Hi @Marco B_ , Thanks for letting us know. We have release a brand new version just before the end of the year with new documentations. You way also want to take a look at this page to see potential use cases that can be accomplish with Checklist.…

Hi @FORFIRM ITALIA SRL , We're the maker of Checklist for Jira. If you are opened in acquiring paid Apps, it's quite easy to do. * You create a Checklist custom field and associate it's context to the issue type that you need. E.g. "Hardware" * You then add a Workflow Validator to block the transition unless all items in…

Hi @Alissa Chellis , As for cloning the Acceptance Criteria, we have an import function that allows you to import checklist items from another issue. In this case you could import from the cloned issue. We do have in our backlog, to do that automatically but for the moment, you'll have to do it via the Import Feature.…

Hi @Gokila , On which platform are you: cloud or om-premise (server/data center)? We're the maker of Checklist for Jira. The on-premise version completely supports your use case via Workflow Functions and custom fields context. The cloud version also support the each project requirement and will soon be able to support the…

Hi, We're the maker of the Checklist for Jira app. Our app offers a very powerful workflow function where you can control the checklist items during a transition. So, if you want to automatically mark items in a checklist when you close an issue, then we do support that. If what you are looking for is to close and issue…

Hi Tanu, You don't really mention which Checklist plugin you are using but if it's Checklist for Jira, you can find more information and a few examples here: https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC/pages/1607368705/Manipulating+Checklists+using+Groovy+Scripts Cheers,

Hi, A lot of people do that with ScriptRunner but I'm not sure with Automation as this is not a simple multi-line text field. However, we do have a great mechanism for that with Workflow Functions. Take a look at it to see if it fulfills your needs:…

Hi Jody, In fact it was about two years ago. You can find more information about the different JQL functions here: https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC/pages/270565415/Searching+for+Checklists Regards,

Hi Corey, Not sure if it could suite your use case, but you can restrict the Checklist edition by setting Edit Roles in the checklist configuration. Only those with the role could delete/edit the items while others could check them. Yves

Hi, This is not really a bug. The pie chart gadget relies on simple fields (text, integer, etc) to create the slices. Checklist being a complex data structure, it has no ideas on how to interpret it so it doesn't show it. You don't mention how you wanted the pie to be sliced but that would most likely require a special…

Hi Jonathan, David has described what needs to be done when you get a hold of the custom field value.
-
Hi Jonathan, Checklist for Jira here. When you say: ChecklistItem Interface and wondering how to iterate over the checklist Do you have access to the custom field value? If so you can iterate over it as it's simply an array. I know that it's doable with ScriptRunner but you said that you don't have that.

Can you give an example of what you used to be able to do? Because I checked in a Next Gen project and links are functional.
-
Hi, While you can use URL in a checklist item, you cannot attach an image to it.
-
Hi, On Cloud, you can manually clone the checklist via the Import functionality.
-
I Wayne, I think that there are different possible solutions to your problem. You could create different Checklist Custom Fields for the different checklist types and then configure their context to only appear on the projects/issue types that you want. Also, you could use the Checklist Workflow Function to pre-populate…

Hi Pete, The link was pointing to our old documentation. I fixed it so you should be able to access the page now. Yves

Hi Jimmy, I noticed that you seem to have a rather old version of Checklist. We have released a new version with much more elaborated workflow functions and conditions. You may want to check it out in case something help you out.…

Hi Atul, If you want to create a checklist, you should create a customfield and derive from a GenericTextCFType. Then you simply create whatever internal format you want as long as it's text based. JSON would be a good one but you can use XML, YAML, etc. Start by following this tutorial:…

@Sergey Temchenko, a big thanks for posting this out! Saved me a lot of energy browsing Jira's API and figuring it out by mylself. I was on a tight deadline :-)
-
@Clement Oh, Atlassian is currently in Beta testing for integration of third parties into the new issue view. So it should be available shortly.
-
Hi Clement, Sorry, I seemed to have missed your post because it was not tagged with the add-on. Were you able to resolve the issue? Regards,
-
If someone is interested into beta testing it, please contact us :-)
-
Just to let you know that the next release of Checklist (late March or early April 2018) will have a view to edit the checklist directly from the details view. Go tired to wait for a fix to come :-)
-
Hi Cristina, These enhancements were pushed to the add-on in subsequent releases. I'm looking into what may have changed.
-
Ok, got it now. You do know your Jira :-) I will add this to my backlog as well. Thanks!
-
Hi Dawid, Must admit that I'm little bit confused. The resolution field has values such as "Fixed", "Won't Fixed" etc. It's the status that changes to "Resolved" or "Closed". Also, the problem is that I cannot know which workflow is associated to which Customfield thus the "RegEx" approach. As for the Agile Card, thanks…

Hi Dawid, I could not answer last night, the question was marked as spam :( Probably because of the script which seems to have been stripped off. If you want to send me the script, you can do so by sending it at our email (info 'at' okapya '.' com) I have built Checklist because I wanted to support similar cases as what…

Hi Dawid, Sorry, but from my side of things (Checklist), I have no experience with Scriptunner or Groovy. Hopefully someone else can chip in. Yves
