Hello @Sadia Aslam You can have a custom field in which you can populate the error message and if the transition is successful then clear the error message. In this way when the user lands on the screen he will see the error message.
-
Hello @alexandersh Yes it's possible, please see in the docs https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/write-and-share-articles-957150226.html You can share articles with customers and they can read the artciles within the helpdesk. Hence they have read access without requiring license.

Hello @Flavio Beck Currently it's an open ticket to drag and drop multiple tickets in work mode of Kanban board. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-9581 As a user I want to be able to drag & drop multiple issues in work mode Also, the only way to bulk edit tickets is via JQL filter, feel free to create a ticket…
-
Hello @Darrelle Wood You need to have "transition" issue permission to move issue from one workflow status to another. In addition please check with you admin, as there might be custom "conditions" attached workflow transitions which are preventing you from transitioning issues.
-
Hello @Rene Rath With issueFunction it's quite easy, if you want to see only the epics from project X which have stories in project A then this query should work issueFunction in epicsOf('project = "A" ') and project = X
-
Hello @Andy Bayford As you mention "I am unsure as to your question regarding Epics, we have Initiative at the top, and then to complete the intiative you need to complete the epics, and to complete the epics you need to complete the stories" But from a implementation point of view, how are the epics connected to your…

Hello @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- I think Marco meant the default system supplied value and not the default value and because the field resolution was hidden in field configuration screen hence it was not visible. But after making the field visible in the field configuration screen he can see the field like below screenshot

Hello @Rohit Suryawanshi Out of the box Jira supports Pie-chart which shows the distribution of selection field over the selected issues. In your case since you are interested in the group of the assignee, hence this is doable but you need to make sure the name of the assignee group is stored in some custom field on the…
-
Hello @Andy Bayford Does this work for you issuekey in childIssuesOf("GWT-73") and type = story Here the JQL function is coming from the porfolio plugin, thus please validate if this works for you or not. Portfolio is a plugin which you can check if you have installed or not in the "Manage apps" section, also the option…

Hello @[deleted] Workflow transition buttons appear based on the underlying workflow hence you can customize the workflow of the project and then the buttons should appear based on the transitions present in that workflow. Currently you can't edit workflow for "next-gen" Jira cloud projects but you can do it for classic…

Hello @Luiz Gregorio With Script runner it's pretty starightforward I need to see all stories created under projects from category B which are associated to Epics (epic link) created within category A. issueFunction in issuesInEpics('category = A') and type = story and category = B
-
Hello @Bethany Holt Yes, you are correct, there is currently no way to do this in next-gen project as you can't choose the board filter in the next-gen projects. Here's the open ticket about it https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17444
-
Hello @Gilles LEVRAY Glad to know it works, please accept/upvote answer so that others are also helped. thanks.
-
Hello @Gilles LEVRAY You can try below JQL for open issues summary ~ "EMEA:NL" and resolution is empty
-
Hello @Bethany Holt A board is just a view on the issues being fetched by the underlying JQL filter, hence if you change the JQL filter query as suggested by @Ignacio Pulgar then you can easily exclude stories from the Kanban board.

Hello @Marco Schöning The default value of resolution is "unresolved" , it seems the field is hidden for you. You can check the exact cause by clicking on "where's my field"
-
Hello @Tanu Ranjan Bharadwaj Since by default issue move notification is independent of the workflow status of the issue in source project hence there is no out of the box way to implement what you want. What you can do is write a custom listener which listens to the issue move event and then based on the workflow status…

Hello @charan kumar What you require is requested here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-31797 Sadly, it has been closed as "wont do" by Atlassian as it didn't get enough votes.

Hello @Kyle Brain Could you please share the screenshot of the board configuration, filter and the issue view of the issue you expect to be on the backlog but it's not.
-
Hello @Kyle Brain Since the board is just a view on the issues being fetched by the underlying filter. As you have mentioned "The problem I am facing is that the issuetypes previously displayed in the Backlog have now gone. I am unable to find a resolution of this. " Did you make sure the new issue filter is fetching the…
-
Just to add to the answer from @Jack Brickey , the general practice among lot of teams is to estimate story in story points and log work against the sub-tasks being worked upon which can then be rolled up to the story level.
-
Hello @Charanya Muthukaruppiah Thanks for sharing more info, it seems you are using next-gen projects and the "Roadmap" feature of the next-gen projects. Currently Roadmap supports only status categories and not actual statuses. Please see this open ticket. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17525
-
Hello @Charanya Muthukaruppiah You are seeing the default columns, in order to see the desired column you have to configure the board columns. Basically, map the workflow status to the board columns and you can also add new columns on the board or remove the columns. Please see the docs…
