Are you using the automated labels feature for those builds? Looks like the regexp is matching but not providing data. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Configuring+automatic+labelling+of+job+build+results

Not to be daft, but is it the missing context on the reverse proxy statment? (no JRA shown above) That would make responses look to come from a different URL. 12345<VirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80>... ProxyPass /JRA http://localhost:8080/JRAProxyPassReverse /JRA http://localhost:8080/JRA # <-- Added context</VirtualHost>

The board's work mode only shows tickets where Fix Version is empty, of the fix versions are unreleased (by default). So the button is successfully creating and setting versions, hence why they disapear from the board. However the feature does not conduct any status transitions.

Alright, in my exoerience here that lends to the object filters and paths if your not seeing auth or limit errors from the ldap server. Do you have another application (apache directory studio is good) that will allow you to manually validate connection strings, filters and the base DN? Even another web app that uses that…

Zimbra accounts must be supported, https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/LDAP+Object+Structures Which connection are you using ?https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Configuring+an+LDAP+Directory+Connector What error are you getting during the test? If you/can you save does it synch? IN general disable…

I would suggest docs for SQL Server. I don't think it is one of Atlassian's "suggested" databases. Google:"SQL Server max packet size" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms177437.aspx

I suggest Jamie's Script Runner plugins that includes custom JQL function "aggregateExpression" just add something like and issueFunction in aggregateExpression("Label to show",fieldTo.sum) to your filter/search. And you will get a small alert box with the outcome.…

getRemoteUsername on the uiser manager has nothing to do with the event. Your listener is being run by the system, the change (object we are inspecting) was not. try poking with buildRequirementUpdatedEvent.toString() and Object o = buildRequirementUpdatedEvent.getSource() o.getClass(); You may end up needing to just get…

You should research the concept of release trains which can give you alignment without locked versions, as having the same versions in many projects seems like you're fighting something natural. In Bamboo you can set a series of plans to be chained together to build as one if you want to trigger them all from one version…

See atlassian's docs for this topic. There is no ideal solution, but you can do it with manual SQL queries, but there are risks, so be sure to back everything up first. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Changing+Usernames

James, why not stick with the /etc/hosts fix? That would allow a specific host (your ladp server) to be resolved by that url, and be trusted securely. Without implementing a custom TrustManager that trusts that particular host (or any host), there is no way to let Java SSL accept that connection. It is a major security…

What tool are you using? is it backed by crowd?

BTW, that's great @argosy_ops, glad things are working out for you!

Hi Mike, I think that is a perfectly valid opinion, and expressed very well. I know I've been one of those to make such statements on this thread and others, but I'm just a guy, not an Atlassian employee, so take anything I say with such importance ;) I can completely see your frustration. Being told "your doing it wrong"…

I disagree. It is actually quite helpful toward velocity, which is not a measure of short, but long term planning. A classic example is this- suppose a team averages 85 points a game so far this season (lets say 10 games played). It is safe to say they will average 85 points over the next 5 games, but NOT safe to say they…

This is a much discussed topic, but points are only estimated at the story level for the whole effort, including all testing. There is no value to the end user until a feature is full designed, coded and tested, and stories reflect that. You can use Epics (very large stories) to span multiple efforts and break out stories…

@Piotr is right, but I think to @bdyck's poitn, the numbers are the full ID of the repository (i.e. 78586993) and not the ordered number. You can see them listed on the metadata page, just copy the whole variable name string and wrap it in ${}
-
@David- why do you think the version is wrong? The standalone installer is self-inclusive, and will use the 'right' jre. There's nothing to copy over or set.
-
JIRA comes bundled with its own JRE assuming standalone. The JAVA_HOME value is set in the startup scripts to use that embedded JRE. Why do you say its the wrong version? You can force JIRA to use the system JRE, https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/How+to+Use+System+JRE+Instead+of+Embedded+JRE

YOu should be able to define a bit of custom HTML in the template and just use CSS to hide those elements. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/21912/how-do-i-override-css-styles-in-the-documentation-theme

Yes! That was my trouble. The Atlassian provided class used a lazyreference for the boolean as to whether gravatar was enabled or not. ANd (for whatver reason) it blew up trying to access the adminstrationConfigurationManagement property for the actual value. So I just hard coded a true (if I am deploying a custom class…
-
Hmm, maybe it is a change in the AdministrationConfigurationManager. It uses a lazyreference that seems to be bombing out. I am trying a hard coded boolean for the enabled variable.
-
Can you expand that a bit Justin? I created a GravatarServiceImpl that implements the interface, using my own server, but after placing the compiled class in the directory yuo mention (which i had to create) it blows up! I used the source downloaded from my.atlassian and changed the variable for server_URL only... not sure…

Wait a few more days for the content from 2013 to go live at https://summit.atlassian.com/archive, there was a great presentation on this topic from Damon Poole, Eliassen Group "The Enterprise Agility Model"

I would suggest using a calculated field - https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+Fields Be sure to select the Date Time Range picker as the searcher. This field would populate from 201308 to August 1, 2013 (as a date) You could then use JQL to do very powerful searches: customfield > startOfDay()…

THis has always been the default result sorting for me when I click browse through from an agile screen. Agile Board > CHoose a version > Click Issue Navigator from the version.

Historical querying is only provided on a handful of fields (statuses for instance). https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Advanced+Searching#AdvancedSearching-CHANGED AND Status WAS CHANGE FROM "Resoved" To "Closed" DURING (startOfYear(),endOfYear()) But I don't know that without writing a custom index and JQL…

I am not sure i follow your comment. At the time bamboo sends the "was successful" email, that build _is_ the latest (current) build. It sounds like you are trying to read into the future? INcluding the status from previous builds is easy, and just a simple edit to the velocity templates.
-
Sounds strange, you should be able to create numerous scrum boards all running at various tempos/teams. Were the sprints created seperately in the planning board? If so sounds like a bug you should submit to support.atlassian.com

Hmm. Try going to the Logging and Profiling section of the Administration areas and turn on logging for the class com.atlassian.jira.service.services.mail.MailFetcherService at DEBUG level, and copy the result here when it attempts to read one of the emails.
