Those IPs seem to belong to Amazon Web Services. Did you monitor specifically on the JIRA process or the whole system?
-
Certainly (I wish there was a way to upload images here) So here's an example of a broken table as one might see in Confluence 3.X, which occurs pretty frequently especially when new users start editing tables. When imported into Confluence 4, I don't seem to have a way to repair this by filling in the missing cell.s

That's a great tip on using a user macro. I think I'll try that out instead of the DB search/replace method since it's less destructive.
-
Hi Lilian, if this was a simple single drop down list, this could be easily done via JIRA's post-functions using one of the methods "copy value from" plugin: Since this is multi-level, you'll likely have to do some customization to cleanse the value as it's stored internally a little differently. The easiest route I can…

To do it safer, how about use Bob Swift's Crowd Command line client? https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/wiki/display/CRDCLI/Crowd+Command+Line+Interface You can probably script something using it. I suspect the automatic default group memberships only work when users sign-in for the first time when the user account…

I split my FishEye install folder and FishEye data folder into two separate locations to make upgrades easier. The SSH keys are stored here: FISHEYE_DATA/data/auth/ Make sure when you upgrade, those keys are on your new version.

Thanks BetsyW. This will save me a bunch of time!

I created a bug report here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-32806

I asked a similar question recently and used the metadata plugin. It doesn't capture across table rows so you have to meta-tag each cell. I wouldn't describe what I did as simple however.

You want to peek at how long those REST API requests take. Generally if they finish pretty quickly (less than a second), there's not too much concern. But if all the requests come in concurrently, and are also slow requests, then it's trouble. Here's a command you can issue to sort by slowest REST call. It'll list who…

Hi Septa, this is not the behavior I'm seeing. The user has no content created (no personal space too), but the sync does not remove the user.
-
Yes, I already tried forcing a manual sync. No dice.
-
It's not supported doesn't mean it won't work. Have you tested it?
-
Lol, I wonder how long this would take to reproduce if I clicked the refresh button. JIRA uses jcaptcha so I imagine if you have some developer resources, you can tone down the cussing using these tips here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2555966/is-there-a-way-to-filter-out-offensive-words-from-jcaptcha

Did you or someone hide it via the GreenHopper Labs settings? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/GreenHopper+Labs
-
Thanks for the answer Nick. I'll see what I can do to customize our GreenHopper to display subtasks for now. :-)
-
Actually, after playing with Metadata plugin some more, and reading the version 1 documentation, it actually does do exactly what I need.
-
I was able to get this working using the scaffolding plugin on its own using only the macros {text-data} and {get-data}. However, there are some disadvantages I'm learning about this. 1. My data is not saved in the wikitext itself so I have no revision history 2. Users have a two step edit process which may confuse them…

A basic start would be to follow these steps on how to construct a URL to create an issue: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA051/Creating+Issues+via+direct+HTML+links If you're just providing a static link to the same project each time, then it's pretty simple. If it's more interactive, your script may need to…

Woops, I should clarify, this is a space page template...not a velocity template file.
-
Sorry, I misread your question. The alias is not predictable in your situation. :-(
-
How about Crowd Alias? The creation of the Alias is not done by the user however, but since it's predictable in your situation, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

You can add any column you want. There's a tutorial here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Tutorial+-+Adding+a+Column+to+a+Rapid+View

You didn't actually try to visit localhost:8080, right? You need to replace localhost with the external IP address of your Amazon instance. Your Amazon management console should be able to reveal the true IP.
-
Maybe it's a performance bug? You ought to contact Support and see if they can help you narrow down the issue based on the error you're posting.

Hey teapot, use the JIRA Toolkit Multikey Searcher field: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/wiki/display/JTOOL/JIRA+Toolkit+Plugin
-
Hmm, I'd be careful with this one. There's a Label named "Label" which is a system level field. To rename a system level field, you might want to look into customizing JIRA Text. How this affects JQL searches is an unknown to me. For all other Labels that are custom fields, you can easily rename them under Custom Fields.…

The official docs for setting up a flag is here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Configuring+your+General+Project+Settings#ConfiguringyourGeneralProjectSettings-flaggingfield On our JIRA instance, I've configured the flag value with "Impediment." Only one value is needed...GreenHopper can really only utilize…

Thanks Sarah, but it doesn't quite work because I need to allow users to restrict pages. I just don't want them to remove restrictions on another page that they didn't author. For example, I have a very private document and a user can accidentally just add confluence-users to the View permissions without my knowledge. But…
