I think the only way is to do it directly via database.. But to be honest I do not recommend doing this.. Confluence is build in that way to collaborate and get complete history and changes so that everyone is aware that there was a change and who did that. Not suddenly see changes without history. Imagine that you have…

Should be technically possible. Please take a look on similar question that was asked some time ago https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Can-I-change-the-theme-Skin-in-JIRA/qaq-p/102389 It should give you an idea.

we heard loud and clear that our users want a way to get their projects up and running quickly, focus on the work that matters most, and move seamlessly between projects - and be able to do so in an intuitive UI. Hi @Jason Wong There is a BIG difference between giving permission to everyone to create projects, fields,…

Then you can use JQL function that filter issues that have attachments attachments is not EMPTY and create a quick filter on a board to show only those issues
-
It depends actually on the side of you instance and things that you would like see in JIRA/Confluence. Usually someone could say "to the latest", but this is not always the case if you care about stability and be sure that all things (including addons) are fully compatible and working. I assume of course that you have…

Hi @Michael Vraa-Jensen, I think you can see attachements on the Quick Issue View on the right (there should be an icon with a number of attachments (see image below)

Yes, in User Management you have last login details. For 50 users you should be able to handle that data manually but for 4000 I understand the pain... If you cannot to this manually from User Management you might try getting this directly from your database…

Overall site admin right does not mean that you were able to edit all pages (and view them) Maybe there is a restriction set that you cannot edit? Please take a look on this page for more information https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/permissions-and-restrictions-139557.html

H2 DB is very problematic and not stable. If this is a production instance I suggest setting up an external database (like you mentioned for example MySQL) and use it instead. If everything was working and now it is not it is common situation that from day to day it just stop working... I hope you have backups. If not and…

There is a complete guide how to find SEN numbers. Below is the URL to it https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/how-to-find-your-support-entitlement-number-sen-229840018.html Ass for changing password it depends do you have a local or delegated authentication (via AD/LDAP). I assume that it is local, so in order to…

Hi @Marcos Forlenza - Welcome to the Community! I suggest to read the FAQ about licensing and purchasing first https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/purchase-licensing Usually you request for upgrade of a license to a higher tier. You can buy/upgrade directly or if you can reach to some of your local Atlassian Partners that…

Hi @Markus, The initial idea of this is that is when you resolve all sub-tasks related to specific story Jira popup would show up and ask you do you want to transition also and resolve the parent without the need to transition it manually. I personally like to use the "the dot" shortcut without the need to open the issue.…
-
Hi @Hanna_Mielczarek - Welcome to the Community! :) Hmm.. Usually adding a post function to Create Issue transition works fine. If not you might be hitting a bug like this - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-33182 If that would be easier for you try not making it on a issue creation but add an additional step that…
-
How about showing the transition but making Time Spent field required on a screen? Thanks to that users in order to transition would need to put the value in the field. All you need is a field on a screen and workflow validator on specific transition. This might be however not available OOTB. I personally use "Field…

If talking about Fisheye/Crucible and performance.. there might be one affecting repository that is big and scanning is stuck somewhere. I suggest you to check all repositories and verify that first. You can check this articles if you want to learn more about memory usage and performance tuning…

It should be enabled by default. Please take a look on this page https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/rest-apis/ and a quick video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nScy6S9tcmI

Next-gen projects are a little different than classic and from what I know there is no easy way (yet) to migrate from classic to next-get (only by trying to move). There is a request created for that already https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70880 However that is not something that is on a roadmap yet. You can…

Hmm.. If there are no security levels how you want to restrict the view of an issue after it is created? If you want to use the same project you can try only by using security levels. If not configure a new project and incoming mail handled that only you and desired group can access/use. If you decide to share the issue…

Hi @fsadykov - Welcome to Community! I know that is is possible to add a field value using jira-python but never heard of ability to add a custom field (remotely). I do not see any function in API also of jira-python - only ability to get a list of all fields and their values.
-
I would try with JIRA REST API and making a script automate this and do something with the data (as you mentioned that there might be a need to get this data very often). That is free solution and should work. If not I would look at Marketplace for addons (there are couple that allow filtering and exporting users lists)

I suggest reading also those three documentation articles https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamkb/moving-bamboo-between-machines-134873224.html https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/cloning-a-bamboo-instance-289277407.html…

If Fisheye 4.1 now is working then 4.6 should also work. Please take a look on the applink compatibility matrix to see relations and few exceptions. https://confluence.atlassian.com/applinks/application-links-version-matrix-779174762.html You would notice that versions of other apps are using higher version of applink and…

It is your call. You should set limits since overall there are no limits. More plugins mean more potential problems with upgrades later (or overall maintenance). I personal always evaluate plugins and never install plugins that would not be used for only few people or are expensive. Sometimes also plugins do now have a…

Hi @Eran Shmueli, Please check below KB article https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/start-sprint-warning-792311695.html If you are still not able to start the sprint after applying the resolution then try to type 0 in Estimate field for affecting issues.…

Yes, either done personally or by automatic services (if you login remotely via some tool/app/script).

Hi @Unaitxin, You can set how many attempts are allowed before CAPTCHA show up. In order to configure that please check below documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-captcha-for-failed-logins-216957808.html

I assume you are using Jira server. You should go to your Project > Users and Roles > Edit defaults. That opens a popup and show two fields - Project Lead (which is required field) and Default Assignee. Simply change the assignee to a new person.
