Thanks a lot, now I understand better - as soon the user clicks on "Screens" to change configuration this is not related anymore with the Field Configuration. This might sound confusing but is better to understand if you see the "Screens" link to be something that is something totally different in this step. Expected : In…

Hi @Justin Dye welcome to the Atlassian Community. I seem to have located some related information from knowledgebase but at this point I am unsure if they will match exactly your environment. You could clone the environment and test if the tips help - with a clone of your installation in a test environment.…

Hi @mutyala_satyaveni_intern welcome to the Atlassian Community! Seeing nobody relied to your question so far I looked into earlier posts in Community, it seems there was a similar question some time ago: * How to setup an Inline Python script…

Hi @Irshada_123 has reviewing the log, like touched by Craig already, showed something more meaningful? The error messages I seem to have understood you are getting back in browser - there could be a root cause better visible from logs. Please refer to the documentation to learn more about how to view log files of Bamboo:…

Hi @Biswajit Sahu I seem to understand you are not able to start your Bamboo installation correctly. Have you had a chance to check the logfile of Bamboo, yet? It might give an additional clue why it is not working as expected. * Logging in Bamboo https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/logging-in-bamboo-289277239.html…

Hi @Abhijit Deshpande I feel this is a very valid question but it might make more sense to direct this to Atlassian Support directly - you can raise a request with Support Team over here: https://support.atlassian.com/ Regards, Daniel

Hi @Hector Magnanao probably the conditional tasks in Bamboo are what you are looking for. Please check if this is suitable for your use case: * Conditional Tasks in Bamboo https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamkb/conditional-tasks-in-bamboo-1077907046.html Regards, Daniel

Hi @Bill Parlock lately I read about a bug, including a workaround which might, or might not, apply to your installation. Please check if it is related and let us know what you have found out: * Non system admin fail to delete environment or Deployment Project that have dedicated agent…

Hi @Chris Miller seeing every since and then reports about challenges with the integrated H2 databases I am wondering if it would make sense to migrate to a fully supported database prior to the upgrade. The H2 database is mostly involved in trial/evaluation scenarios, this might be why it brings not the most perfect…

Hi @Devendar Gangapuram the error message seems to be suggesting more information could be found from system event log - that means: using Event Viewer you could probably get more information. Have you had the chance to check if this holds true?…

"Cloud Migration Demo" was a great recap of all offerings Atlassian provides. This includes organizational offers like a support team for in-depth migration questions, but also solutions like migration tooling (Jira Cloud Migration Assistant). Also the explanation on additonal resources like the Atlassian Migration Center…

Hi @Sebastian Krzewiński I just wanted to share we got a Bug in JAC on that: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-73185 Nevertheless, I will accept our answer because the hint with the validator could be useful for others. Cheers, Daniel
-
Hi @Sebastian Krzewiński I agree - a validator could make sense here. Nevertheless the current handling seems to me not being consistent with what users see in user interface. Thanks for checking in =) Regards, Daniel

Hi @Thiago Vieira while being unsure if it is really what you are looking for (in terms of Jira vs. Jira Service Management) you could watch this video to get a first impression on what is possible in general: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIuvrYFT7q4 Regards, Daniel

For the "Countdown to Cloud" I am wondering how the system in the background will put a check on "Attend a Migrations-focused event in January". Commenting the article (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Cloud-Migration/Migrations-Month-is-here/ba-p/1895088) and a sign up for the Webinar did not make it tick off…

Hi @Shafeequr Rehman Mohammed generally speaking it >might< be easier to use a database like, for example, PostgreSQL than the integrated H2 database. Success on the H2 database varies, according to reports here in Community. It is reported to be fine in most cases for short tests but not for a production system.…

Perfect initiative! I really appreciate the ongoing efforts to make migrations easier and as transparent as possible to users and/or admins.

Hi @Roxanne Pashaei am I right you are referring to an App used in Bamboo? If not, could you please state exactly where you are seeing this kind of plugin? If possible please support via a screenshot. I was able to identify a documentation:…

Hi @Clifford Sanders this could be hard to pinpoint from the outside/from Community so I am only able to share some more generic information - the first attempt for diagnosing performance issues could be to follow the troubleshooting guideline. In case the issue is still current and you have not reviewed the information…

Hi @Matthew Hinkle Bamboo (as a project, not as in 'Server' like Nic already pointed out) is here to stay. Please also have a look at the roadmap which you can find here: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/data-center?product=bamboo But, yes, it is true that Bamboo Data Center is THE product which you can buy a license for.…

Hi @hbunjes I can understand that you are not satisfied with the status quo and from what I could observe everybody can relate to the current situation. You surely refer to the Suggestion in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-6999 The last update refers to year 2023 when the feature is likely to be reviewed for…

I believe an automated pathway for migrating App data to Cloud is a very important topic. Apps often hold extensive amounts of (configuration) data which should be brought to a cloud site, also.
-
A topic we came across a few days before this discussion has been started here in Teamwork Lab is how "The Smurfs" (https://smurfs.fandom.com/wiki/Smurfs_Wiki) organized their community - we had a chat about that, so the discussion here is a follow-up per coincidence. Being a format for children popular in the eighties…

Hey @Alquin Cook you can query for a specific sprint like Sprint = "MySprintName". However, I am unsure for the last part of your question. Assuming there are several issues in a sprint Jira would return all of them so you can view them in detail. In case the restriction to just one issue is a absolute requirement you…

I can't tell if this is a bug. What you are seeing, a not consistent experience, is something I can see also when configuring a field similar to what you say. From what we could spot it is just a limitation/way of design when using behaviours like this. Perhaps it was not possible to code it any different than that.
-
Hi @Gilad Shtern I am not aware of any possibility to do that. Probably not deactivating them in the external directory would be the way to go.
-
In Jira Software Server there is no Roadmap in that sense built-in.
-
Finally it will boil down to the approach I showed earlier - if this does not work a separate App might be the way to go. There will be also a distinction between wrong value (for example) in comparison to a likely too great value. Am I right you consider 1000w as a to great value (because technically/basically) this is…
