Hello @Oscar 88cashbet It's pretty straight forward to integrate both Jira server and slack Just make sure both can reach out to each other i.e. there is no firewall/network configuration which might block their communication because that's the case with lot of hosted Jira versions that they can't talk to outside…
-
Hello @Sahil Yadav There are couple of ways * You can write scripts in script console with dummy object and proper loggin * Please read the docs here on setting up the dev environment for debugging- https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/confluence/DevEnvironment.html
-
Hello @Evgeny Erofeev Make sure you have "enabled" rank in the underlying filter of the board.
-
Hello @dion.voogd Insight provides IQL query language (similar to JQL provided by Jira) Have you looked into these docs https://documentation.riada.io/insight/latest/insight-searching-filtering-29317243.html https://documentation.riada.io/insight/latest/insight-jql-functions-29317147.html…

Hello @a.wilkinson1 If you are satisfied with the answer, please accept/upvote so that others are also helped. thanks!

There are lot of benefits of being a community champion. Of-course things like Atlassian swag are there, but there are numerous other things which give you recognition for your work as community champion. * Free tickets to the summit * Community dinner and workshop at the Summit along with chance to interact with C-level…

Hello @a.wilkinson1 History searches seem not to be supported yet in Next-gen projects, as even simple JQLs like project = api and status was "To Do" Don't return any result. While changing the JQL to project = api and status = "To Do" Get's me all the issues which I want.
-
Found it, currently it's an open ticket, next -gen projects don't support test issue type https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70685
-
On my server Jira version the "tests" option comes from the "Zephyr" plugin.
-
Hello @Tyra Williams Are you using an plugin for testing in your instance which is providing the option of "Test" in the left navigation? And It could be that the plugin only supports "classic" projects and not next-gen projects.
-
Hello @Mikhail Cherkasov "but now we want to have separate ticket for each commit" , could you please share the use-case behind this approach. As generally multiple commits are associated with an story and you also have an entire feature branch dedicated to an story/epic. Thus, why to have one story per commit and…
-
Hello @Yuta Komiya I have personally not used the Big Gantt plugin but the input for most of these plugins is based on a JQL filter having issues coming from Jira project. Thus, I don't think you can have issues in the Big Gantt view which are not part of any Jira project.
-
Hello @Frank J. Øynes As @Walter Buggenhout already mentioned that the fixVersions (releases) are project specific in Jira. One of way you can try to circumvent this issue is create a Kanban board and move the issues to done column. And then from the Board make the release of the issues in done column. In this way the…
-
Hello @Santosh V As per this blog - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/explore-your-jira-data-with-power-bi/ I don't think it's required to write SQL queries yourself to extract the data from Jira and display via power BI
-
"Epic Link" = <key of epic> Above is based on out of the box features And also possible using JQL functions from paid plugins like SR https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_issuesinepics
-
Hello @Santosh V Why do you want to do a DB query? You can do the query in Jira native JQL and export the results in the CSV/Excel
-
Hello @samkit jain Please share your code sample and also the link to the Jira REST client docs
-
Hello @Ron Assaf Currently this is an open request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17257 "Please add a new filter to the next-gen project backlog to let users choose to show or hide completed issues."
-
Hello @Saritha Bs This function is coming from the portfolio plugin (just like the "Parent Link" field) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/searching-for-issues-using-portfolio-details-940678957.html
-
It's to get all links irrespective of outward or inward. And then you add logging inside it log.info()
-
Hello @Andrii Striletskyi In your code instead of issueLinkManager.getOutwardLink() Use the below method https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.6.1/com/atlassian/jira/issue/link/IssueLinkManager.html#getIssueLinks-java.lang.Long-
-
Hello @Michael Schmitz Currently it's an open ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17155 No option to add a issue type "sub-task" for next-gen projects
-
What do you get for the log log.error(link.getIssueLinkType().getName())
-
PLease see this example for the basic method to update the custom field for a issue. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Basic-method-to-update-a-custom-field-with-Scriptrunner/qaq-p/362875
-
Hello @Roy Chapman The value is not changing because you are not doing it right. You are using issue.setCustomFieldValue( eDate, sDatev) } From the docs about this method Sets a custom field value on this Issue Object, but does not write it to the database. This is highly misleading.…
-
Hello @Stefan Kuehne When you say ". I can't change it by drag and drop in the new board" Have you added Ranking to the issue filter ? In the filter you can add "Order by Rank "
-
Can you share the screenshot of the issue links page in your jira instance and your exact code.
-
Hello @Andrii Striletskyi You are comparing the description of linkType (is child of) instead of the name. To find the name of the issue link go to the URL <-Your-Jira-Base-URL>/secure/admin/ViewLinkTypes!default.jspa Once you visit the above URL you can see the actual link name.
-
Hello @Saritha Bs This should do the trick, it's supported out of the box in Jira issuekey in childIssuesOf("XX-1234") and type = epic Here XX-1234 is the Program Initiative.
-
Hello @George Chiu It seems you are running into this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-59791
