@Torben_trello , Is there a public board for Trello backlog items like we have for Jira? Would be good to share with the OP how they can officially send in a feature request rather than posting here. :)

My favorite is Atlassian Summit ;) Work conferences aside, my family and I attend QuakeCon every year in Dallas, and I have been attending consecutively since 2002. QuakeCon is a huge event were ~3000 people bring their full gaming desktops and setup for 4 days of non-stop 24/7 gaming action at North America's largest LAN…

Sure! I don't see any contact info in your profile, can you let me know where to send you the details? These is the agenda items: * Jamie Echlin (creator of ScriptRunner) and his team will hold a hands-on workshop from noon to 5pm * You will learn new ScriptRunner tips & tricks - such as how to make the most out of the…

Feel free to cross post in the Dallas group!

I would take a hard look at Structure for Jira. It doesn't produce the prettiest roadmap, but the gantt add-on will build one, and the automation options it has are hands down the best. Easy Agile Roadmaps looks pretty nice, but doesn't have a lot of options. Simple Version Roadmap is extremely basic, and you will need to…

That's horrible about the bugs! Your bump reminded me to come post my 2019 Swag pic from this year's summit. :) Had to go with "one of everything" for this year. The rest of the extras that were taken back to the Dallas Community can be seen below. :)

Great event! Love that we're reaching so many fresh faces :)

Can't wait Roopa! Do you want to list your questions here so we can research anything we don't already have in our heads?

Opening keynote is always the highlight of the event for me. Atlassian does such a great job of inspiring me to be a better human. Outside of that, the Leaderboard race this year was EPIC! I absolutely loved that we were able to close out on an intentional tie, and that so many people enjoyed the back and forth…

Try going under the "customers" panel in the Service Desk agent view. If you manually add their email into the "customers" section, then it should grant access for that specific desk. A lot of people have groups to auto-fill this, but if you are not adding groups, then this may be your step. Users also get auto-added here…

My team is trying to register for the Silicon Valley event, and it's telling them that this is by invite only and to contact our Rep. Is this open to the public and there is just a bug or should this not be in the community?

In our team, we make time to schedule frequent high bandwidth conversations. Before we begin talking, we first assess ourselves via the Marcus Buckingham strengths based assessment program so that everyone can come prepared with techniques for working with different personalities. We then allow people a free and open space…

@shaefferpatrick , The subject of this post states that this ends in December, so I don't believe that pinning this post will bring you any attention. Could you please make a new post with current information that we can pin to help you promote?

Jira would have to be my favorite just based on how flexible it is and how many different things you can accomplish with it. Trello would probably be next as it's my go to for anything I need to jot down and organize quickly, and Confluence would round out my top three for being a great starting point to task assignment,…

I'll take March 29th, 2 days after my birthday!

Awesome! Would you mind accepting this answer?

Why bump? This was answered in 2015.

This is in the setup wizard when establishing a new Service Desk, and is on the "Request Types" screen in the admin panel for the project. https://confluence.atlassian.com/get-started-with-jira-service-desk/create-service-desk-request-types-917968307.html

Our team previously had no change management tracking procedures. We implemented a Change Request issue type and an approval workflow that would allow any person on the team to approve a CR. This was done in order to introduce a process without creating a burdensome gate that users were unfamiliar with, and allow us to…

Love to see TEAMS coming together. :)

Thank you Nic! I had the first bullet done, but not the second. Once I did that and re-indexed, everything was perfect!

HAHA, I dunno, I usually try to get in on all the swag topics :)

I LOVE SWAG. (pics to prove below.....) The things that stick with me the most are things I can use every day. My favorite items have probably been unique, multi-purpose chargers/adapters and pint glasses. On me right now, I am wearing an Atlassian shirt, and have a community pop socket on my phone, a usergroup pin on my…

I have a similar experience as Alex, however I had another cool one that I wanted to share. Recently I had an issue with my membership ID with the Boy Scouts of America. I went to send them an email to get some help, and almost immediately began working with someone through a Jira Service Desk ticket! I was honestly…

My previous response was for Black Friday shopping, so we'll see if I remember to plan more effectively next year ;)

@Vasiliy Zverev, This had no change from my previous script after running. The issues are created and still have no watchers. Also, my exception is still not being written to the logs. Also - WatcherManager watcherManager = ComponentAccessor.getWatcherManager() errors out as "Unable to resolve class WatcherManager", so I…

I want to thank everyone for their replies so far. I'm not really looking for someone to do the work for me, but rather to explain what I am not understanding and point me in a new direction. Thanos, your explanation of doAfterCreate makes total sense now, thank you!
