Hi there, signed up with my On-Atlassian instance (hope that works too). Great to see this coming — multiple contexts per project is one of the recurring pain points we hit in DC-to-Cloud migrations. A few questions from a Marketplace partner perspective (we build Forge-based custom field types and deliver enterprise…

Honored to be part of this founding cohort. What drew me in is exactly the spirit described here: builders helping builders, sharing the "how we built this" details that save someone an afternoon. My focus is Forge, and I'd love for this to be a two-way street: bring me your hard questions, the edge cases, the "is this…

@Brita Moorus hi there, unfortunately this is not supported yet by Atlassian, but feel free to vote for this: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/FRGE-1973
-
Hi @Robert Santogrossi , just checked it and I was able to add my custom Rovo action as skill in the Rovo Studio. Feel free to share your manifest or DM me. Cheers, paul

Yes, this will definitely help Jira users. Can't wait for the roll-out and future features!
-
I recently tried it with Gemini CLI and it worked out great! In case the capabilities evolve, you can get a list of tools provided by the Rovo MCP server by typing `/mcp list`.
-
This policy suggests a direct increase in our operational cost as Forge app vendor - as multiplied sandbox usage increases our billable Forge consumption - without any corresponding revenue compensation from the customer's purchase of Enterprise or the $10,000 annual for additional sandbox licenses.

Some fantastic contributions and well-deserved winners! Thanks for a great Apptoberfest!
-
@Andreas Springer _Seibert Group_ what do you mean with "vacuum cleaner"? This an original BSM Busters Proton Pack!
-
Hi @Reinbeaux.Leitch, which theme do you mean? You can adjust some colors within the Awesome Custom Fields app, but there's also some customization done in JSM itself. BTW: we had some migration projects from other help desks, so if you have any questions get in touch. Cheers, paul

@Rustem Shiriiazdanov _Actonic_ So happy it made you laugh! @Mia Tamm _Simpleasyty_ Thanks! We had a blast turning something as serious as ITSM into a story worth remembering. Proof that even “scary” topics can be fun with the right kind of magic.
-
@Vitalii Rybka ah yes… the curse of the undead backlog! Every unresolved ticket rises from the grave on January 1st — now forever haunting the feature list. @Stephen_Lugton Haha, thanks! That ghost spent hours rehearsing its entrance, spooky stage presence takes commitment.
-
@Julia Watson-Clarke thank you so much. Apptoberfest is all about having fun!
-
@Jens Schumacher - Released_so would you be so kind to add it to the "unofficial" Apptoberfest Demo board? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, as part of the Awesome Custom Fields team, I can confirm that calculated fields can be done with the Advanced Formula custom field. As you describe you can refer to number fields and do calculation based on that in another field. This can be used in Jira and JSM. Find more details here: Awesome Custom Fields –…

Nice one, that was a fun quiz!

As the custom actions have to be provided via a Forge app, there is still work for developers :) I suggest you begin by learning how develop with Forge and concentrate on the Rovo modules (in case you want to something with AI). You might start with this video from @Caterina…
-
I just noticed that the new experience lacks the support for third-party Forge custom field types... The field type is empty and filtering does not work, even though I choose "other" or "advanced". This makes the management of such fields hard.
-
Hi Carol, Thanks for the announcement! Are there any follow-up tasks to do for us as an app vendor providing Forge custom field types? Cheers, paul
-
Hi @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ , sure, will do, but I am unsure where to put it... I will think about it and post the link then
-
@Bill Sheboy thanks again for spending time on this! It's a shame, that there seems to be no function to transform the object to a valid JSON with smart values. Are you aware of any feature request for this?
-
Logging the original field value shows, that the value is an Object. {selection=[[{id=0, name=Option 1}] ...]} It's not a string. Furthermore without quotes and "=" instead of ":", not valid JSON. I somehow need to transform it to this {"selection": [[{"id": "0", "name": "Option 1"}] ...]} Didn't find a solution so far.
-
Thanks Bill! Actually it looks like I need the direct opposite ("jsonParse"). I thinks the value is provided as a string, when it should be a JSON object (or list of lists of objects).

Hi @Luong La , The provided instance is an internal Atlassian site with no access from public. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Cannot-Access-Confluence-on-hello-atlassian-net/qaq-p/1797854 Cheers, paul

Based on my experience, an Enterprise Social Network offers numerous benefits for knowledge sharing and collaboration. I've personally witnessed many of these advantages, which have been instrumental in keeping me up-to-date despite working 100% remotely. Currently, we are using Mantra, and it’s impressive to see how it…
-
Ah nice! But no support for Browser, right?
-
@Alfredo Huitron @devpartisan , unfortunately it happend again... this time it is https://acf-demo.atlassian.net Just subscribed for Rovo and no built-in or app agents. Please have a look at this. Thanks in advance, paul
-
Having worked remotely for nearly a decade, I understand the critical importance of effective information sharing and collaboration. While Confluence serves as a great platform, Mantra fills in the missing pieces, transforming it into a truly comprehensive intranet.
-
The problem has been resolved by Atlassian. Thanks for that!
-
Hi Alfredo, on the instance I started the trial last week I am seeing this, when I browse agents I have applied for a trial 2 weeks ago on another instance. There I can see all expected agents. I've PM'ed you for instance details. (Can't do this here...) Cheers, paul
