  • Hi @Jason Chayer There could probably couple of solutions that might work. I think that there is nothing wrong with having multiple projects and linking things together. So you can have one view of requirements / new features (as epics and stories) then in a different project have other tasks that would be linked to the…
  • Hi @Heigo Ankuhin Yes, everything what you see if it is build using CSS should be possible to modify using it also however you should know that every modification might break your UI so do it only if you really required it.. Here is a nice KB about that topic…
  • Hi @Kamil Askerov Not quite sure if I fully understand what you want to achieve. Basically when you add a link to an issue it creates both inbound and outbound link automatically. That also include situation when you clone an issue. This is how the documentation explains it: When you link Jira issues together, you create a…
  • Hi @Абдуллаев Алишер You are saying that what you do is a server to server migration.. What procedure / tool are you using? Do you have an XML backup as input?
  • Hi @Onur Cevik First of all you mentioned that you would like to filter issues that are "not assigned or created by current user" .. This mean that JQL I think should look like this assignee != currentUser() OR creator != currentUser() As for admins exception.. It all depends how you have configured your instance /…
  • Hi @Muthu Praveen Just to be clear.. Are you saying that you upgraded Jira to version 9.4 (or having that version) and this is still a problem? Basically it is pretty old issue so if you are on newer version that it was recommended that it should be already addressed without the need to apply the workaround..
  • Hi @Claudinei Silva The filter actually checks specific time period and load data from tickets that match it but do not guarantee te view that you would like to achieve. Not sure which gadget are you using.. Could you provide the name? Basically from the screenshot it looks that settings are grouped by Issue Type (not by…
  • Cześć @Mikołaj Ogrzywalski Please check this KB article https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-sync-comments-and-copy-attachments-between-linked-issues-1167831058.html I hope it would be helpful
  • Hi @Rinuccini Lou What would happen if you add people (that do not have access) individual (without using this group? Would they have access to the backlog this way?
  • Hi @Pavan You might be hitting this problem https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/getting-error-returning-empty-featureflag-set-from-fx3-service-on-confluence-1312163069.html Please check and let me know if that helped
  • Hi @Patrice Champet Trying to imagine you proces but do not exactly know how to "store emails in a custom field of type label". You mean if someone reports and issue you are trying to recognize the domain and put it in a label field? Is that correct?
  • Hi @Tejaswini Donga Could you please clarify what you mean by "different"? Different to what exactly? Do you have any standard integration and want to see an alternative?
  • Hi @DMR Are you aware of any change on the system / application level since when you started noticing this problem? I would look for everything.. Windows updates, installations.. changes to Jira configuration, upgrades.. Do you have any test system and seeing the same behavior?
  • Hi @Chris Szorc and @Saravana Please check if you are not hitting this problem (related to swimlanes and Epics) https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-11318 If so then check this KB for resolution https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-software-kanban-board-does-not-show-all-issues-779158700.html
  • Just to understand... @Chris Szorc mentioned that the tickets after upgrade are showing on Backlog, you mention that the stories do not show on "Active Sprints".. So did the sprint actually start? Tickets are showing in Active Sprints only when there is a active sprint. Could you check the filter that is used on the…
  • Hi @Chris Szorc Are you sure that nobody by mistake removed the stories? Could you check the history of couple of tickets? Maybe there could be some information? Overall from which version you upgraded? Are you a System Admin? Did you do the upgrade or someone else?
  • Welcome @Artyom Korbut I am wondering if this is still an issue. I notice between 23th and 24th January some problems with Jira Cloud which have been addressed as noticed on Status page https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/ Could you please confirm? If this is still an issue could you please check how things behave…
  • Hi @PandurangaChary_Vadla Do you have a Rest API enabled for your instance? Do you use a local account to authenticate? (are you using username or email as username). Could you check if you can log in to your instance using it? Any more detailed error in the logs?
  • Hi @Vijay Andela I know some workarounds how to know who started a sprint or completed it, but I am not aware of any way to know who edited a sprint dates (or name) .. Overall it is something that is missing. At least it should be in the Audit Log so that admin could get this information.
  • Hi @Mathias Mohrs I think that simple Custom Field (which would a select list with 5 values that would represent teams) should do the job. When creating a ticket you choose a team in the field then all visibility (on boards) depends on that field (on filter you define something like project = A and field = Team A). Thanks…
  • Hi @Diana Tkachenko , From what I know in order to manage versions you would have to be Project Administrator (just like you are). Are you sure that someone that is not a Project Administrator is able to manage it? What distribution of Jira do you use? Cloud or On-Prem (Server/Data Center)?
  • So, can someone else also try to download it? Is it possible? If not could you confirm that this could be reproduced on all issues in a project not only one specific request? If you are able to download the specific attachment are you able to create a new test ticket and attach the same file just to check? Does this error…
  • Hi @misael.silveira Thank you for actively joining Atlassian Community and adding your first post. I would try to help you figure out this problem. From the error message I does not look like something common. Could you please clarify is this a problem only with specific attachment? In other words.. Are you able to…
  • @kamal My point was that there is already a future request created and currently it is not possible to add Linked Issues. Watching and voting is a good idea. Thanks to that maybe some day it would be added.
  • Hi @__ Jimi Wikman , Thank you for reading and replying. I was also not a fan o migrations since I know that a lot of effort is required (especially if you have a big instance with a lot of customization) but sometimes you get to a point that that need to be done. I did couple of "migrations" already (split, merges,…
  • Hi @Antoine B , Yes, from what I know basically by specifying “fixVersion“ for Jira issues you actually connect them to one of the versions. If you look at JAC for example https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/JRASERVER?selectedItem=com.atlassian.jira.jira-projects-plugin:release-page&status=unreleased You should notice also…
  • Hi @TSM Admin Hmm.. that is interesting that everything was working fine and now suddenly it not.. Is anyone else having the same (or similar) problem? Did you tried restarting your phone (refreshing browser cache)?
  • Hi @Michel saliba Rather than finding a way to prevent creating a tickets by handler on Jira side.. I suggest to log in to your mailbox that is connected and create a rule there to move the emails with "test" in a Subject to a different folder than Inbox (not processed by Jira).
  • Hi @Andreas H Not sure if you would be able to make a simple query (by JQL).. Maybe using Automation for Jira could give you satisfying results (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/Comparing-issue-fields-just-got-easier-in-Automation-for-Jira/ba-p/1369461) There might be probably other ways (or…
  • Hi @Venkata Sagar Ganesh Rao Mahendrakar Component Watcher does not seems like a OOTB Jira feature? Is this added by a plugin? Maybe using this? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229791/component-watcher-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter If so what exactly was cleared? Could you share more details (a…
