Hi Kalpana, I do not know how to do it using SIL, but ScriptRunner allows you to do this. There are some addons that have direct support for this. e.g * Email this issue * JEMH * Notification Assistant

Hi Jonas, I'm sure you can create a User Macro that can access the page's last modification date as $!content.getLastModificationDate and render it in the output of the macro. I'm not sure though if you can format it, it will print the last mod date of the pages you place the macro in. Tibor

Some of the emailing addons support this kind of conditional notifications as a built-in feature. One example is Email This Issue for both JIRA Cloud and Server, see related documentation.

We found it was a bug: https://metainf.atlassian.net/browse/JETI-1103 It is fixed now and will be released over the weekend. Thank you. Tibor

thank you, we are investigating and will get back to you shortly. Tibor

Hi Seid, Can you please let me know your JETI version you have in JIRA? Thank you, Tibor
-
Question on the same problem: Public signup failing: "Unable to add access as there are no default groups for JIRA administration.".

Hi, you cannot deploy all plugin to OnDemand instances but only a few featured once and those that are already prepared to support OnDemand. Seemingly this plugin is not compatible with OnDemand. Here are the list of JIRA OnDemand plugins.

Hi Raina, Unfortunately, there isn't a solution your users are after. However there are a few options to try: * use the recipient blacklist to prevent sending emails to the JQ email addresses. So issues will not be sent to these accounts. Blacklist can be set in the Configuration tab of the JETI Admin screen. * configure…
-
Hi, No, Confluence itself cannot deal with nested groups. However, if you connect Confluence to Active Directory (LDAP), and manage the groups in AD, you can use nested groups within AD. The nested groups can be resolved by Confluence properly. See docs…
-
Hi Frank, no, there isn't any way to restrict users at the moment. This means you can potentially add users who anyway cannot access the issue. Even if you do that, these users will not receive notifications because we check permissions. Nevertheless I created an issue for you to watch progress on the topic.

Hi Stacy, JIRA can create issue and comments from emails. Please read through this documentation to help you configure mail handlers: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-779288896.html Regards, Tibor

Hi, Unfortunately, JETI does not have built-in support for scheduled emails (it will come though in this summer). However the JIRA Automation Plugin (free) may help you. It is able to fire events for issues matching a certain JQL query. If you can phrase the JQL query to return the issues that are due to be sent, schedule…
-
I believe this is not possible in JIRA with a single email address without any addons. JIRA mail handlers will listen on a single address and will create issues in the project configured for them. What you can do is to have email address aliases. Aliases are created for a real email account. Your client could have a…

Hi Stephen, you have probably not yet used JETI's flexible event notifications. You can fully customize it with custom recipients (e.g. email address in the sender field), custom templates, and a JQL filter to precisely select the issues you want to process the event on. To put it short, you have duplicate your JIRA…
-
Hi Tim, This is not possible at the moment as JETI sends a single email only to all recipients. I recommend you enter a feature request at https://metainf.atlassian.net/browse/JETI Regards, Tibor

Hi Raina, This page contains details on how to initialize date fields: https://www.meta-inf.hu/display/PLUG/Field+Contexts You can test your regex if it matches the mail body. Use the Test feature for that. Tibor
-
Nic, what I wrote was that Thomas' problem is not caused by the fact that Users can send protected issues to external people.
-
Just to put it right, this problem does not come from JETI "leaking security". It is a general security question that derives from the special needs. The best solution would be a custom mail handler. As JETI can throw events for all emails it sends, an event listener developed with script runner could also work well.

Check the filter that backs the board, the filter may exclude the issues you are expecting to see. Configure the board and find the filter in the board settings.

Contexts define in which project and for which issue type a template is applied. You can create a Context leaving the Project and Issue Type fields empty. This will be the default context then. The default context applies for each project and type unless there is a more specific Context. Tibor

Hi, I recommend you contact the Vendor itself and ask about their plans to become verified. Vendors must apply for verification themselves and must meet lots of criteria to be successfully verified. So it is more up to the vendor than to Atlassian itself. Tibor

Hi Marcel, I understand your point of view, and you are right. From another perspective though, the vital Marketplace is the power of Atlassian Ecosystem Good luck and let me know you have questions on the above mentioned addon. Regards, Tibor

Hi Marcel, there is a handy tool that gives you exactly what you are looking for: a central page where you can view the groups and their permissions in all spaces. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/hu.metainf.plugin.confluence.ultimate-permission-manager/server/overview Tibor

Hi Davor, While Email This Issue has certain autmation capabilities (Event Notification and a workflow postfunction that sends emails on issue transitions), it cannot be used to schedule emails. However, there are two options to do this. * Filter Subscription: you can create JQL queries that return issues for the current…

Hi George, In JIRA_BASE_URL/secure/admin/ViewUserDefaultSettings.jspa you can reapply HTML in "Default outgoing email format" for all users. As the name implies, it will overwrite user preferences, but obviously they can reset their preference later. Tibor

Some hints and steps from the docs: * Create a new Notification Scheme * Add Service Desk Team role to the scheme for the events you like (same page in docs) * Configure this scheme in your SD project* Open Service Desk Project administration * Scroll down to Notifications (see left hand side) * Action / Select a Scheme,…

You can setup a Notification Scheme with Service Desk Team project role added to the Issue Created event. Configure your project with this scheme and make sure all agents are added to this role.

Hi Kim, Just quick note on JETI: it is currently available for JIRA Server (you host), we are going to release the Cloud compatible version soon. Approximately by the end of April. Tibor

what Jeremy suggested is out-of-the-box available in JIRA. However, if you need instant notification on events occuring to issues matching a filter, you can use Bug Watcher Notifications that supports this (see docs: https://www.meta-inf.hu/display/PLUG/Bug+Watcher+Filter+Watching) as a dedicated feature amongst a lot else.
