Hello! That's odd -- if you click on the merge commit is one of the parent commits listed the commit below it? It would help if I knew the SHA of both parents and the SHA of both commits. Thanks!

Hello! Is there anything special about these repositories? Are they on a network drive, or really big? Also, are they repos that I can download and see on my machine? It might help to try and disable libgit under Options > Git as some repos do not play nicely with it.

Hello! Which OS are you currently using?
-
Hello! You can disable SSL for git for Sourcetree under Options > Git. Not sure if it will help, but worth a try.
-
Hello! Could you check and see if there's a firewall rule or anti-virus that would be preventing your browser from communicating with localhost? Which browser are you currently using?
-
Hello! Could you try downloading the newer version of the git-credential-manager-for-windows? You can find it here. Alternatively, try downloading the newest version of git-for-windows and make sure the step to install the credential manager is checked (you'll also need to tell Sourcetree to use the system-wide git…

Hello! This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release. Sorry about that!

Hello! Are you sure it didn't create a shortcut on your desktop or start menu? The installer is pretty quick -- there isn't any options. If you like for it to install in a different location you can use the enterprise installer found here.

Odd -- if you click on the log row with "master" what's the commit SHA of that, and what is the parent commit SHA? Also, what's the commit sha of the "Fix compile warnings" row? If you enable remote branches, does the graph end up looking right?
-
Hello! This is a bit difficult to visualize -- could you post a screenshot to help me? Thanks!
-
Hello! This might just be a bug, but after doing the reset could you then navigate back to your Working Copy view and then hit F5 to refresh the view? Thanks!

So since I am using GitFlow which created both branches remotely and I am assuming is also tracked locally, does leaving it mixed or checked do the same thing in this case? Just want to be sure. If you're using GitFlow you probably don't have to worry about it. The mixed checkbox setting I believe will create the remote…

Hello! This is a known bug. As a work-around you can simply use the sidebar and browse for the branch under "Remotes". If you cannot see the branch try and run "Fetch" first. Sorry about that.
-
Hello! Could you try checking the "Show Remote Branches" checkbox at the top of the History view? I suspect you can't see those 10 commits because they are on the remote.
-
Hello! Looks like you don't have the right credentials for that repository. Do you see a login prompt when attempting to push? If not, could you try installing the git-credential-manager-for-windows, restart Sourcetree, and then see if you get a prompt?
-
Hello! This looks like it's a problem with the git server you're interacting with, so you might have better luck asking whoever runs it for help. However, if you need a work-around you can check the setting "Disable SSL certificate validation" under "Tools > Options > Git"

Hello! Sourcetree may be used for commercial purposes without needing to buy a license.

Hello! 1. The purpose of the Track option in the Push dialog Q: "Why does it check it on the master branch" A: When you check the box to push to the not-current-branch we assume you'd like to associate the tracking branch as well. For the current branch we already know if it's tracked, so we don't explicitly change the…

Hello! Could you set your default web-browser to something other than Internet Explorer and then try again? Is it possible that there's a IT policy that restricts traffic on localhost?
-
Hello! Have you added your username and password to Sourcetree? Do you get a prompt for a username+password? I'd also recommend using the latest version as we recently added support for TFS accounts. You can add TFS accounts via Tools > Options > Authentication.
-
Hello! Sounds like your issue might be similar to something like this? Could you run the push command via terminal, and then run the following to see the logs? git lfs logs last Thanks!
-
Hello! Could you provide more info about how it's not working? Does the app start?
-
Hello! This is 100% a bug (good catch!) and I will file an issue for it ASAP. It will be fixed for the next release (3.2) which should be rolled out in the next few weeks. Thanks for reporting this!
-
Hello! Could you ensure you have the latest version of the git-credential-manager-for-windows? It would also help to post a picture of the dialog (we have a few auth dialogs that can pop-up). Thanks!
-
Hello! Could you check which version of Sourcetree you're using? You can check under "Help > About". I assume you've been able to add the Github account just fine to Sourcetree?
-
Hello! It sounds like your git-flow config might be invalid. Could you post the contents of your 'config' file under "YOUR_REPO/.git"? It should look something like this: [gitflow "branch"] master = master develop = develop [gitflow "prefix"] feature = feature/ release = release/ hotfix = hotfix/ support = support/…
-
Hello! This might be an issue on our end but as a work-around just click the "Terminal" button and run the following command: git flow hotfix finish 1527-acceso-denegado Before doing that, could you run the command that will list the possible hotfix names for gitflow and reply with the results? git flow hotfix list

Looking at your log files, it appears that Sourcetree is getting an access denied exception when attempting to run git from your Program Files directory. It also appears that Sourcetree cannot run git from "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local\bin\git.exe" as well. That's fairly annoying...…

Hello! This is just how git handles merges. We don't currently have an option to disable display of merge commits but if it's something more users would like then we can consider adding that. Thanks!
-
Additionally, could you enable debug logging (follow the directions here for Windows) and then upload and link your log file (or email it to me @ mcorsaro at atlassian dot com) Thanks!
