Hello! This is a known issue in the current version of Sourcetree for Windows. It's currently fixed on our end and we'll be testing the next release in the upcoming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello! Could you make sure that you're using the latest version of the git-credential-manager-for-windows? Some of the older versions of the credential manager have issues storing credentials. Could you check and see if this issue also happens if you run the commands from the Terminal? * Click the "Terminal" button * Run…

Hello! It looks like from the screenshot that the Host URL is set to "htts" when it should be "https". Could you try that and attempt login again?

Hello! This is a known issue in the current release of Sourcetree for Windows. We're aiming to start testing the next release sometime soon (within a few weeks) that will address this. For now, you can work around this by renaming the folder of the repository. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello! This doesn't have much to do with Sourcetree itself, but you might want to look into a feature of git called hooks. Hooks allow you to listen for actions such as pull or push and then perform another action. You can find more info about hooks here.

Hello! Unfortunately Sourcetree doesn't currently support CodeCommit, however if we see enough demand for this we'd be happy to add it into a future version. Thanks!
-
Hello! This is not currently available in either the mac or windows version of Sourcetree, but we appreciate the suggestion 😊

Hello! I think this might be caused by the .gitconfig being configured for the system-wide git rather than embedded git. Could you try switching from embedded git to system git under Options > Git (or verify it's already using system git)?

Sorry about that! Could you verify the current file filter is set to the correct value? Try changing it to "All" and then change it back to "Pending": If files still do not show up, do the following: * Click the "Terminal" button in the repo * Run 'git status' * Reply back with the result of the command. If there's a ton…

I can only offer limited help on Mac issues, but could you try adding the account via "basic" authentication, and then use the Personal Access Token as your password rather than wait for the prompt? If that doesn't work, I'd recommend that you switch your repository to use the SSH URL, and add a SSH key to your github…

Looks like git-flow didn't initialize correctly -- the answer below should help you out (the config file is under YourRepo/.git/config). Find: feature = and make it: feature = feature/

Looks like it's not the account, but rather something wrong with the proxy configuration. Could you provide your current proxy configuration?

Hello! This is a known issue and has been fixed for the next release (3.2). I know it's a pain, but the only current work-around is to just rename the folder and re-add the repository. We're looking into possibly hot-fixing this issue -- I'll get back to you on that decision.

Hello! I'd recommend just re-generating your SSH keys and re-adding them to Github, etc. You can find pretty easy-to-follow instructions here. The instructions are for Bitbucket specifically, but the same process works for Github (you can add a new SSH key for Github here).

Hello! You can change the username + email used for commits by clicking on the picture on the commit screen. It should open a popup that will allow you to change it:

Hello! When creating a new repository, please make sure the folder layout looks something like this: * My New Repository* .git * (all the new amazing files you made) Don't put your files in the .git directory, and be sure to add the "My New Repository" folder to Sourcetree. Hit F5 to refresh the view and you should now see…

Hello! When installing Sourcetree the Bitbucket login step requires that the webbrowser after login can ping back to: http://localhost:34106 So as long as that port is open it should work fine. After registering you do not need that port to be open anymore: Sourcetree does not make any additional account check after the…

Hello! Could you report back with the following: * Switch back to the feature branch * Click the "Terminal" button * Run the command: git flow feature list * Reply with the resulting message Thanks!
-
Hello! As a work around the user should be able to also create the repository in Bitbucket itself, and then manually clone the repository using the URL in Sourcetree. Could you try the following? * Have the user remove all credentials from Sourcetree (Tools > Options > Authentication). Make sure the entries under "Git…
-
Hello! This is probably due to a non-default setting in Chrome, your local internet security settings, or possibly anti-virus. Could you try the following and see if any of them work? * In the URL, change 'https' to 'http' (something might be forcing it to use https) * Try changing the 'localhost' part to '127.0.0.1' and…

Hello! This is probably due to a text-encoding error (note the small 'CR' characters -- those are depreciated mac OS classic line-endings). Could you check the file encoding and line-ending settings used for those files? Additionally, if you run `git diff FILE_NAME` in the terminal does the result also look like that for…
-
Hello! We've removed Atlassian account login and you'll now need to login via Bitbucket (which I believe does support atlassian id anyways). Not sure why no text is showing up -- could you try disabling hardware acceleration for WPF and see if that helps? Thanks!
-
Could you give me the script + the settings in Sourcetree for the diff provider (I assume you're using the 'Custom' option)?
-
What's the error when you click "Details..." on the clone page? Have you tried removing and then re-adding the account "ashishagarwal1" in Sourcetree and then try cloning again?
-
What's the URL you're trying to clone? Could you provide a screenshot or the error message you're seeing?
-
Could you try the following? * Open Tools > Options * Go to "Authentication" and remove the Bitbucket accounts you're using (including the entries under "Git") * Then re-add your Bitbucket account by clicking Add * When adding the account, make sure the "Authentication" is set to "OAuth" and hit "Refresh OAuth Token" * Hit…

Hello! Which version of Sourcetree are you using, and which OS are you using (Windows, or Mac)?
-
Hello! It appears that the labview diff tool expects the absolute path for the files. Could you try the script here and see if it helps? Thanks!
-
Hello! Are you using Windows or Mac? Additionally, which version of Sourcetree are you using?
-
Hello! Sourcetree 2.0.20.1 uses Atlassian account for login, and is a no longer supported version. Please try using a newer version such as 3.1.3. Thanks!
