Hello! Not sure why this is happening as I haven't seen it before, but could you try toggling "Disable Libgit2" under Options > Git, and see if that helps? If you're not on the latest version, I'd also recommend upgrading as that may solve the issue as well.

Hello! If you'd like for someone to help you, you're going to need to provide some details about your environment: * Which version of Sourcetree you're using * Which OS you're using and version? * Git or Mercurial, and which version of either are you using? * Which provider you're trying to login to? What's the error…

Hello! This is most defiantly an issue with either your video-card drivers, your DirectX version, or some other issue related to that. Could you try the following? It's going to disable hardware acceleration for all WPF apps but may solve the problem: Set the following registry key to a DWORD of 1:…

Hello! This is currently a bug on our end, and is pretty tricky to reproduce in our debug environment. There's currently an attempt to fix this in the 2.5.5 update that's currently rolling out.

Sounds like the WMI service has a problem. Could you try the steps listed in this post? Thanks.
-
Hello! Could you post a screenshot of the 404 message? I'm a bit confused as to where it's being displayed. Thanks!

Could you try going to "Tools > Options > Authentication", remove all of the accounts, and then try pushing again? If that doesn't work, could you try installing the newest version of Git from https://git-scm.com/, restart Sourcetree, and then go to "Tools > Options > Git" and select "Use System Git", and then try again?…

Hello! When you get that login dialog, are you filling in your username and password? And does that dialog then prompt for a 2FA approval?

So there's something odd happening -- there's a lot of errors in the log file regarding invalid file permissions, and a null dispatcher. For now, can you try deleting your bookmarks file? It's located in: C:\Users\{USER_NAME}\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\bookmarks.xml

Sounds like git isn't in your system PATH. Could you try downloading and re-installing git?
-
Could you try and run the command from the command-line and see if that works? Just open the repo, click the "Terminal" button and try running "git pull" and see if it crashes.

Hello! While I'm not sure why 3-way merge isn't working anymore, you could probably try and verify the current settings for your merge tool by opening "C:\Users\{USERNAME}\.gitconfig" and looking for the "[mergetool "sourcetree"]" section. It should look something like this: <span>cmd</span><span> = </span><span>'{PATH TO…

Hello! I'll need a bit more details to help you. What operation system are you using, and could you be more specific about which previews you're referring to? Thanks!

Hello! So it sounds like something is wrong with your Git install. Could you try switching from "System Git" to "Embedded Git" (or vice-versa) in "Tools > Options > Git" and see if that helps? Thanks!
-
Hello! Everything should work fine if you click the first option.

Hello! I suspect this is an issue with the Git Credential Manager for Windows due to the fact that cloning from the command-line isn't working. Can you make sure you have the latest version of Git installed? If it doesn't work after updating, please refer to the project on GitHub for help. Thanks!

Hello! Could you try following the steps listed in this answer? Thanks!

Hello! The "Missing" icon means that the file was removed from your local repository/disk.
-
Hello! When cloning from Bitbucket, make sure you set the option to use HTTPS rather than SSH, which should prevent that from happening.
-
Hello! We don't currently have indicators in the UI for pull requests, but it's something on our roadmap for a future release. Thanks for the feedback!
-
Hello! This sounds like you're both on the same branch. You can verify which branch you're on from the indicator in the sidebar. If you're both on the same branch, you'll need to make a new branch to prevent this from happening (and when you're done with the work on that branch you'll need to make a pull-request to merge…
-
Hello! If you've right-clicked on a branch and merged it, the merge will automatically commit immediately if there are not any conflicts. If you do not want this to happen: use the "Merge" button in the toolbar which will bring up a more advanced dialog that will give you more options such as the ability to disable this…

Hello! Could you link the bugsplat report, or provide a log file please? You can find the log file here: C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\sourcetree.log

Hello! This is probably a bug: opening a repo from the "Open" file menu should also bookmark it, but it currently doesn't. To rename the tab and bookmark the repo for future use: * Open a new tab * Drag the repo folder from explorer into the the "Add a new bookmark or drag & drop..." area * Right click on the newly added…

Hello! This is a problem with our identity provider. I'll ping them and see if there's any issues. Thanks!
-
Hello! There isn't currently a way to do this. Sorry.
-
Hello! This may be because you're viewing a merge and the diff might be set to "Merge Parent" rather than "First Parent". Could you check and see if switching that changes anything? If that's not the problem, could you open "Tools > Process Viewer", then click on the file, and inspect the output and see if it's outputting…

Seems like the WMI Service is not working quite right. Could you try either restarting the Windows Management Instrumentation service, or restarting your computer? If that doesn't work, could you try the steps in this question? Thanks!
-
Hello! Could you see if a log was created? It should be in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\sourcetree.log". If that file does not exist, could you post the event-viewer log? * Run Event Viewer * Navigate to "Windows Logs > Application" or "Windows Logs > System" and try to find the log for Sourcetree,…
