Hello! This sounds like it could be an anti-virus issue. Can you try just running that same clone command, but from the command-line in the destination directory?
-
Are you using system git, or embedded git?
-
Hello! This is because we roll-out updates progressively by percent over time. You can read more about out release process here
-
Hello! This is probably because you're running an old version of git. It's recommended that you upgrade due to a security issue in the previous version.
-
Hello! Could you try downloading 2.6.6 and see if it solves your issue? Thanks!
-
Hello! This might have something to do with LFS -- are the merge file sizes very large? Does this only happen in this repo?
-
Hello! I think this issue is being caused by this issue, which was very recently fixed. Could you try using the version we just released and let me know if it fixes this? You can find it here
-
Hello! Sourcetree doesn't currently support doing this as we explicitly disallow external diff drivers for specific file types. However, I don't see why we couldn't support this as it's a pretty small change for us to make.
-
Hello! Could you upload your log file please? You can find it here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\sourcetree.log
-
Could you email me at (mcorsaro@atlassian.com) some additional info (a repo benchmark would help, Repository > Benchmark Repo Performance) so I can help with performance? Thanks!
-
Hello! This isn't a supported scenario, but it's probably due to the default internet explorer security settings on server 2016. I'd recommend trying the steps listed in this answer: https://stackoverflow.com/a/45063640

Hello! There's a few things you can try: * Make sure your video drivers are up-to-date * Try running Sourcetree in compatibility mode * Try running Sourcetree with overridden high DPI settings Do you have any other apps that have this behavior? Are you using a high-contrast theme or anything like that?

Hello! This seems like an issue with mintty -- maybe a corrupt install. Regardless, I encourage you to head over to their project as they will be more helpful than I can: https://github.com/mintty/mintty

Could you try manually downloading the current release: https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/ga/SourceTreeSetup-2.6.3.exe FWIW "dragging our feet" on this issue is quite the opposite of what we're doing. It's been a very difficult issue to debug as we don't have a reliable way to reproduce it.…

Try running: git pull --all in your terminal. You might find this thread helpful.
-
Okay. The following might work for you: * Try and clone from Sourcetree again, but under "Advanced Options" set "Clone depth" to 1 rather than 0 * If the repo clone works, and the repo opens, then you should click the "Terminal" button and run the following command: git fetch --unshallow

Could you set the log to debug level, try to login again, and then post the log? To do so, open: %localappdata%\SourceTree\app-{version}\log4net.config and set the threshold values to DEBUG (from ERROR). After doing that and uploading the log, make sure you reset that back to ERROR. Thanks!
-
Hello! Are you using OpenSSH, or Putty/Plink? To make sure that the SSH is auto-loaded, make sure "Automatically start SSH agent when Sourcetree opens" is checked under "Tools > Options".
-
Sorry one more thing I've noticed that happens sometimes: when you login and the password prompt opens -- is your username in the first textbox?
-
Could you post your sourcetree.log file? That might provide more information. You can find the log in the path: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\sourcetree.log
-
Got it. Odd -- okay so as a work-around you can still login using your Atlassian Account on the previous screen. For login, do you normally use "@blah.com" when you login via the Bitbucket Server website?
-
Hello! Can you try removing the "/bitbucket" part of your login? Additionally, does your username include a special character such as a @?
-
Hello! Did you setup a SSH key for that repo? You might need to re-add the key to Pageant. If you didn't setup an SSH key, then you'll probably need to. You can verify that the repo requires a key by logging into Bitbucket and checking your SSH key under your user settings. You can find more info about configuring an SSH…

Hello! Could you try the steps listed in the workaround in this post? https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/git-clone-fails-fatal-the-remote-end-hung-up-unexpectedly-fatal-early-eof-fatal-index-pack-failed-779171803.html Thanks!
-
Hello! Could you try running the clone command from the command-line? It looks like git might be crashing -- that "fast_import_crash_7560" in the ".git" folder might be worth looking into
-
Hello! Unfortunately this is not supported. However, you can always configure a custom action (Tools > Options > Custom Actions) to do this for you.
-
Hello! Could you try the latest version and see if this is still an issue? I'm unable to reproduce this issue on my machine. https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/ga/SourceTreeSetup-2.6.3.exe
-
Hello! It's not possible to currently do this but we'll make note of it. Thanks!
-
Odd. Not sure what else the issue could be -- the URL you use to access your repos should work just fine as the root URL for Bitbucket Server. As a workaround, you can also just sign-in using an Atlassian account on the previous screen.

Hello! It seems that master isn't merged into develop, but the line is showing that it's just branched from master? What's the log message for that commit?
