Hi Helmut, Thanks for the supplemental information! The movie showed me what I suspected. It looks like Checklist doesn't get the signal from JIRA that the customfield has been loaded and as such is not properly initialized. I think that it is because of the view you are in. Is that the search view? In order for me to…

Hi, I would require more information to troubleshoot the issue. * Which browser are you using? * Is it possible to record the screen if you can reproduce the issue. It helps me understand what the user is doing and allows me to replicate the procedure. * Do you get any browser errors when this happen? * Did you recently…

I think that the only way for you to do that is to build a quick filter and activate it while in the "Active Sprint" view. However, most people use the Fix Version to plan their releases. If your team is in control of the Fix version, it is most likely because they assign the exact release version at the end of the sprint.…
-
You can filter sprints by using openSprints() and closedSprints(). For example, the JQL query would be: AND Sprint in openSprints() But that will also include the issues in the current sprint, not only the "future" sprints but you could also add another portion to the JQL query to ignore the current sprints.

Hi Melissa First, don't worry about the Agile Add-on. See it as a layer on top of JIRA. Even if you start with an Agile project, you can create new issue types later on. It is just a starting point that makes sense with regards to the Scrum methodology. In my company, we try to create one JIRA project per product/project.…

We did plan to offer a cloud based version but someone else released a similar version which is available on OnDemand instances. Therefore, we decided to postpone the development for a while ... maybe indefinitely. Sorry for the inconveniences.
-
Hi Fernando, Developping a OnDemand version of the plugin was in the plans but the OnDemand API which need to be used to develop the plugin missed some important functions. So, I cannot really tell you when it will be available.

Hi Chris, Like @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] mentioned, Checklist is simply a customfield and as such you should be able to add it to a subtask. Yves
-
You may want to take a look at the Checklist Add-on.
-
Hi Nishant, If I understand correctly, you want the checklist to change based on the workflow transition, not only verify if the checklist is complete. As Rahul mentioned, you will need the help of a third party add-on to do this. You may also want to take a look at Checklist but I don't think you will be able to change…

Personally, yes, functional requirements should be written as acceptance criteria within the issue. Best way to get the team to ensure they are all executed is to put them in the team's workflow. The team is using JIRA to track their work so put the acceptance criteria there as well. If you document them somewhere else, it…

Hi, If you would like to have a little bit more control over the process you could use an add-on such as Checklist. It provides a simple syntax to create a list of checkbox items and also has the capability to insert the Checklist into the workflow.
-
Yes, this was possible with the Classic Board but not with the new Rapid Board. However, when the right-side panel is opened, you just need to click on the task to see its details. It is not that bad when you start using it.

Thanks Jean! Just to let you know, I am currently developping Checklist V3 which will have a much better User Experience similar to the Kanoah one but better :-
-
You may effectively remove the add-on and try to re-install it. Also, did you try with a blank project to see if it is the same behavior. I am as lost as you as the cause for it not to function. You are the first one to report the validator not functioning. However, looking at the error logged, it does not come from…
-
Hi Jean, I just tried the validator in JIRA 6.4.7 and its works as expected. Sorry if this sound stupid but did you: * Publish your workflow? (It happened to me so many times ) * Is the published workflow applied to the project? * Are you triggering a transition on which the validator applies to? * Are some items in the…
-
Hi Jean, What version of JIRA and Agile are you using? I will try it out but it has always worked before. Also, do you use the validator for a specific workflow state? Yves
-
Hi, The issue has been raised by another user and we are currently trying to resolve it. Take a look at that thread. I have also posted a new beta version with a fix in there that you could try on a test instance. Yves

Hi, The Checklist add-on was designed to indent the text when the checkbox text would span more than one line in order to improve readability. However, it seems that this is not sufficient in your case. It is currently impossible to control the spacing between the checkbox items but I have added this request to our…

Unfortunately, Checklist isn't available for OnDemand customers and I am not aware of other solutions that meet these requirements and that are OnDemand friendly.
-
You may also want to check out a JIRA add-on called Checklist. It is perfectly suited for Acceptance Criteria
-
Hi Narek, After installing the add-on, did you create a Checklist customfield? If you did and have not put any default value in it, it will only appear on the issue detail view if it as value in it. All customfields work this way. Click on the edit button, add an item and it will then be available on the issue detail view.…
-
Hi Iyald, If I remember correctly, when the issue is cloned so is the checklist. However, you added tags for jira-cloud. Checklist is not available for the cloud. Only the server version.
-
Hi Dennis, Unfortunately, Confluence is using its own rendering engine. It simply takes the data from the column and renders it itself. Since the rendering logic is on the JIRA side, you will never be able to have the same visual output. Yves
-
Hi Dennis, Checklist does output a checkbox in all views except for Excel and XML export. So my guess is that the Confluence integration is actually stripping those away. You can also see in your image that Confluence replaces the line breaks with " \ " to separate the items (something that Checklist doesn't do at all). I…

Hi Piyush, While it is possible to search for items which are checked or not, it is not currently possible to search based on a specific status. Regards
-
Hi Tomasz, Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get notified about the new post. You can remove the global items from the Custom Field Configuration page. Once there, select options and you will be able to remove it from there. Regards, Yves
-
Hi Harold, I looked at the code for JIRA Suite Utilities and, as with most workflow post function operators I have seen, they expect the value from the customfield to be a string which is not the case with Checklist. So far, the only reliable way for updating a checklist is via groovy (see this answer). I am currently…

For your information, there are other similar add-ons which are cloud enabled.

Hi Constantin, There are no short term plan to make Checklist available to the cloud platform. Regards, Yves
