Hello! Can you make sure that the .Net Framework 4.7.2 is installed? Thanks.

We're going to be pushing a (relatively) big update in the next week or so to our beta testers that focuses around user authentication, so keep an eye out for that. It's very odd that you can't login to Bitbucket Server though. Could you try this alpha build and see if it addresses your issue? If possible, it would be…
-
Odd -- and when you use your Atlassian Account to login via that option it doesn't work either? Your Bitbucket Server credentials won't work with the Atlassian Account login, you'll need to use or register for an Atlassian Account.
-
When you visit via your browser, is it "http" or "https"?
-
The @ issue will be fixed in the next release, but for now it should work if you just replace the @ with a _

Hello! Could you try using a newer version of Sourcetree? 1.9 isn't officially supported anymore, and newer versions contain critical security fixes and performance improvements. Thanks!
-
Hello! Just to clarify: you're getting an access denied error from Git? If you're having issue with that, I'd recommend that you try using a ssh-key to authenticate. You can find instructions for doing that here.

Hello! Re: Bitbucket Server -- what's the URL that you're using for your hosted Bitbucket Server server? For Atlassian Account, could you try following the steps listed in this post? Thanks!
-
Hello! You're seeing this issue because you have changes in your code that conflict with the changes someone else made. You'll have to resolve those conflicts before you can push your changes. You can find more info about how to do this here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/resolve-merge-conflicts-704414003.html

Hello! We don't currently support a hard-reset, but I can make a ticket for it in our internal tracker. Thanks!
-
Hello! If you're on windows, you can do this by changing the "Re-open repository tabs at startup" checkbox in Tools > Options >General
-
Hello! Could you please do the following for me? * Modify a file and then switch back to Sourcetree * Open the Process Viewer (Tools > Process Viewer) * Manually refresh your repo by hitting 'F5' or by going to "View > Refresh" * In the Process Viewer window, select the log row that has the label "GetFileStatus" under the…

Hello! This might be a bit hard to figure out without the picture of the graph itself, but that "3 commits behind" might be referring to the ancestor order rather than the date order. Could you post a picture of the graph? Thanks!
-
Hello! This is probably happening because the configuration file isn't saving. Do you have any third-party anti-virus or anything that could be preventing Sourcetree from writing any files?
-
Hello! Hmm... that's interesting. Do you have the system scroll direction reversed? There isn't anything really special about the log view -- do all the other scroll areas in Sourcetree scroll the opposite direction as well?
-
Hello! Could you try disabling Libgit2 support under "Options > Git" and see if that does anything? Thanks!
-
Hello! Can you provide the full error message that's shown? Thanks!
-
Hmmm... could you reupload the recording as a mp4 or something that's not Flash? Thanks!
-
Hello! Could you try some of the workarounds listed in this thread? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Re-Can-t-install-SourceTree-due-to-login-problems/qaq-p/648803/comment-id/17299#M17299 Thanks!
-
Hello! Currently the enterprise MSI installer does not create a shortcut. Sorry for the inconvenience!
-
Hello! Could you tell me more details about the problem you're having? * How does update from remote branch break? Do you get any error dialogs? * How does merge break? Sourcetree doesn't handle merges by default (they're created by either Git or Mercurial). If you're having a hard time with them we allow you to configure…
-
Hello! Could you try removing all the accounts in the accounts page, restart Sourcetree, and then try and re-add them? It sounds like an old access token is being held somewhere.
-
Hello! This is probably an issue with the webview we use for authentication. Here's a link that might help.
-
Probably in the 2.7 release, which will be coming in the next few weeks.
-
Are you getting a bluescreen, or does your PC just restart without any error?
-
Just to provide an update on this one -- it's going to take a bit longer than expected due to xltrail not producing a standard git diff: * It ignores most diff command switches such as color formatting and mnemonicprefix * It outputs as if there are multiple files (which is OK), but doesn't add an additional diff header…

Hello! I've never heard of something like this -- but is there anything special about either of those computers? Anti-virus, or group policy setting, or anything like that? Do any other applications cause this to happen?
-
Hello! So Sourcetree on windows isn't an Electron app. Could you try opening Task Manager and see which exe that window belongs to? You should be able to view the details of that exe and see what path it's running from.
-
Hello! This is a bug -- but if you're looking for a specific repository the search function should return the correct results. Thanks for finding it!

Try downloading the latest version of Git -- you can check your git version in "Tools > Options > Git". The latest version is 2.17.1
