Yes, I agree that this would be a good feature. So far not implemented. I am struggling with many huge pictures that people upload and then suddenly disk space is starting to be low quickly. I am personally watching those tickets that track disk activity https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-38770…

Anytime :)

It is probably related to a browser and specific extensions that are installed (for example Grammarly) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/accessing-jira-software-boards-in-browsers-returns-syntaxerror-unexpected-token-error-941599631.html Can you check on a different browser or check using incognito mode or safe mode…

Did you tried to clear out the JIRA cache? * Stop the JIRA instance * Delete JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins and JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins * Restart JIRA You might also need to reindex it after that.
-
It is probably because project permission scheme. Please check if customer role is added to it and that actually the customer is in that role. Please check this dock for more information - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-jira-service-desk-permissions-802592459.html
-
It is not a problem.. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/running-sql-commands-in-a-hsql-database-685900390.html
-
There are couple of solutions for that.. Most dedicated required a third party plugin like Script Runner where you have a special JQL function: issueFunction in commented("by ExampleUser") Without the plugins there is also an option to get this info via Activity Stream gadget.. #1 Go to Dashboard #2 Add Gadget Activitiy…

It depends what you would like to migrate.. In JIRA 7.0, the Project Import functionality between identical instances of JIRA supports some Active Objects data. For example: * Data that will be imported: JIRA Software's sprint data and ranking data * Data that will not be imported: JIRA Software's board configuration data…

Are you an admin? Can you create other type of project (business?)
-
You configuration files seems to be messed up .. Maybe you did some typos or additional special characters. Please check syntax.
-
Unfortunately this is not yet supported - Track this https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-79 for progress.
-
Is thee user actually created and associated with default groups? Do you have Copy on Login option enabled?
-
I would recommend SQL query. Something like this should work .. SELECT * FROM project WHERE key NOT IN (SELECT DISTINCT(pkey) FROM jiraissue WHERE updated > "your date")
-
Well .. You need to quickly move and resolve tickets on the board :) .. then you would not see so many dots ;) .. But if yo turn this of permanently -> Your Board -> Configure -> Columns -> Days in column: uncheck to disable this feature.
-
Oh there might be different reasons. There is complete troubleshooting guide for that that I recommend to read first - https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/application-links-troubleshooting-guide-718668765.html

I would recommend to find some notifications options outside JIRA for example using Outlook. You can set up a Search Folder that will show you old emails (might be older than 1 day), put it on favorites and have all counters from all handlers in one place.. If there will be a number (like above -> 20) it means that mailbox…

I suggest to check the logs for interesting errors. This will give a better picture. You might want to also run DEBUG mode to get even more. Overall does user create when trying to do a log in attempt? Can you check on a user that is not in internal directory (if trying to use same usernames). Overall you might want to…

Yes, it should be possible. You need to change the List Style parameter - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/table-of-contents-macro-182682099.html of this Table of Content macro. Default is set to disc (which is a filled circle)

That error doesn't say that you need to have GIT installed. Wondering what kind of integration you are having (App Links or else?) but in any way I think is should not be required unless your Bamboo server is used also as an local agent.
-
It deepens if you are having priority schemes or not (JIRA Software 7.6 and above - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/associating-priorities-with-projects-939514001.html). In any way you should be able to change priority manually without any problem. The field just need to be available on the screen.
-
That is interesting since I have still different view. Anyway both ways give you the same output either by this option or Print List/Details
-
@John de Groot- I need to recall myself that this is not supported since I check a little deeper and this feature looks like it is actually implemented in 5.8 Confluence. However since then there is a bug :) - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-38083 . So, you might be affected by it or do not yet have 5.8 (or…
-
It is.. but only in JIRA.. I think that some features should be shared across applications. G+G is one one them :)
-
You are facing this problem - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-34225 unfortunately when using // it is not yet supported. You can try to add dates as normal text and then it will be sorted as expected.
-
Probably you need to reopen a sprint to be able to modify the sprint report, but I suggest you to test this on the test system first to feel more comfortable with the result.
-
Beta closed already? .. Wow! .. There must be really a lot of "project administrators" that would like to get this certificate early.. Do you plan to open for more participants or 200 is enough? Is this really gonna take 9 hours? :)
-
Problem with Integrity Checker is very annoying an for me this should already be improved in JIRA. It does not have any progress bar or does not reload after each stage if want to check more than one. It should be definitely redesigned!
-
@Rachel Wright- Keep up the good work :)
-
Looking how things are growing since my first Summit at 2011 .. soon Summit will need to move to a stadium for a bigger capacity ;)

Good summary. Thank you @Sven Peters for posting this article.
