Just for future reference, there is a JIRA add-on called Checklist that allows a team to track their acceptance criteria in a checkbox form. It also offers a validator that prevent issue transitions until the criteria are validated.

Maybe you could use Epics instead. Epics can cross boundaries. If you want user stories, then you will have to clone it. What we do is we have a project called "Epics" with only Epics in it. Then the Agile boards for the other project link to the "Epics" project and can then see the Epics. They then assign user stories and…

I believe that this can be accomplished via a dashboard gadget. If you use the Classic Agile Gadget, you can create a filter for a specific sprint and individual. The gadget should then show you the burndown for that particular filter.

Honestly, your question is rather vague. Don't know if it will help but the icons provided by Atlassian's product can be found in their AUI library https://docs.atlassian.com/aui/latest/docs/icons.html

In the Agile methodology, a Story should follow the INVEST mnemonic and should aim to be as independant as possible. Now, if that is impossible, the order of the product backlog should give you the dependencies you need. If A has to be done before B, then A should be higher than B. Finally, if you really looking for a way…
-
Hi Ninad, Don't know if it can be done otherwise but you will not be able to do it with the Checklist add-on as it doesn't support this use case. Yves

Hi Amanda, In order to display the Checklist in the Agile Board detail view, you need to create another customfield from the "Checklist Read-Only Proxy" customfield type. This new type is installed with the Checklist Add-on. Configure the proxy customfield to point to your Checklist and than the Proxy customfield will be…

Hi Pavel, Which version and JIRA and Checklist are you using? I remember protecting the add-on in that function a while ago.

Hi @codecentric, Really sorry for the late reply. I missed your question (sometimes I do not get all the notifications). You can actually restrict who can add/remove items to the checklist in the issue view. You can do this by creating a new role (or using an existing one) and then selecting it in the "Edit Roles" option…

I know it is an old post but for future reference, the Checklist add-on does exactly this: * Display the checkboxes in both Edit and View modes * Can prevent a workflow transition based on what selected

Hi Steven, I think that I now better understand your workflows. In our workflow, we do break a story or task apart in sub-tasks; so to me this approach is natural. Before you throw away the subtask approach ... I suppose that you don't need to break apart the 1000 tickets now. Can it be done when you actually tackle the…
-
Hi Steven, I feel there are some important info missing to give you a very useful answer, especially when you say that you need a complete estimate ... but I will try. Subtasks are effectively most useful when you break your story into tasks during the sprint planning. When the sprint begins, then every team member takes a…

Hi Wesley, We have decided a while ago to not make Checklist Cloud enabled. We are currently reassessing this decision but if we are too, it will take some time. If you look for "checklist", you will see that other similar plugin are available for the cloud but not with the same UI of feature set.

Hi MW, It is possible to add links to a checklist item but only those that are available to all the issues and that are created from the CustomField Configuration Options page in the admin section. The reason is for security purpose. Allowing links in a checklist item created at the issue level is a vector for a XSS…

Hi Darryl, Unfortunately, there are no short term plans to migrate to cloud instances. A cloud version could not exactly replicate the current add-on functionality. Regards

Hi Jeremy,The add-on you are referencing is not the same as the one mentioned in the question. However, both are server versions. If you are on the cloud, this add-on seems to do it for the moment:https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.gebsun.plugins.jira.issuechecklist

I know it is late to answer but for future references ... $displayParameters.defaultScreen is set to true when you are editing the default values of a customfield in the admin section. I use it to toggle the visibility of controls that I don't want to display while in that view. As for the other ones, I cannot say for sure…

When people estimate a backlog, they should be using triangulation to compare a story with another and determine if it is smaller, or bigger, or twice as big and so on. They should use relative estimates. Let say for example that they have estimated many 3 story points user stories in the backlog. The first one takes 30hrs…

Hi James, You might want to take a look at this add-on: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.okapya.jira.checklist

Hi, You see the normal behavior. Only a subset of the fields in the Detail View can be inline edited. You can follow issue GHS-7893 for details.

Hi Lisa, The Checklist plugin uses the standard JIRA tables for custom fields to store its data. As such, if the plugin fails to work, the data should be safe as long as nothing else corrupts the database. In fact, it is as safe as using any of the standard JIRA multi-select field. I hope this answers your question but if…
-
Hi, It is not currently possible to search by statuses but it's near the top of the backlog. You could search via a database query ( CUSTOMFIELDVALUE table) but the data is stored in a json object which makes it more difficult to find.
-
Hi Sorin, It seems that you have read the proper documentation to configure GreeHopper. Our teams use story points but if your teams prefer time, then just set the Estimation Statistic to "Original Time" and don't forget to enable the Time Tracking option as well. This way, when your team takes on a new story, they just…

Toni, The Activity tab will only show that a user made a change to the Checklist while the History tab will give you the exact modifications: who changed what items (see image). If you don't see anything in the History tab then there is a problem. We could continue this exchange via emails and we can repost the solution…

Hi tecadmin, It is not entirely clear which Checklist plugin you are refering to. Is it this one? If so, the history should show which changes were made to the Checklist. If this is the plugin, then let me know and I will help you troubleshoot it. Regards

Hi Derek, Sorry for the very late reply on this one. From times to times, it seems that I do not receive the questions even if I am watching the tag for my add-on. Another customer just raised that issue to me via email yesterday. I have investigated and for security reasons HTML escaping is active on my add-on. I have…

Hi Andy, Checklist comes with a Searcher that can be use in the standard JIRA search page. With this searcher, you can effectively look for specific checklist items. You can find more information at the following link: http://okapya.com/checklist/searching-checklist Would that be good for you? Otherwise, you can…

Hi Jason, The optional items will be italicized only if you configured to field to do so. By default, optional items are not italicized. To turn the configuration on, read the Configuring a Checklist help topic. You want to enable the Emphasize Mandatory Items option. HTH

Issue has been fixed in version 2.1.0.

It used to be possible in the classic board but I don't think you can do that now in the new Rapid Boards. However, you can customize the Issue Detail View and when you click on a card it gets displayed on the right-side. So to me, this is as good as having it inside the card.
