performance hit encrypting the whole database and it might be worth scoping out to what you mentioned (text in tickets). Note that…

Hi Laszlo, There's currently an outage with Atlassian ID's through my.atlassian.com - this should be resolved shortly! You can get the current status and see updates at status.atlassian.com All the best!

Hi Elmar, Atlassian tracks the status of their services at status.atlassian.com - you can subscribe to updates to the whole Atlassian ecosystem or choose which individual pieces you want to be notified on. Currently there does seem to be a problem with logins affecting multiple systems - hopefully they resolve it soon!
