May I ask if VT is the issue's reporter or assignee?
-
Thanks for the reply. As @John Funk mentioned, this is the board, not a dashboard gadget. The users who are already assigned an issue (and Unassigned if there are unassigned issues) are seen in that section to filter against them.

Our special night was Friday. We would first watch a TV series, and at midnight there used to be a horror movie which I used to watch with my elder sister.

Hi @Roberto Gusmeroli Which dashboard gadget are you using? The exact name (and a screenshot if possible) would be great.

Hi @jdredd34 Welcome to the Community! Here are the steps I'd do. - Create a rule with a trigger: Issue Created - Add a JQL condition * JQL Query: issueLinkType = "Clones" (or "is cloned by" or similar to them) - Add an Action: Assign the Issue * Specify user - User who triggered the event Add an Action: Edit Issue *…

Hi @Michał Matysiak Welcome to the Community! Unfortunately, I don't think there is an out-of-the-box solution or a one-size-fits-all app that can generate the comprehensive report you're seeking. The best approach is to develop a custom script or standalone program that utilizes the Jira REST API to extract and…

Hi @Roman Kirchmeier Welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing the code. However, for readability and to help others assist you better, it’s always a good idea to format your code properly before posting. I recommend pasting your code using "code block" under formats and ensuring it's well-formatted before posting.…

Hi @Ramya Srinivas You can achieve this using Automation and Workflow Condition With Automation create a rule which checks subtasks and sets a flag field in the issue * Set the trigger to Issue Updated and select the transition that moves the Story to Done status (or Closed or any status in your system meaning Closed). *…

Hi @vincenzo.spatafora As you know, there may be multiple child issues, and that's why .subtasks returns a list of issues. Therefore, you have to use get(0) if you are sure that there is at least one subtask. {{issue.subtasks.get(0).comments.getFromEnd(1).body}} If you have multiple subtasks and want to get the second-last…

Cool!

Hi @Daniela Samsonov Could you please provide some additional details? What are the exact steps you're taking when the error occurs? Are there any notable differences between the projects where the error occurs and those where it doesn't? For example, differences in configurations, permissions, or installed add-ons. Do you…

Hi @Yong Xin Choon I'd suggest raising a ticket here for the fastest support.

You are more than welcome @Aisha M I'm happy to have been of help in any way.

It’s always nice to have a fresh start with new luggage. I never had my own suitcase when I was a kid either—I just used whatever was available or made do with my parents’ suitcase. I wish everyone a fantastic Thursday! 🌟

#ghx-issue-ctx-action-archive this is good, it's the id value :)
-
I'm glad you figured that out, @Aisha! That's great news. The impact of the script depends on the selector you use. For example, the script in the thread you mentioned (below I copied a snippet) uses an id (starts with #), and id values are unique, so it won't impact other HTML elements.…

Happy Wednesday! 🐾 I’d love to befriend an owl. They’re wise and I assume they could shed some light on how to survive.

Congrats!

Yeah, you can also perform that trick, but you need to check it every time you update Jira because they might change the CSS class or the identifier that you use to hide the web element.

Many thanks for the roundup @Jimmy Seddon

Hi @Michael Kornatzki I know gadgets and JavaScript in XML can be a pain in the neck. I usually use the following approach to dynamically retrieve select options via REST and fill the select component accordingly. I hope that helps. { userpref: "mySelect", id: "mySelectDiv", label: "Label", type: "callbackBuilder",…

Hello @Aisha M I could not find a better solution but to limit/restrict users as @Antoine Berry mentioned. Sorry!
-
Yeah, Looks like so :(
-
Hmm, that's bad news. I was thinking that it might have worked as an interceptor. Sorry, I wasn't helpful on this one. Let me think about it and write back if I find something useful.

Using a listener to prevent actions is the back-end solution. This listener will stop users from archiving or deleting an issue, whether they are using a UI button, a REST service, or any other method. You can remove the link from UI but users may still call the back-end service using REST or do some hacking via UI. Think…
-
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I think the actions that come with the board are not selectable in the fragment so I cannot offer any solution on this. I'm not entirely sure if this is a good approach, but you could create a listener that checks for the Archive action and prevents it when the issue's status doesn't meet…
-
Hi @Aisha M Thanks for mentioning me. Yes, you can hide the "Archive" and "Delete" options using ScriptRunner Fragments. - Go to ScriptRunner in your Jira instance. - Navigate to Scripted Fragments and create a new fragment - Select Hide UI element - select "com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issueoperations:archive-issue"…

First reversing the comments and then filtering out non-internal comments (not(internal)) will allow us to get the right order. If there is at least one comment, the first one will give us the correct comment. {{issue.comments.reverse.filter(not(internal)).first.created.jiraDate}}

Hi @Elizabeth Chen Welcome to the Community! If I did not get it wrong, here is what I'd do (at least start with) You can customize the Automation rule to post to Slack in a way that slightly resembles the standard notification. Automation > Create Rule and set up a Trigger with "Field value changed" for the "Priority"…
-
Hi @Diego Chen You can't do that with out-of-the-box Jira. But, you can achieve this using ScriptRunner if you are free to use an app. Add a ScriptRunner script validator for your workflow transition. The script will be similar to the one below, there might be some issues with the code but I trust it will be a good start.…
