Hi Casey, I see, that field is most likely a custom field, so the search possibilities are based on the type of the field. Usually something like this should work: TIMECODE = "ATIMECODETOSEARCHFOR" If that doesn't work, would you be able to let us know which type of field it is? You can find the type of the field in JIRA…

Hi Arun, I've found another question which is very similar and already has an answer posted: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-can-I-copy-clone-a-page-family/qaq-p/295878#M50063 Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Rosalia, Unfortunately this is how boards work. A board is not particularly linked to a project or one component within a project. This is all handled through the Board Filter which could result in issues from one or multiple projects to appear. The Create Issue screen (through 'C' or via the Create button at the top)…
-
Hi Dmitrijs, I was just able to reproduce your issue after removing all my Boards. Please make sure you have access to at least one board by going to the Boards section of your JIRA. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Dmitrijs, Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce it on my local JIRA (v7.7.1) and I don't find any related fixes in the release notes. Could you try again and take a look in the logs of JIRA? On the other hand, it does look like you're trying to add the gadget to the System Dashboard, can you also verify that you are…
-
Hi Dmitrijs, From the screenshot I would guess you're on JIRA Server? If yes, which version are you running? Best, Maarten

Hi Maria, Thanks for doing some research and looking at other questions already. I just gave it a try on my 7.7.1 instance and that does seem to work as expected. The Field Configuration that you've adjusted, is that assigned to a Field Configuration Scheme. A Field Configuration Scheme basically says which Field…

Hi Ilyes, You'll need to take a look at JIRA's Global Permissions which are being used to add certain groups to the project role of every newly created project. You might need to go through all your projects and remove the jira-users group (or any other group containing the external users) from the project roles. Please…

Hi Jorge, I'll give your questions a try: * Unfortunately as far as I know, there's no way to configure new JIRA Customers to be created in anything else than the JIRA Internal Directory. Where would you want them to be created anyway? * Users known in Crowd (or any other User Directory) are able to login in the JIRA…

Hi Sehrish, You'll have to enable the Parallel Sprints option for you JIRA instance. The instructions are in the documentation for either Cloud or Server. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Daniel, I guess the epics you are missing have been created in a different project than the board is configured to show right? The board only shows issues (including epics) that match the filter configured for the board. If you'd like epics of a different project to be shown on your board as well you should add…

Hi Andrew, Normally, the user who needs to approve the request should be able to open the request itself to view all the details. Is that not possible in your case? Are you on Server or Cloud? Best, Maarten

Hi Roger, I know, it does take a while finding your way around in the new UI. I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for but I guess it's the following page: https://<YOURSITE>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/TimeTrackingAdmin.jspa Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Sathish, Looks very similar to the syntax on Server (except for the serverId). :-) There's a list with all macro's but that does not contain all technical values: Macros. On the other hand, the list of macros also differs depending on the installed addons. If you'd like to see a list of all macros in use on your…

Hi Safee, Thanks for the info. Can you make sure they add you to the site-admins group? This is the only group granting you permissions to the Site Administration, including User Management. Best, Maarten
-
Correct, just tested on my local instance by changing it's default language to Russian and I was able to reproduce the issue. Thanks Ivan!
-
Hi Safee, You should get access right away. Can you please specify if you're on Cloud or on Server? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Sathish, Confluence pages are basically some sort of html containing special snippets of Confluence Markup. If you'd like to add a JIRA macro you could use the following snippet of Confluence Markup in your POST body: <ac:structured-macro ac:name="jira" ac:schema-version="1"> <ac:parameter…

Hi Abeeha, The dashboard is customizable with multiple gadgets and endless possibities so it's very hard to tell you a particular thing you'd like to see on the dashboard. If you're looking for particular use cases (fe.: I want to see Sprint Progress) we should be able to tell you whether or not it is possible and maybe…

Hi, I've just tested on a fresh installed JIRA v7.7.1 + JSD v3.10.1) but had no problems creating the project. Which plugins have been installed on your instance? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Eric, It's a client side error you're getting. I just checked on my JIRA 7.7.1 and my Kanban backlog works perfectly fine. Can you please clear your cache or try another browser just to make sure JIRA isn't using an older version of the frontend sources? A second option is described in a Knowledge Base Article. It could…

Hi, Can you please let us know if you're using JIRA Cloud or JIRA Server, if it's Server, please also specify the version. Best, Maarten

Hi Elaina, I'm not sure if you're on Server or Cloud but I do believe on Cloud they've released the ability to user Markdown (which uses # for headings) while on Confluence they're still using their own syntax. I know this is confusing and let's hope they'll make sure it works the same in both applications. The same goes…

Hi Gabriel, I'm not a JIRA Cloud specialist but as far as I can see and could test this is currently not possible. I've found a feature request that looks similar to your question. You can vote and watch to receive updates if anything changes: CLOUD-8451 Best, Maarten

@Michelle - The one in Amsterdam took place a few days ago and I joined the session. The focus is entirely on Team work but they do share some updates about all their products. If you'd be looking specifically for best practices around Confluence I guess you would be disappointed. I would recommend having a look at the…

Hi Dave, I wasn't completely sure if you were on Cloud or not. OnDemand is the old name and hosted is usually used for those of us that use Confluence Server. Knowing you're on Cloud the Cloud specific issue would be more interesting to watch and vote: CONFCLOUD-34088 Best, Maarten

Hi Casey, I'm afraid I do not entirely understand your question. Do you need to search for issues that are created/updated/resolved/... at a certain time? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Shannon, I did some testing and I get a "Access Denied" when I try to add labels to someone else's question as a normal user. When I enable "Reputation Based Permissions" in the Confluence Question settings, normal users with a reputation of 100+ can change labels of others. Maybe that could help?! Best, Maarten
-
Hi Shannon, Unfortunately not. A topic is in fact a label and vice-versa. Best, Maarten
