Thanks for the reply, @Theodora! > I assume that the submodule pipelines are defined in in the bitbucket-pipelines.yml of each submodule repo, and so they run on the submodule repo? If so, and if you'd like to keep this setup, then using the WAIT variable is the only way. I should clarify: the source code for each…

I can imagine that Dynamic Pipelines could do it. I haven't been willing to futz with it because I'm categorically against buying in too hard to any particular CI system. My view is CI systems should be commodity products with very low vendor lock-in. Dynamic Pipelines smell like more commitment and maintenance burden than…

HAPI is a feature of ScriptRunner for Jira. While Asset Management does have a Groovy scripting feature, it's not part of ScriptRunner and doesn't have access to HAPI. There is an open feature request for this: https://assist.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-7060 You may be able to schedule a Script Listener to listen for…

As a small update, the Update Macro built-in script may be a better choice for applications like this. https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4c/latest/features/built-in-scripts/confluence-administration-built-in-scripts/update-macro

Hey, @Kurt Rosivatz! I know it's been a minute, but I poked around with this today. I didn't find a way to do it that seemed good, but I figured I'd "show my work" at least. If you really want to customize the side bar, I reckon you're better off sticking with ThemeBuilder (pardon the shameless plug) or, as you noted,…

Okay, the thing that finally got this fixed for me was to use .linkedRepositories("my-linked-repo-id") instead of .planRepositories( new BitbucketServerRepository() /... ) Then there is no need to specify an ssh key pair, or any of the repo configuration. Of course, specifying the linked repo seems to be a manual affair:…
-
I have this same basic problem. If I comment out the `sshPrivateKey()` and `sshPublicKey` method calls on my `BitbucketServerRepository`, I can run the plan spec locally. Those properties are required for use with repository-hosted specs, though.

Plugin developer, here. Will Atlassian’s commitment to performance, scalability, and security on DC mean that we get some major platform updates soon? I know Platform 6 is landing with Jira 9 (and presumably Confluence 8, etc.), but it wasn’t quite as ambitious as some of us had hoped. Specific things that I would like to…

https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/data-center is the best place for the roadmap, but no real mention of Java 17.

They may not have external communication up yet, but you can snoop on their maven repos to see that work on 8.0 is underway. That said, if they haven't published anything, it's probably a good sign that they aren't 100% sure what all is going to go into the 8.0 release yet. It's also a reasonable bet that the Confluence…

Hey, @Kolesa JSC and @Ulrich Huber. If I'm reading you right, you've been working with the "Dialogs (Advanced)" section on our page about Web Items. That's a good start, but what you want is a bit more advanced yet. To do what you're describing, you're going to need some custom javascript. You could wire that up with a Web…

This article is still relevant & helpful, particularly the docker-compose configuration. Thanks, Atlassian! One small note, if you're like me and want to install plugins larger than 10 MB into the resulting container, you may need to tweak the nginx.conf file a bit. client_max_body_size 100M; If you're getting cryptic…

@Mark Kindy- yup! Take a look at https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4cc/latest/features/script-listeners . That details how to create a Jira ticket, not a comment, but you should be able to use the REST APIs to create a comment just as well.

For those watching, the RC is published. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/preparing-for-confluence-7-13-1044114061.html

They just put out a release candidate, so, probably soon. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/preparing-for-confluence-7-13-1044114061.html

That should be quite doable. The particulars will depend a bit on the context. Do you want this to happen in a one-off script from the Script Console? Do you want this to happen on a schedule using a Script Job? Or in response to an event via a Listener? The main idea would be to get the Page object that you want to…

I've been dealing with this too, and I'm just as stumped. The only workaround that I've found so far has been to steal a JSESSIONID cookie from my browser and add it as an HTTP header to the request in curl as a cookie header. e.g. curl --header "cookie: JSESSIONID=ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP;" https://confluence.company.com I…

There are some details around doing this at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Crowd-questions/Confluence-REST-API-Is-there-anyway-to-authenticate-by/qaq-p/688156 and https://www.smartics.eu/confluence/display/PDAC1/REST+Login+to+Confluence+with+cURL#RESTLogintoConfluencewithcURL-RESTCallusingaSessionCookie-head

@PD Sheehan- I reckon you're on the right track with the ContentDraftService. I imagine import com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.content.ContentDraftService def draftService = ComponentLocator.getComponent(ContentDraftService) would get you the service, and the publishNewDraft method would let you create a new draft…

This was true then, but now Confluence 7.9 and later have Personal Auth tokens. https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/using-personal-access-tokens-1026032365.html

For future visitors, Personal Access Tokens have been part of Confluence Data Center since 7.9. https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/using-personal-access-tokens-1026032365.html

Thanks for the shout-out @Hana Kučerová ! We're actually working on a feature right now to make sending mail like this easier. It should be similar to the ScriptRunner for Jira & ScriptRunner for Bitbucket feature. No promises on timelines, but "soon". ;) Keep an eye on our release notes for updates.

Bigwigs? Where!?! ;) Joking aside, @Stephen Letch , that's a valid point. While that's technically possible with a CQL Script Job, it could be made considerably easier. Thanks for the suggestion!
-
So, this is an interesting question, and the answer may vary a little bit, depending on your use case. I'd like to hear a bit more about the why and what of what you're trying to accomplish. Still, I can give you at least a couple of pointers on the "how". I've created a very simple scripted macro for this example. It adds…

Heya, @[deleted]! So, you won't be able to simply inline the attachments into the Confluence page body from the issue.attachments API. You will probably need to do a separate request to create the attachments after the page is created. Atlassian have some documentation on using the Confluence REST API to create attachments…

Hey, @Paweł Jakimiak ! So, I think the problem is caused because your are searching for titles using the EQUALS operator, which is case sensitive. If you want to do a case insensitive search, you should use the CONTAINS operator. So, instead of "/rest/api/content/search?cql=title=%22${pageName}%22" use a URL like…

Best of luck, Michael. One pitfall might be that this won't work via the script console -- I'm assuming you're putting it into the code blank for a CQL Escalation Service Job. Another possible pitfall is that the storage format for the tracking-info macro looks different than my script assumes. You can read up more on that…
-
Yup! This is definitely possible with ScriptRunner. UPDATE: A better choice might be to use the Update Macro built-in script. You could setup a CQL Escalation Service job (or just use the "Run Now" to run it as a one-off). A query like macro = tracking-info and type = page should find all pages with the tracking-info macro…

MarkupBuilder is just a utility class in the Groovy programming language that ScriptRunner for Confluence uses. You don't need an additional add-on. If you'd like to see this script in action, Tiffany demonstrated it during our last Champion Hour Webinar, which you can watch at…
