Hi Julio, By default, users don't receive email notifications in Confluence for their own changes. This is configurable and can be changed by checking the Notify on my actions option in a user's email preferences. To edit your email notification settings: * Choose your profile picture at top right of the screen, then…

Hi Thomas, I have a couple ideas: * Is your base URL reconfigured now for the domain name you are using? https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-the-server-base-url-148592.html * Can you check your server.xml file to see what connector ports Tomcat is expecting to use? This file is located in <your confluence…

May have answered this myself - the following error occurred for both oracle11g and oracle12c as the value:2015-09-16 12:25:47,846 localhost-startStop-1 ERROR [atlassian.jira.startup.LauncherContextListener] Unable to start JIRA.com.google.common.util.concurrent.UncheckedExecutionException: java.lang.IllegalStateException:…

Hi Sangeeta, The Content Indexing link is under the Administration section farther down on the left-hand menu:image2015-7-27 9:30:1.png You could use Ctrl+F to search for this on the page if you are getting lost with all the options along the left. Once you're on the Content Indexing page, click the Rebuild button:…

SQL queries for you: SELECT spacename, permtype, permgroupname from spacepermissionsjoin spaces on spaces.spaceid = spacepermissions.spaceidwhere permgroupname = 'GROUP_NAME' select spacename, permtype, lower_username from spacepermissionsjoin spaces on spaces.spaceid = spacepermissions.spaceidjoin user_mapping on…

Hi Nick, As it looks like you're on Cloud, you should file a support issue with Atlassian. From the other question you linked to, it looks like you're on Windows 10 using Chrome (include this in your support request). Answers is largely community-maintained and this looks like it is a bug with the latest Cloud release -…

Hi Craig, I see you've mentioned that the permissions on NFS are correct, but can you su to the account running Confluence and try to write a file to that directory anyway?
-
Hi Aaron, I'm unaware of any way to do what you're looking for with images (and just scanned through the marketplace to double-check). Perimeter ( https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.confluence.plugin.perimeter/server/overview ) does indeed look the closest to what you're looking for. I would suggest…

Hi Helen, The person viewing the page with the macro include does need permission to view the original page. If they don't have view access on the page the excerpt is being pulled from, they will see this instead of the excerpt: Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : User 'non-permissioned-user' does not have permission…

If you're still having trouble and even the Table of Content links aren't working, I'd: * Try with a different browser, just for kicks * Open an issue at http://support.atlassian.com describing the problem and what browsers you used (you could even link back here to describe what you tried)

Hi Tony, You can use the Table of Contents macro to help you retrieve what the anchor URL for a header is. Just insert a table of contents macro and hover over the link it generates to fetch the URL you'll need to use. In the image below, you'll use the portion after the hash, but put in a hash (#) of your own between the…

Confluence and SharePoint don't need to be in the same location to get the connector to work. You ~will~ need access to SharePoint's Central Admin to install the connector as a Solution file on the SharePoint side. Confluence/JIRA can go wherever you want as long as they have network access to the SharePoint box (via VPN…

You can give the request a try: https://www.atlassian.com/software/views/community-license-request/However, it looks like there are additional clauses on the request form: "Atlassian Community Licenses are designed for official not for profit organisations and charities which are not for profit, non-government,…

Hi David, The SharePoint Connector is a paid feature - pricing details are here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/sharepoint-connector/pricing Best, Daniel

Spot on. Thanks!

Hi Tom, Check out Atlassian's page for Confluence System Requirements. If you had your choice of hardware/software, this is probably the "best" configuration: Hardware Provide at least 2GB of RAM. Depending on how many users you have, other factors follow. See the hardware sizing guide for a better idea of what you need…

Greetings, There is a plugin that does exactly this, and does it very well . Meet the Archiving Plugin for Confluence - your new best friend for page cleanup. It lets you check to see how long since a page has been viewed or edited and mark it as "expired" or even archiving or deleting the pages if you wish. Check out…

Second Nic's answer. We use Label Manager for Confluence for cleanup which sounds like the boat you're in now. It has some nice features for nabbing similar-looking labels while you're editing.

Hi Hsu, Sounds like you may have a port blocking issue between Confluence and your AD Domain Controller. You can at least get an idea about this from your web interface - log in as the local account, go into Administration, and pull up the User Directories page. If there's no firewall block, when you click Synchronise,…

Here are some SQL queries to help you track down which JIRA Projects a group might be used in (Oracle syntax, you might need to tweak the quotes for use in MySQL/PostGRE) - select pkey, roletypeparameter from projectroleactorjoin project on projectroleactor.pid = project.idwhere projectroleactor.ROLETYPEPARAMETER =…

Good note! I'm on Oracle which for the most part is PostgreSQL/MySQL query compatible (Atlassian recommended DBs). MSSQL does have its quirks. Interesting that the date format used requires a time (even midnight) in MSSQL.
-
Hi Matt, This should get what you need - it grabs the administrators for all spaces and then subtracts any spaces that have updates SINCE the date you set. The result is a list of spaces with administrators that haven't been updated since the date in the query. Be sure to set the correct date on line 12. The format is…

Hi Sourav, There won't be an updated version of the plugin because it's now part of Confluence out-of-the-box. You'll get the latest and greatest Roadmap Planner just by upgrading Confluence!
-
Hi Paul-Andre, Seibert has a plugin that will send the page as an HTML email. The formatting works well on handhelds - I tested on an iPhone but I don't see why a Blackberry would stutter with the HTML. No PDFs involved and it's a two-click send from Confluence. You can select which users (or groups) receive the email just…

Marie, do you have a plugin installed that provides this functionality? This isn't standard out-of-the-box behavior for JIRA.
