Thank you @Jonny Adams. So we mostly agree. There is a small difference between every category which we both see, unfortunately it is not clear for all users (especially those new here). The key point of some improvements is to reduce confusion, so that everyone can easily create and later manage content. If this is a…

Yes, you might have a Cloud version (but depends on the product). Please check this URL for more information and details that are required - https://www.atlassian.com/software/views/open-source-license-request

Is there any entry in the log for that event? This should give a clue. If not having access to the logs I would recommend checking all differences between this user and other that are able to copy the page. Can he copy other page on the same space or it is only related to only specific page? Please check if the user added…

Maybe you can use 2-3 different projects for different organizations, not a single project and give access to those projects only for specific agents. But even using a single you might want to configure Issue Security to switch visibility of a single ticket. Just not sure if this would be possible automatically to filter…

Happy anniversary! It is nice to see that community is starting to be more like a "community" than only a place to post and answer questions like it was for couple years already. I hope that it will not be the last anniversary and every year it will be just better and better.. I wish you that. I am back here after a longer…

Doc says: To prevent any conflicts, check your application server's lib/ directory: If the application server already contains mail-1.4.1.jar and activation-1.1.1.jar, then just remove mail-1.4.1.jar and activation-1.1.1.jar from the <jira-application-dir>/WEB-INF/lib/ subdirectory of the JIRA application installation…

Hmm.. Sometimes I am wondering is there any contest in making the shortest question in the Community .. Not sure why you cannot explain already in details what you would like to achieve.. What button? What it will do? .. etc. More details = better answer you can get. Please remember that when posting questions since most…

Did you download .zip version of your JIRA version and look there for those files? I think that this is where you should be looking for your files.

You are probably hitting this BUG - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-4170
-
This is not possible in OOTB JIRA. You would need to use a JavaScript script that is included in description of the field, create your own custom field type or install a third party plugin that already have that specific functionality.
-
JIRA Cloud have API, but I do not see an option to SET custom field option (only GET - https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/#api-api-2-customFieldOption-id-get). Maybe it can be done by Edit Issue (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/#api-api-2-issue-issueIdOrKey-put). Overall…

Do you see all text translated or only ... * Issue type * Priority * Status * Resolution Since those objects could be overridden even if using different language.
-
In OOTB JIRA you cannot schedule any recurring tasks. There are couple extensions that cover that. The most popular is The Scheduler - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/pl.com.tt.jira.plugin.theschedulerpro/server/overview
-
It should be transitioned without any bigger problem, but please make attention the recommended upgrade path that depends on your current version. Overall you would need to do upgrade to 7.0 and then you can go to the latest one. More info -…

I would start with checking the network and browser first. Try different one and write results. You can use developers tools build in every browser to see detailed info what is actually loaded and when.
-
Not sure if forcing users to watch a content is a good idea. Overall every should watch what they really want to watch to reduce notifications. Your role might only end by sharing the link to the page and add a quick note. Maybe you can also think about RSS Subscription. Adding 500 subscribes and making changes to a page…

That would probably require adding a validator on create screen that will prevent from creating the ticket and will show a custom message or static message custom field that is added by for example free JIRA Toolkit plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.toolkit/cloud/overview) or simply edit…
-
Yes, it is possible via XML backup. Please take a look on this documentation and verify against your instance https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/restoring-a-space-152036.html

For security alerts, visit the communications center.

So you want this done dynamically? That is why trying to use Script Runner? Normally you do this from a Backlog or simply create screen... but when using Script Runner you should use something like this CustomField epicLink = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName('Epic Link');…

Scrum Master do not need to be an admin in order to do some action on a Board. If he will create the Board he will be an owner of it and overall for moving issues across backlog you need for example Schedule Issue Permission. Please check Permission section from this doc in order to get more info what you need to grant…

Then you do not have a way to verify resources, but you can still check your browser settings and network. Please read below docs. It might help https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/jira-or-confluence-cloud-instance-is-running-slowly-691011837.html

Yeah. I was seeing this bug even in a earlier version of JIRA (7.2). Nothing critical actually but when I first saw that that was interesting :) .. Atlassian, please look at this and fix. It should be a pretty simple fix.

The date or date/time formats for date pickers are defined by a pair of properties (one for Java and the other for JavaScript). The two properties in this Java/JavaScript pair must match in order for the date (or date/time) picker they define to function correctly.…

JIRA Performance = Your browser performance and settings + JIRA version, instance size and resources (RAM, CPU) + Network design and performance + Database type, location and performance If one of the things are bad, you might get a worse experience with JIRA. It is a web application. There is a lot things done in JIRA…

It should work. JIRA and other major Atlassian products are using already Java 8 that is adding TLSv1.2 support.

TABLE: AO_013613_EXPENSE seems like an issue with Tempo Timesheets plugin. Are you using it? Did you upgrade it to the latest version after upgrading JIRA? You should run 8.8.1 or later if using 7.8 JIRA.. https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/spaces/TT/pages/39321676/Tempo+Timesheets+Compatibility+with+JIRA It the upgrade of…

Not quite sure why you are using additional field called "User Story" for gathering story information. You can use default "Description". This will show in a separate section on the Issue View but I do not think that there will be a UI problem with that.
-
Hmm.. Not seeing any value in automatically moving issues created in one project to another.. Cannot you close old project and simply redirect people to create issues in a new project?

Please check your PATH,JAVA_HOME, JAVA_JDK or JAVA_JRE variables. If that is correctly set you can alternatively verify wrapper.java.command located in the file <bamboo-agent-home>/conf/wrapper.conf wrapper.java.command=%JAVA_HOME%/bin/java
