As described in the JIRA Issue Collector documentation, you can turn off the "match reporter" option in your issue collectors if the reporters do not have access to a JIRA application. Then the issue collector will just use the default reporter you have set…

support.atlassian.com uses JIRA Service Desk.

What's changed? In JIRA 7, a user must have access to at least one JIRA application (JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, or JIRA Core) in order to create issues, regardless of how the issue is created. This means that any user that is not able to log in to JIRA and create an issue via the Create Issue dialog will not be able…

You can find more information about using Atlassian software for any kind of application development here.

Hi Hans Peter, The Wiki Plugin for Confluence, which is developed and supported by one of our partners, allows you to write standard wiki markup inside of macro bodies that will render correctly on Confluence pages. Regards, Dave

We will address this as soon as possible. Thanks.

We will be re-enabling these functions for all customers over the next couple months. If you need it sooner, just contact Atlassian Support.

Hi @Sérgio Serra, sorry we don't have any updates right now. We are hoping to finish the work this quarter.
-
Hi @Marc Roberts, like I said above, we are integrating JSU functionality into JIRA. The add-on will remain enabled for all customers that are already using it while we migrate the features. We have no plans to remove the add-on until we are at feature parity (with the potential exception of the custom fields provided by…

If you contact Atlassian support they should be able to enable these modules for you.

Yep, still on the todo list.

Hi @Sam Hall, I'm product manager leading the team that worked on integrated JIRA Suite Utilities. We have already replaced all conditions and validators supplied by JIRA Suite Utilities with native implementations in JIRA, including: * Field Required Validator * Date Comparison Validator * Date Window Validator * Field…

Great question Adam. A significant majority of JIRA customers also own JIRA Agile, and an even greater percentage use JIRA for software development. Therefore, we felt that offering an easy migration from JIRA to JIRA Software would be the best way to make sure as many customers as possible got a simple upgrade experience.…

Hi Nathan, Going forward, the only way to offer commercial add-ons for OnDemand instances is by using the Connect framework. We're still in early development on the platform, and the Connect team is going to great lengths to collaborate with developers as we build out the platform. The Connect specific mailing list is:…

The new release of JIRA introduces three new blueprints for business projects, which are focused projects for non-technical users: https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7/cloud_jira_product-changesFrom the description of the Task Management blueprint: "Create simple tasks, organize them and get them done. You can…

There is a known issue with the "Task Management" blueprint for business projects where the "Resolution" field is required and appears on the edit screen. This means that if you create an issue in a business project using this blueprint and click the "Edit" button, you will not be able to update the issue without filling…

Hi @Jan Scherks. No, not right now.

Hi @edgar lopez, See my answer from January 13 – we have just released a native solution to this in JIRA Cloud. Dave Meyer Senior Product Manager, JIRA

13 January 2017 Hi everyone, As part of the migration of Tempo Timesheets to a new technology platform, the tempoEpicIssues() JQL function is either already removed or will be removed soon (depending on whether your instance has a license for Tempo Timesheets). However, I'm pleased to announce the parentEpic function is…

Based on what you described, your support engineers can use a JIRA Core license. Users with JIRA Core access can interact with issues in software projects, they just won't see JIRA Software features like agile boards and reports or development tool integrations. Dave Meyer JIRA Product Manager

Hi Linh, Please create a support request in the Atlassian Marketplace project on ecosystem.atlassian.netand we can assist you. Cheers, Dave

Hi Christian, I believe almost all of the features you described could be accomplished using Twilio's APIs and the JIRA REST API. There is an existing Twilio-JIRA connector in the Atlassian Marketplace, but it does not appear to be actively maintained. If you're looking for someone pre-built, I think you might be out of…

Hi @Steven Zilberberg, This is a known issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-45206 We're working on getting a fix out as soon as possible. In the meantime, you should still be able to click the "Configure" link in the Application Navigator dropdown itself. Cheers, Dave Meyer Product Manager, JIRA Platform

Apologies. The latest Capture for JIRA version in Marketplace is compatible with JIRA 7.0.0, we made a mistake when setting the compatibility range. It has been fixed now. Regards, Dave Meyer Product Manager, JIRA
-
Hi Paul, We are aware of the issue with the copy-from-parent and copy-to-parent post-functions and a fix has already been shipped. As noted in the most recent update on the knowledge base article, we pushed back the migration to the replacement to September 1 in order to conduct additional testing. As described in the…

@Jon Mort (Adaptavist)'s overview of the problem is exactly correct. We expect to make improvements to the view issue page over the next year to address this problem. Please refer to ACJIRA-1098 for now.
-
That's correct, versions are still available in JIRA Core projects. However, in the future we will continue to optimize JIRA Software further for software development and JIRA Core for non-technical teams.
-
Hi Bill, As Nic said, if you're not using JIRA Agile today, you can upgrade from JIRA to JIRA Core using your existing JIRA license. Just follow all the same upgrade proceedures but use the JIRA Core installer instead of the JIRA Software installer. Your existing JIRA license will be treated as a JIRA Software license, but…

Hi David, Thanks for bringing this up for discussion. I went into detail about the original reasoning behind our screenshot and highlight requirements in an answer to this question, but I think your question deserves its own response. First, we are absolutely, without qualification, committed to making the Marketplace…

Jumping in here: I think Nic's summary is pretty accurate. If you're already a JIRA customer, then it's probably easiest to understand JIRA Core as just plain vanilla JIRA. The key thing to understand is that by separating out JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, and JIRA Core as separate products, it will allow us to make…
