https://www.getxray.app/xray-vs-zephyr/ As @[deleted] also pointed, it's best to approach the vendor. But based on my current knowledge of test management plugins available on marketplace, it seems Xray and TM4J provide the best support for automation testing, especially BDD.

Hello @Evgeny Kliukin You can easily add a custom field in Jira and choose the field of type numeric value https://deviniti.com/support/addon/server/extension/latest/multilevel-structure-custom-fields/
-
Hello @India Mychen Based on your requirement, I don't think there is anything out of the box that can be very exhaustive in terms of clickable legend, especially since you have an hierarchy Epic - > Features -> story. I suggest you to look into this paid plugin (eazyBI)…

Hello @Antonio D_Errico Great to see the complete code sample, if you think my answer helped you in your requirement please upvote/accept. thanks!
-
Hello @Andi Parker It's not possible to do this without an plugin. If you have the paid plugin Script runner installed then you can easily do it. issuetype = Epic and issueFunction not in hasLinkType("Epic-Story Link") the above JQL will give you all epics in the system which don't have a child story.

Hello @mahavishnu This question has been asked before on the portal Here's how you can create a new scripted field https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/scripted-fields.html And here's an working sample…
-
Hello @QK You can reduce the number of fields on the sub-task creation form to a minimum or if you want to auto-create them when a parent is created or when a parent issue transitions to a certain worfklow status then you can use a paid plugin As discussed here…
-
Hello @Suresh Choudhari If you use restore Jira data from backup Then it will wipe out complete existing data from your current instance and restore the all data from the cloud thus be careful with this option.
-
Hello @María López Carrasco This does happen quite commonly to lot of users. Basically when you see this pop-up and click *update* what Jira will do is to take the parent issue to the *closest* green status from the current status. In your case this is happening because when you click on update the parent status was on a…
-
Hello @Zeljko Mitrovic When you say "I thought more about a function that bundles all versions to a leading one - like you have sub-tasks in tasks." Do you mean if the fixVersion of the issue is Q2 and the final merged version is Q3 then you want to see both Q2 and Q3 in the fixVersion of the issue as fixVersion field…

Hello @Manuel Woletz To send the custom email are you using the post-function by script runner or something else? As the post-function provided by the scriptrunner offers the ability to insert values from script. https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/builtin-scripts.html#_send_a_custom_email

If the answer helped you please accept/upvote so that other users are also helped.

Hello @J_D Currently you can't have custom field below description https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-22085 The workaround for it is to have separate tab for the test steps. But Jira doesn't support Test execution and test reporting etc, for that you will need to install a paid plugin. You can search on…

The screenshot you have shared it from the field configuration section. Please see the steps here to add a custom field (you need jira admin rights) https://deviniti.com/support/addon/server/extension/latest/multilevel-structure-custom-fields/ And once you have added a custom field then you need to click on "Edit…
-
Hello @J_D You don't need any specific plugin for this. You can do this using custom field. Just create a new custom field called test step, it should be a multi-line custom field and choose the wiki-style renderer in field configuration
-
Hello @Manuel Woletz Can you please post the screenshots of your current post-function configuration.
-
Hello @Anton Kuharev Jira doesn't support create issue permission based on issueTypes. Anyone with create issue permission can create all the issueTypes irrespective of their role in the company. If you want to implement rules around creation of issues based on roles, then you will need to use paid plugins like JSU, Script…

Hello @Zeljko Mitrovic Lot of Managers face the issue which you are facing, Jira provides out of the box support for it. You can easily *Merge* versions in Jira. Thus, all your component specific versions can be moved into a single consolidated version.…
-
Hello @Dave Bosman _Inetum_ Yes, for the approach I have suggested, it requires an creation of an scripted field. As out of the box it's not feasible to implement the original requirement, but since this kind of requirement is not uncommon hence the suggestion for an alternate.
-
Hello @PWS Dev I have implemented something similar to what you want. First of all as @Dave Bosman _Inetum_ mentioned, it's not possible to modify issue key of an project and also it's not recommended as issue key is a combination of project key and a number. If you want to append Component in your issue key like this…

Hello @Nischal Sharma Please go through the last link which I have shared. As you will need to create board and add a filter as explained in the link.
-
Hello @Aitor Bermejo Cacho Lot of users connect to Jira via REST. This can be bot accounts or accounts which are getting some information from JIra and then processing it further. For example you can have a bot account which adds comments on Jira ticket after every Jenkins job or similar automation. Some times you are…
-
Hello @Piyal Nanayakkara You can easily create 2 custom fields in Jira and map them to the project/issueType context These 2 can be custom fields in JIra and added to the issue creation screen of defect, so that the user has to fill them while creating defects Detected in Cycle - Detected in Release…
-
Hello @Nischal Sharma The workflow for the story has be such that it can be split across 2 board. Open -> In progress - > In QA -> Dev Done - this is your Scrum board Dev Done-> IN UAT -> In PROD -> SAles ready - this is your kanban board Boards run on filters, which you can configure while board creation or later…
-
Hello @Nischal Sharma You have a pretty common scenario and it can be dealt with quite easily with Jira. You can have an status called "Dev Done" in workflow and this can be the right-most status in the board configuration so that when issue moves to this status then story points get burned so that devs know that their…

In order to get the Option ID you need to write code to fetch the id https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/ScriptRunner-How-to-grab-the-ID-of-an-option/qaq-p/733802 And then store the value in a variable and then use that variable in the post-function email
-
Hello @Nischal Sharma You need add-ons for implementing this feature. You can use Automation, Script runner or Power scripts or JSU. Multiple options are available. I personally use Script runner quite a lot and if you use Script runner then here is an example explaining exactly what you need to do.…

Hello @Lakshmi Kondury You can create a new Test issueType in the next-gen projects. Project settings -> Issue Types Currently next-gen doesn't support plugins like Zephyr https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Next-gen-and-zephyr/qaq-p/922264
