Hi @aho It is common that you can not add a user to a group if they have never logged into Confluence before. I'm not sure if I have seen it by only adding them to a space, but I wouldn't be surprised if adding a user to a space is really just adding them to a group under the hood.

Hi @Hussein s I recommend downloading the latest version of MySQL connector and use it for your 9.2.1 instance. While the 5.1.46 may work, I would use the upgrade as an opportunity to patch all addons to the more latest supported versions.

Hi @Dartmouth Libraries You would need to add the new group to each space you want it to have edit rights to. Then, you can make it one of the default groups for new spaces going forward, and be sure to remove it when creating a more restrictive space.
