Hi Robert, To alert users when they are assigned, you need to set up JIRA Notification Schemes and add Assignee to the Issue Assigned event type in the notificaiton scheme. To alert them when issues are aproaching due date, you need the below steps: * add the field Due Date to the issue screen (this is a system field) *…

Hi Raina, I have created a feature request for this at: https://metainf.atlassian.net/browse/JETI-1243 I recommend you start watching this issue. Thank you, Tibor

Yes, absolutely normal. The handlers will run periodically, but will log a message to the log file that email processing is disabled and no emails will be downloaded from the accounts.
-
Hi, It will disable incoming emails too. See -Datlassian.mail.fetchdisabled -Datlassian.mail.popdisabled These are used to stop processing of incoming emails. There is nothing else you need to configure. Tibor

Hi, The mail handler in JIRA has an attribute, called "Bulk". If this is set to Ignore, please try to change it to "Accept and process". JIRA may recognize Bamboo emails containing the Precendence:Bulk header. Tibor

Hi Claire, Status cannot be set explicitly in an issue. The workflow associated with project and issue type in JIRA determines what the initial status will be. Concerning the Assignee, you have multiple choices: - set the default assignee to be Customer Service in the project - use a workflow post function (Set Issue…

I don't think there is an easer way of checking this besides exporting the workflow to XML and searching for the field's name in the XML content. System fields with name (e.g. summary, description, etc) and custom fields with key ("customfield_12345") will appear in the xml. Tibor

If you turn your profile to "My changes: notify me" you will get the Notifications on you own actions.

Hi Raina, I have investigated it and found that Field Rules cannot truncate the description due to bug. I have created a ticket for this, I recommend you watch it to get updates on the progress: https://metainf.atlassian.net/browse/JETI-1092 Regards, Tibor

Hi Bruce, Unfortunately, this is not possible by configuration. Regards, Tibor

Email this issue supports this in multiple ways out of the box, including sending customizable emails manually or upon events, transitions To configure From address for emails sent upon events, you must configure: * the Contexts with From Address like : $!remoteUser.emailAddress * event notifications, similarly to…

if you create/edit the issue, please click the Configure Fields button in the screen and make sure the Time tracking fields are selected to be shown.
-
Open an issue in your project, open "Where is my field" menu under Admin, enter time tracking and see why it is not shown. This will reveal the reasons.
-
Please check: * if the field Timetracking is not hidden by the Field Configuration your project uses * if the field Timetracking is added to the screens your project uses

+1 I agree

I think order("SORT_ORDER") is enough

If you phrase you query with spaces before and after the equation mark (=), then AO uses the correct column name in queries. So the correct query is (nopte the spaces before and after the = character): this.ao.find(MyEntity.class, Query.select().where("SOME_ATTRIBUTE = ?", someAttributeValue); Sad that I lost a few hours…

Hi Matt, we have Email This Issue customers with having 600K-1M records in a table used to store email logs. The table has many columns as well. Querying the table with ActiveObjects was never a problem, at least we never received a complaint about query performance and the data set I personally tried on PostgreSQL had…

What version of the addon do you have in the JIRA instances?
-
And with all modules enabled, not just the addon. Have you tried adding a new watcher field in the Custom Fields page? Does it list the watcher field type at all?
-
Hi Attila, It depends on when the maintenance period has expired. You can upgrade to the latest version of Confluence that was released within the maintenance period of your license. Tibor

Hi Bruce, I you want to use Create Or Comment then please change it to Create Or Comment Or Link processing strategy in the JETI handler. If you need Service Desk support, change it to Service Desk Processing strategy. Both SD Processing and Create Or Comment Or Link supports the functionality I proposed in my answer.…

Hi Bruce, Is it not possible to automatically create a new issue if the related issue is Closed? This way closed issues remain closed and a new issue is automatically created for the customers from the email. If this is fine, you can achieve this with entering a JQL criteria in the JETI handler's Comment Criteria field.…
-
Hi, JIRA does thrown both events when you enter a comment in the edit screen, however the comment is sent along the Issue Updated event in the IssueEvent object. You can extract and process it in your event listener. Tibor

With potentially invalid/expired license keys used, the addons may not fully work as part of their license checking policy. As addons sometime provide custom fields with searchers or JQL functions or other components affecting indexing, it may be necessary to reindex once the license key has been updated. This will then…

The email reply is being sent to JIRAAdmin@Company.com That's one of the problems then. The handler expects emails on Applicationwork@ but clients send their reply to JIRAAdmin@. The good news is that you can set a project email address in the Project Administration / Notification page. Set it to ApplicationWork@. This…

Hi Lisa, I raise a few questions to better understand the situation. * I did not fully understand which of the three mail handler fail to import client reply emails. The service desk or Applicationwork? It is important because SD handlers work differently. * Do the clients have Service Desk Customer accounts in JIRA? * Are…

Hi Brendan, Do you need any help with this problem? Tibor

Hi Jack, Please open the Contexts section of the JETI Admin screen. Add/Edit the context of your projects and enter the sender address in the From Address field. See the description of the Contexts here: https://www.meta-inf.hu/display/PLUG/Contexts Regards, Tibor

Hi Stephanie, This is not possible in JIRA out of the box as the default mail handlers cannot populate fields. There are two addons that may help you: Enterprise Mail Handler, it supports both Cloud and Server versions of Service Desk: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.javahollic.jira.jemh-ui/cloud/overview…
