Hello @Rakshatha Shetty Can you check if the query is returning sub-tasks in the issue navigator view? and please share screenshot of the board configuration and column configuration. It should ideally display sub-tasks on the active sprint view and not the backlog view of the board.
-
Hello @Simon Teppett Currently this is an open issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70150 Sub-tasks no longer have their time tracked on the parent issue for the new Full View Issue experience https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70347

Hello @fatoumata Sall JSD requested type are mapped to the issueTypes in Jira in project configuration and the issueTypes are associated with the workflows. https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver041/workflows-969531453.html Hence you can configure the issueType workflow and then map that type with the request…

Hello @Masroor karamat For a specific week you can exclude/include weekends based on the functions startOWeek/endOfWeek but directly excluding/including weekends for a date range is not supported right now in JQL. Possible duplicates…
-
Hello @Rashmi For such reporting use-cases I generally use the Better-excel plugin for this purpose. You can configure the template and with some scripting you can easily get the total original estimate and total time spent & then calculate the deviation.
-
Hello @dima khosravi I meant to share the log file - atlassian-jira.log, your jira admin should be able to provide you the log file.
-
Hello @Matej Kamenicky Currently, I don't see any effective(even paid) solution available for this requirement. You can connect 2 confluence instances via application links but that's it. You can't do much. Especially if you want to publish some content from secure instance onto the public instance then there might be…

Hello @Rakshatha Shetty Which version of JIra and portfolio do you have, as using the above query I am getting the sub-tasks of the stories as well.
-
Hello @Andy Allison The out of the box capabilities of Jira cloud are not very advance when it comes to reporting. But still, you can make sure you two highly effective reports - Two dimensional filter https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/adding-the-two-dimensional-filter-statistics-gadget-720416991.html And control…

-
Hello @vibonacci You have described the correct process, but it seems when we move the issue from "Task" type to "sub-task" type we are getting an error. Seems like a Jira cloud bug, I am also able to replicate it. I will share this post with someone from Atlassian.
-
Hello @Nicole Durante In Agile, estimations are not considered concrete and there is always the "risk" factor which everybody in the team agrees upon when estimating. Now, we do estimate at story level in story points which is based on relative complexity and works pretty well for us. As far as estimation on epics are…
-
Hello @Vinod Purushotham If the project contains "Epic" issueType and you have the permission to create the issue, then I don't see any problem in creating the epic. The Epics are visible on the Epic panel of the backlog view of the scrum/kanban board (in kanban board you have to activate the backlog view)
-
Hello @Pangeel Shubha For the JMWE plugin, you can use the following post-function in the Task workflow. https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWE/pages/68878506/Transition+linked+issues And in the Change request workflow add a condition now to make the transition unless all linked tasks are done. IN this was every…

Hello @Sekhar Chandra Labels are global in Jira and not project specific. But you can create a custom field of type *Label* and add that custom field to the project context in the context configuration of the custom field.
-
Hello @Protus You can choose the customer permission from the Jira service desk global configuration, you can choose "No" for 1st option and then "yes" for second option. So that customers can create requests from portal or sending emails but only your team will be creating the customer account and not the customers…

Criteria for selecting different affects versions can depend on the value of any existing field on the screen based on which a different affects version can be pre-filled, but it's best if @Anna Bodazhkova confirms the same or the explains the relevant criteria for the same.

Hello @Karthik Gnanasekaran You can link the stories in Jira to defects, and bugs. In order to make sure that you can't complete the stories unless the defect or bug is done then you will have to write a validation check in the story workflow which will check for the status of the linked issue. Paid plugins like JSU and…
-
Hello @Tushar Sahoo Then the only way is to map all the mentioned statuses in the "done" column but in that case users will not be able to transition issues between these statuses on the board. Hence as suggested by Nic already you can map multiple statuses in the same done column but currently you can't mark different…
-
Yes, indeed having multiple workflow statuses in the done column is a benefit in Jira but personally I avoid that configuration because once that configuration is implemented then the next thing user's request is again something not yet implemented. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-3573 But having the multiple…
